Billboard Says 'For Your Entertainment' would be a Radio Hit!

According to Billboard.com, Adam Lambert's first single 'For Your Entertainment' is one of the songs of 2010 that would have been hits if they'd been released to radio.

very interesting... altho I recall some DJs saying that FYE would not do well (maybe they meant they would not want to play it, but the FYE electronics seems in line with last year's hits....). well the past is the past. this just bodes well for the future.
FYE has always been my favorite song and video. We hear it on our radio stations in Canada. Ive requested it a numb of times.
It was always on the top spot in mmtop10 in Canada until it was pulled. We love Adam here.
FYI has been released to radio... and flopped. Dance In The Dark was also a single in my country and was overplayed. Guess they don't know what they're talking about

I seem to remember that the FYE single was released to the Radio - I mean he did a music video and they only do those for released singles. Can anyone else clarify.
Too bad we can't get this on this radio. With a Billboard endorsement, and lots of votes on Vh1, why not??? BTW always my no. 1 Adam song; this is his mantra For Your Entertainment.
Not a new topic but new to Billboard as their opinion counts. The AMA's put a squash on FYE as a single being played, which is very sad as it is a great song, and vid. His album would have been platinum last year if they would have played FYE! So many missed out!

For Your Entertainment was released to radio for a split second.. then they pulled it after the AMA's which was totally pathetic that they did that.. The song is awesome! But Adam has plenty more hits up his sleeve I'm sure Rock On Adam!!! We Love You!

I love that song and I've requested but never played. I also requested Time for Miracles and it wasn't played.
Oh well, what's done is done and we look forward to what Adam has in store for all of us‼ CAN'T wait for Adam to ROCK our worlds again‼ The Grammy's is coming... something to look forward to next... sweet‼ :) *fingers crossed*
Does anyone know the sales figures for FYE? when I last saw them somewhere, which was at least3 months ago, maybe more, it was at 330,000 in the US. I remember thinking the figures were pretty good considering it had been pulled straight away. Maybe it will get to gold.

I was so happy when Adam added FYE back into his Glam Nation Concert...It is really "him" in so many ways and everyone in the audience loved it! Even HE was avoiding it for awhile but wisely began to perform it again. It is still my favorite video as well. Who knows, at some point it may become iconic, just like he is becoming. He obviously was proud of that song because it was his first single and I'm sure he was devastated when things happened in the way they did. But being Adam, he moved on, undoubtedly shaken, but undeterred (thank goodness), with his next one, WWFM...which of course got him a Grammy nomination, so its all good!
For Your Entertainment is a hot song! I crank it up and dance my a** off!
Thank God FYE was released in Australia where it was certified Gold and reached #5 on the Singles ARIA (the official Australian Record Industry Association) chart.
FYE single was released a year ago in many countries. Of course they can still play it on the radio if they want to. Why wouldn't they? I still hear it almost every day on the radio.
One of my favorites. Radio did not support this song and it is a shame because it would have been a big hit if more people heard the song.
FYE had the very important part in music history as the song that Adam performed at the AMA's. It cost him in the short run, but in the long run the conversation that developed was instrumental to the expedited progress of the gay community (IMO). It made people stop and think and evaluate. The video was very popular. So, FYE didn't get the radio play it should have, but following up the AMA performance with WWFM was genious. I personally love FYE as many fans do.
Agree that here in the states, FYE was never given a chance since it was never played on the radio. Very sad since it's so good! IMO IIHY wasnt as successful as it could have been if more stations had played it. Ryan Seacrests Kiss FM never played it and they have a hugh market (I no longer listen to them).
we love Adam Lambert and crazy about his vocal range. I hope to see him here again in Toronto but hopefully soon haHaHa!!!
