@Portuguese Fan, if you are one and the same and haven't been lurking here... things have changed since you've been around, not really for the better IMHO. A lot of posters try to watch the overly spicy and saucy posts, because there are some younger peeps commenting (Katie I think for one) which is good, but it goes way beyond that, lots of thread police lurking as well always ready to pounce. It's cool to share opinions, even have a heated discussion, most here like to do that, and do so civilly and it's good, but some peeps really speak up if THEY feel that Adam is being treated like a piece of meat, which I VERY rarely find to be the case, but these others seem to find that notion in any little post that is funny and silly and innuendo based. I don't know what Adam Lambert they've been watching, because it's quite evident to me that he's choosing all on his own to also put his physical self out there to be enjoyed as part of his performances.

Don't have time to comment very much today...on my way to work, then LA tomorrow (squeee!!!!)..but just briefly wanted to say this about the male fans..

My husband is a very big fan of Adam, has been to 4 of Adam's concerts since Feb., but doesn't go on the blogs..He barely even does email, and then its 10 words or less! .Not to be sexist at all (please don't jump on me for that!), but I think women in general are more likely to be "social" and comment, do blogs etc... Adam has many male fans, judging from concert attendees (I've been to seven so far, two more coming up this week...) but they are just not as "gushy" and chatty as some of us are!! Including myself in that group! I do think more of his fans are women tho (yes indeed!!!!!)..give him time, he'll gather more male fans as he goes along. My husband just doesn't get so excited over things like his looks or the GB...but loves his voice, his personality, his kindness, his ability to speak intelligently , etc..everything we love about Adam.Yes, he watched Idol, watches the interviews and has the same goofy smile on his face when watching and listening to Adam that I always do! And he always says.."Well, Adam could sing that better..." whenever we are listening to someone sing something..Oh, he's smitten too, just doesn't talk about it so much..!!! .He does think Adam is a very attractive man tho...Who wouldn't???

I try to listen to those interviews, and end up more frustrated than Cassie says she gets about Juneau and Xena's talking - so I end up turning them off before the interviewee even gets going. Silly, I know. Still, I've always wished for a written account of them.

Adam's obvious physical charms and attributes were there from the start, no doubt.As was his amazing vocal talent.
In addition, his charisma is undeniable.Whether it's in his stage presence or in interviews..he has "IT" in spades!
For the record...I am thrilled that even opera experts/singers are all abuzz about him.
My rocker hubby also is a major Glambert! We have been to 7 live performances and will attend our 8th in LA Dec. 16th in LA.And men do NOT come any more straight than hubby....was Army Airborne Ranger, two tours in Nam, 2 PPL hearts, 4 bronze stars.Then after Nam, he made his living as a lead singer in a rock band for the next 12 years. He, like the rest of us, is in total awe of Adam's vocal talent.
PS: Adam has said he wears an 11 to 11 and 1/2 shoe.;D
