In celebration of its continuing commitment to music and social/new media, The Recording Academy® will once again recognize the pioneers and influencers in this space by bringing them together for its GRAMMY® Social Media Rock Stars Summit. Prior to walking the red carpet at the 53rd Annual GRAMMY Awards on Sunday, Feb. 13, 2011, these thought-leaders will engage in a milestone conversation regarding relevant issues concerning music and mobile — beyond the ringtone and digital download. The forward-thinking panel will feature some of the world's social and new media trailblazers including current GRAMMY nominee Adam Lambert; GRAMMY winner Chamillionaire (RIAA-certified as the biggest selling ringtone by a solo artist); Facebook Director of Platform Product Marketing Ethan Beard; Foursquare Co-Founder Naveen Selvadurai; and Pandora Founder & Chief Strategy Officer Tim Westergren. The panel will be moderated by veteran broadcast music journalist John Norris.
To be held on Friday, Feb. 11 at the Conga Room at L.A. Live, the Summit will be streamed live from 2-3:30 p.m. PT/5-6:30 p.m. ET on GRAMMY.com (http:/www.grammy.com/live) and on YouTube (www.youtube.com/thegrammys), kicking off three days of GRAMMY Live™ — a real-time, innovative three-day online broadcast of the VIP events leading up to Music's Biggest Night®.

Read the source and it did not mention Adam by name as being part of this summit. Assume it will be available on You Tube--hope so any way.

If you go to Grammy.com and click on the summit article, it says that Adam is participating and the headline opens with his picture, but the above source mentions his name also.

Does anyone have an Adam ringtone and if so, where did you get it? I'd love to have "Whattaya want from me?" as a ring tone - one of the dramatic ones near the end of the song.
Adam Lambert is the REAL DEAL! He should be performing on the Grammy Stage! what is up with that? Nonsense.
My daughter and I have IIHY as a ringtone and not sure what its called but when I call my daughter IIHY plays while I'm waiting for her to pick up, my cell phone does the same. I downloaded it from my cell phone menu for ringtones.

@anon 4:34 Sometimes I looke for lyrics of songs I like and they always offer the ringtone of the song. Also, you can order any song you want for ringtone from your cell phone company.
Very happy for Adam. I am sure he will perform on many Awards and events! I read a lot of great comments about Adam today! Many articles about Adam's Golden Birthday. One of the writers even compared Adam with Oprah!

we are going to be busy this week, Wed. The Talk, Wed.the interview with Idol Inside, Fri.Feb. 13th The Social Media Rock Stars Summit and the Grammy Awards on Sunday.It's all good. He is also on the Grammy album and who knows he might just win, his chances are as good as anybody elses.I have nothing to complain about and I am going to be enjoying the week with him.

For those discussing ring tones...I have "Mad World" as the ring tone for both my husband and son...No particular hidden meaning or anything, although Mad World is my son's favorite Adam Idol Performance, and he is the one who downloaded it for me. Its nice to be in a family of Adam Lambert fans!
This is really a nice honor for Adam! Obviously word has gotten around (and documented) that his influence on Twitter is powerful, and that he is a very intelligent and articulate communicator. Good things are happening, the "right" people are noticing, and yes, I am still very hopeful and optimistic that he will win his Grammy! (You will notice I labeled it "His Grammy"..the power of positive thinking!)
It's a shame that the Summit couldn't get Michael Jackson.
