@GIOW, I thought of another old post you'd love.....Sure Fire Winners Debuts on The Edge Radio (New Zealand). The radio edit is so bright and happy-feeling, plus the DJ is enthusiastic and reads fan tweets that are great. Plus our own 24/7 comments will make you laugh.

I think getting nominated is good enough.

Saw Diana Ross on Oprah yesterday. She has been nominated for a Grammy 12 times and never won. She has sold over 100 million records. Yes, getting nominated is a big deal.

Lauri Tähkä won that category, he has very lojal fans in Finland and after all he is a finn, it's hard to win a finn;) He has won that Emma already 5 times.

I think there should have been a own category for finnish performers and for foreigners performers.

Osiris is also a Corn god and when I see Adam wearing his leopard print boots it always brings Osiris to my mind, since leopard skin was associated with Osiris.

Anon 1:04 I also saw Diana Ross on Oprah yesterday and thought the same thing! Here is a music icon, a true legend and she has never won a Grammy! That's a crime and amazing at the same time. So yes, it's a huge deal to be nominated and Adam should be so proud!!

Speaking of never winning a grammy - Led Zepplin (whole lotta loving) was nominated only once . . . . . and lost to Crosby, Stills and Nash. Go figure? BTW, David Crosby was at Molley Malones last month (in the audience) but was invited onstage to sing a song with the opening act before the Canyons came on. I know, totally OT, sorry. Others who never won were Queen (Freddie Mercury), The Beach Boys, the Who, Jimi Hendrix - (say that isnt true!) and Chuck berry (who's still performing into his 80's). I'm assuming this is correct info. that I read in an article at spinner.com.

I do believe that Adam will win sometime in the future. I think he needs a catchy tune. I know he wants to write a lot of the songs himself, but just look at all those catchy songs sung by Diana Ross that someone gave her to perform. Part of it was her presentation and part of it was that the song was really good.
I remember dancing to all of those. Sometimes a singer needs a really talented writer and I hope Adam gets some great songs to work with.

To cheer everybody up, a statistic here about an international star who only wrote a handful of songs during her extremely successful 30 year career.

Being recognize and respect by your peers is a big deal. As long as Adams music is selling and concerts are sold out every performance, that's the most important them all..... It's my opinion though. Peace and love to you all

Also, Bruno Mars gets categorized as an R&B singer, but he won the Grammy in Pop genre..?

I checked that Usher won the Grammy in R&B vocal category. I'd say that Usher has better pop songs than Bruno Mars ever.

I agree that Celine Dion was given beautifully written songs that showcased her voice. That is what needs to happen with Adam.
If he writes the song, he makes more royalties and more earnings, but I think the album should be a mix of several writers. I hope it is less overproduced as well - I used to get exhausted just listening to it because of all the extra background sounds

That is not Sauli's sister. Alot of Finns are blonde. Sauli has a twin sister whose name starts with S and I think also 2 other sisters.
