hehehe... Did not really realized the similarities... Last year, I notice on blogs that Chris Colfer fueled the rumours of a possible Adam Lambert appearance on Glee...Pity it is only rumours...

It almost seems like Adam's words were being spoken by Chris and I'm glad he put it out there. That said, I hope if Adam wins the Grammy he will accept it with his charismatic, humble self with class. He's already made his views known and the Grammys are an opportunity to remind the media and public of his undeniable talent and why we fell in love with him in the first place. It's an opportunity to again connect with a broader audience that was too quick to judge him for one performance and hopefully give him much needed tv exposure. I love to see the playful, charming Adam that melts our hearts and if he wins it will be so joyous and a very happy time. No need for a political statement,just happiness if he wins. He so deserves it!! I wish he would be asked to perform and blow the audience away with his incredible voice. funbunn40

Neil tweeted this today with the link going to the Water Charity Website:

Their ability to give so generously to so many good causes is, by far, Adam's fans' best quality. http://bit.ly/hEnnkU

@Funbunn40
Beautifully stated.... agreed. =)...

I got so excited when I went on the Grammy 2011 site and saw PART of a caption.. "Lambert and Kay Perry set to perform...." OMG OMG OMG!!!
I about cried I was so happy, but clicked on the WHOLE caption, and it is MIRANDA Lambert ...
DAMN! I like her but I almost had a heart attack! Site says "more performers and presenters to be announced". Ssiiighhh...

Congrats to Chris Colfer.
Adam has brought SO much more awareness of these sensitive issues, just by being Adam, and being confident and comfortable with who he is. ALL of us who love and appreciate him have gained and learned from his sense of fairness, fearless demeanor, ownership, honesty, positive outlook and importance of friendship, caring and love.

AS far as those artist who were chosen to perform for the Grammy's... it's because they got the highest Grammy nominations in the hierarchy of nominations which doesn't always mean that they have the most talented voices!

Adam can out sing everyone of them imo.

But the Grammy site says, "additional performers would be announced soon" so, let's keep our fingers crossed!

ADAM LAMBERT CAN SING ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!

Adam Lambert is truly the ONE that opened the eyes of the whole planet on bullying issues pertaining to gay men. Others followed and are also great, but through his great songs and live performances and through his incredible interviews, he carved the way for people like Colfer. Just sayin...

11:55 -- I totally agree with you. Win or not, Adam will surely be interviewed at some point in the process and I look forward to hearing him live (he's so articulate) and seeing him smile just like we've seen him in the last year during the many, many interviews he's given. WE LOVE ADAM LAMBERT FOR HIS VOICE AND HIS AMAZING PERSONALITY, moreso than for his political statements. He's already done his share of that. He should now talk about his upcoming album.

@Cindy Jan 18 5:47AM - ouch, that had to hurt :)

@daydreamin Jan 18 12:18AM - Holy Hot Hell that last link/pic! Always loved how he looked that night... and also in the pre-recorded packages when he was working with the contestants - gaah.

@funbunn40 - agree with much of what you said. So nice to see you posting again.

Gotta say 'though - home w/ kids on MLK day yesterday... saw Bruno Mars on Ellen (NOT repeat) before we went off for the day and he absolutely slayed a performance of "Just the Way You Are"... don't know if Grammy voting is closed already, do know that voters aren't supposed to judge on anything but the submitted performance... but also know how life works and dayum Bruno killed that performance yesterday on Ellen. Preparing myself, if I'm being honest, for a Bruno Mars win in AML's category... but also have been doing some blogging on the topic and can totally see how AML could very feasibly get the win too!

If Grammys are awarded on a body of work and sheer talent, then Adam deserves to win a Grammy and not just in one category. He deserves a Grammy because he's earned it. Ad Astra, Adam!

Welcome back to 24/7 Paradise, «Voice of Wisdom»! Are you already back home or still are enjoying the sunny Florida's life? Well, at least your comments rock under the sun light... Hey, who said sweet Adam wouldn't take part at the Globes?! I mean, at least his words did!

I knew Adam influenced Chris when he made that statement! Good for him! As far as GLEE-why have we not seen Adam on Glee???He is so far superior than some of the guest. Also, why has he not been on Ellen, Jay or anywhere??? And for sure he needs to be on SNL! I am so hungry to see him and pray we get a shot in the arm from him on the GRAMMY's...we need some ADAM!

Anonymous said...

Absoluely agree with the previous comment. Adam should be back on all the shows mentioned. Ellen and Jay seem to be big fans of Adam. With the upcoming Grammys and Adam's nomination, it would be great to see him on several shows performing and talking about his tour and work on the new album. He would be great on GLEE in a story line with Kris Kolfer. He is such a talented singer that it is a pity we don't see more of him on television either being interviewed or performing.

Never do understand how these artistic politics work, but Adam does get a decent amount of press on the net, and occasionally on TV entertainment news. There are a whole lot of musical artists that are great, been around a while that don't get the press Adam does. His long hair is a good example. BTW, nice of Neil to approve of us, even in his own way. Currently Glee is in the news daily because of the awards they are winning. Haven't seen a story about Gaga in weeks.

Sweetie, did you cut and paste into your browser? MGF got them to work, so I assume all is well. Let me know. There is a super long version I could send, but the shorter one was way easier.

@daydreamin, Thanks for the links! As usual, you're looking out for all of us. Still feeling Sasha's pain! Does anyone know what Monte did to his foot? @ Cindy, Agree with you too re: Chris and Adam. I also am anxious to see if Adam will perform and wish they would not keep us in suspense! @ MGF, I'm also a fan of Bruno Mars. He has a voice like velvet and will be around for a long time. He deserves to be on that list and could very well be a serious contender. Different style than Adam, but very commercial and also a talented writer. MJ's time has passed and he has already been memorialized and celebrated, but hope that sentiment won't prevail and take the Grammy. Keeping my fingers crossed for Adam. OT... @ Fan4fun, Thanks for the welcome back. Finally back home in Charlotte in time for a big 6" snowstorm that shut down the city. It cracks me up, being from Chicago where it's cold enough to freeze your bone marrow and 6" is nothing! I've been gone for 5 mos, so much to do, especially when it cuts into my 24/7 time. My 2 cats actually remembered who I was, but they're not as smart and dicriminating as Icon! Hi to Adamfix, HKfan and all too! funbunn40
