There were 4 people in the car. Please. They just weren't wanting to be swarmed by the pap. Not "hiding in the back". Geesh.

There is certainly a price to pay for celebrity. Loss of any privacy. I am happy for Adam's success, but it saddens me that his life now is constantly invaded.

he acted like a diva. He can sing his ass off, but he should at least acknowledge the camera. He is known worldwide, so it is hard to hide from paparazzi. Give them their shot.

This is not like Adam. Perhaps sometimes u need to be left alone. He usually waves - looks tired, hope hes OK!

OMG! Pap. are like VULTURES!! I don't know who gets a thrill out of this kind of BS... Sure is NOT me...I'll bet there are moments like this that AFL wonders if the "money fame and fortune never could compete" is a self fulfilling prophesy... Having a vid. camera with a BRIGHT light following your EVERY move can't be too cool. He has a right to just down time, whatever that is to him.
People that really care about Adam will not get a kick or cheap thrill out of this. One look at his face and it tells the story... I say give the boy a break, when he says "I'm here for your entertainment" I don't believe he meant 24/7. Everyone needs breathing room. Hope Adam can survive this shark tank.
For my money, I do not want to see this kind of stuff posted, other pics, included. Just give a boy a break! Sorry that this site chooses to post his most private moments...:-(

Yes, it is hard to hide from the paparazzi. But...NO, He did NOT act live a diva. He acted like he didn't want to be on camera. He has that right. WE don't own him or his life. We are simply fans of his art. He gives alot of himself for us fans. He should be able to have time out on the town without cameras flashing in his face. IMO

Peeps, it makes me feel very sad too. But I have to look at this way, he is too famous to escape the Pap now which is a part of the fame. He will get used to it like the other big stars. Thanks God he has lots of friends and family behind him.

I know it can be very intrusive... seeing Adam like this makes me not want him out in the public eye so much. :(( Unless something happened that made him feel unhappy, speculating on my own. walk upright and give them the rock star attitude, don't hang head down. The paps want him to feel inferior, but he should flip it on them! The paps lurking after him, because he is the next BIG THING in the music industry.

as the night went on i think he realized that the poncho just wasn't a good look. ;) seriously, i love the man and everything about him but think the poncho was a miss. but no biggy. one bad outfit is no big deal.

I think Adam is learning quick, may be try o avoid incident like last time to give the Paps chance to make money. Just do NOT watch those TV programs and don't buy paper only features pictures that upset him and totally ignore his music talent. We have to learn to do this to fight the Paps.

Don't ever let the paps see you cry. They will get a kick out of it and run the pics all over the covers of magazines. He needs to stand up for himself and tell them where to go!

I love Adam so much.. watching this made me upset. I felt GUILTY watching it. He was clearly upset or down about something and wanted privacy. There are times to swarm him, and times to leave him be.

I'd so appreciate this video being taken down. Adam 24/7 means 24/7 for us, not for him! The man deserves some privacy. He's always "on" and, this time, for whatever reason, he didn't want to be photographed. We're his fans - we can respect his wishes.

As the new season of AI10 is starting, these paps won't waste anytime and they'll be on Idol Alums ass until the end of season. Obviously, they said some nasty stuff to Adam. He even covered his ears. Paps are scums of L.A. Residents despise them. Thank goodness it's illegal for them to chase celebs. cars on the streets.

Truly wish we had enforceable laws in place against this type of PAP intrusive behavior. Adam is on a hiatus and is only human. He simply just wants to try to enjoy time with friends. Some PAPS really cross the line. They are obnoxious and NOTHING stops them. They LOVE to provoke anger from the stars.

Stars have rights too. Yes, when promoting, on tour, attending award shows, interviews, etc. --it is all part of the JOB and Adam does it with style and grace.

The agrument that it is the price to pay for fame should not cause this much stress and sadness in any star's life -- especially Adam. He is soo caring, endorses/promotes charity work and is doing all this in just the very beginning of his career! Incredible person he is!

Adam may have to beef up his security when he ventures out even during these times.

Let his security man grab the camera instead!!

Perhaps that would help to avoid camera's flashing directly at him through the FRONT windshield of a car!! The PAP there was classless and ruthless.

It looks like Adam was about to cry. I think the paps must have done something really bad to him, because usually he can handle the paps quite well. He only gets upset when they are too intrusive and too provocative. Poor Adam!

If I was a celebrity, I would take matters into my own hands and punch the camera out of the hands of those mindless paparazzos. Who in the hell do they think they are messing with the Glamtastic one?! I would've gave them something to talk about alright!

