Hats off for the compilation of these audition tapes! How cool is this? Loved Adam Lambert's best of course! The voice, of course...but what a personality too! Just charming as always. Loved Paula especially because she was always encouraging - his fav judge, he said. And, Randy said wonderful things about him as well. All four judges finally came around during the competition of course. But, Adam shines among all other contestants! Watch it over and over again because it is so endearing and interesting.

I watched a few of the other clips, like Clay Aitkin (have never seen anything about him before)gosh he was really weird, Taylor Hicks, very strange audition, still reminds me of Elvis though, in the way he speaks, his cheekbones etc. Fantasia,(don't know her either), there was something about her I didn't like, Daughtry, wasn't the greatest audition and Simon wasn't impressed at all. Carrie underwood, good voice but very blah, Kellie Pickler- so cute. Watched Adams again (why did they chose this particular video that has hardly any views, makes his numbers look so low compared to everyone else), always great to watch. Theres a link at the end of the video titled audition 3 or something from a morning show where they interview the guy who interviewed Adam, I hadn't seen it before, they say really nice things about him.

It remains a wonder that they did not just put the crown on his head that day and skip all the rest. Paula was right - he was the best they had from all across the country!! Simon expressed his concerns but he was smiling in spite of himself and could not take his eyes off of Adam. He KNEW Adam was special, as much as the other 3 knew. Everytime I think I am a nut job for being so enthralled, I go back and watch the auditions .... and that first moment when I saw him do Black or White - then I know I would be an idiot to NOT love him. Then I crank up FEVER on the IPOD and I forget .... what was the question???

It was a hoot watching some of the other auditions as I didn't really follow Idol before Adam. David Archuletta's had a side bar to him singing as a child which was amazing. Kelly Clarkson i thought was really good, Was not as impressed with Carrie and didn't like Fantasia really at all, Melinda D was amazing. Adam had the most personality and looks besides the best voice. I love that view of Simon just staring at him with that look of being stunned.(about 0:43)

I've been going through Adam Withdraw Symptom AWS. Thank you 24/7 News & all the regular Glamily here with constant update news & yesteryear of Adam's challenges & accomplishments. What an amazing ride it has been since AI. I lost count on how many times I watched this audition.
Omg, HK fan, I was thinking the same thing, why they chose this video with less view too.

Thanks for the link, Melissa. It´s fun to hear this guy talking about Adams stage presence off stage. "You feel cool standing next to him". The british opera singer that talked about Adam, said something about the energy that surrounds him and the core that is still. One of the comments on this video said he is like a perfect calm in center of a storm. I would do anything just to stand next to his perfect calm.

That was the BEST thing you could have posted right now when we are missing our daily Adam-fest!! The AI vids were wonderful - I watched for HOURS!!! and my face muscles hurt from grinning. He is so beautiful, lively, intoxicating -- I love how the audience and other contestants SCREAM when he appears and explode when he sings, even if it just a little bit!! He made that season like no other has been, brought those 10 kids to their absolute best and there will never be another season like it. And now, we have his hard-won career, unfolding before us like a carpet of stardust!! I hope they get that Glamnation Video out SOON.