Having one of the best voices in the business, will get you all this attention! He needs to take all of it in stride, because that is what comes with the prize!

I do think the Paps said nasty homophobic things to him and maybe the worst to those inside the car. He won't let down so easily. F**K those paps.

I've seen a sadness in Adam recently - even when he poses for photos there doesn't seem to be the same sparkle in his eyes or smile. But this video really makes me sad - he really seems upset and unable to hide his feelings. Maybe the adjustment of being back in Hollywood is proving to be difficult for him. Let's send him loads of love and support as his 29th birthday approaches.

I agree with others who said Adam had probably been drinking and didn't want it all on film! And when you've had a couple drinks, you're not the most rational...so maybe he was covering his ears because the paps were yelling nasty stuff, and he was trying to control his temper (this time)! It's not for us to know, unless he wants us to know.

Adam does need to make appearances in the public eye. He posed for pix inside - that is when/where the paps had their designated time and place to "play nice" and take their shots. There will always be scummy paps lurking outside the boundries, but however Adam choses to deal with it is up to him, and probabaly dependant on each unique situation.

I just hope he had a good time AT the party (inside), with his friends! Looks like a fun party.

I agree he has looked sad since New Year's.He doesn't look happy. Things must not be good between him and the new BF. No need to put hands over face, everyone knows who he is.I love Adam, am a big fan but he was downright rude to the guy that was trying to close the
door when he got out. He slammed it so he was already pissed before this point. Hope he gets it together. Just not the happy Adam that can handle anything.

1:19pm, that is my feeling about Adam as well. I feel that his smile during the party was to please other people. He seemed to be sad.

On the other hand, I don't think he's drunk either. He seemed to leave the party early, the sky was still bright. He looked too conscious to be drunk. He had steady walk. He just tried to hide his face and kept away from the paps. Something must have happened, I guessed.

I don't assume that Adam even has a BF. He hasn't had much time for a relationship with anyone. He will be in the company of a lot of men, many that can only be aquaintances or old friends. He may only be interested in a booty call at this point, with all of the work and pressure to put out a successful album upon him. His GNT will be a hard act to follow, it was that good! He must feel that he's being pulled 100 different ways, trying to make right choices, still hanging on to his real self. The pressure and demands on creating something monumental in a designated time frame can really be debilitating. The more successful you become, the more you have to lose and the expectations become greater. The papps will provoke anyway they can to get a response. Losing his temper will only give them what they want, a reaction. He is a human being and will not always be smiling and is not required to give his time on his own time. Sometimes you're just tired and don't want to be bothered and there is no great reason, just desirous for some personal space. Fame can get old real quick, and unless you've been harrassed to death, you really shouldn't judge or assume a diva attitude. Adam is the most generous of entertainers, but eventually the bloodsuckers will force you to draw a line, if only to protect your safety and sanity. funbunn40

Although, this does make me very uncomfortable to watch, because for what-ever reason, Adam clearly didn't want this. Even at the Golden Globes gift giveaway, he just didn't seem like the usual Adam. Maybe he's just under a lot of pressure to write for the new album, and new house, Grammy's coming up.

I feel real sadness watching this vid. This is the first time I have seen Adam look sad. I agree with the rest that this should be taken down. I wont speculate on why he looks sad, its not my business or right to do so. I just hope that Adam is ok.

The bright light and camera into the car was extremely intrusive. His friends had his back. Your fans want you to have a good time - you have certainly earned it.

He was on the phone just before leaving so it could have been anything. Why not just put his head on his lap to avoid the cameras? And yeah, no bank robber experience with that driver, for sure. I really couldn't have said it better myself.

Like many of the rest of the posters, I felt real sadness from these videos...sadness reinforced by what he said about his new album i.e. "maybe even a little dark". I don't think these kinds of videos should be on this site either, but it serves as a reminder that he's human, and at the mercy of whatever emotions he's feeling, camera or no camera.

I have faith that he isn't "cracking" under the pressure of his fame. We all need 'alone time'. Fame is severely overrated and that's painfully evident with just a trip to the grocery store, where many-a-celeb's face is plastered all over a tabloid magazine for the world to see and judge (when often what's being judged isn't even the truth.).

I wouldn't recommend anyone captivated by Adam's "light" and perpetual positive message to watch this video, it'll only make you feel bad for him, and in general.

I'm not going to speculate WHY Adam didn't want to be filmed by the paps. We'll probably never know so why go on about it. Fame brings the paps out in droves no matter whether celebs like it or not. It goes with the territory.
