Oh boy, Oh Boy............love it, will keep it and cherish it.

I know I'm again in the minority, but I like the rehearsal look more than the Russian Count from War and Peace look and pointy hair. Don't be mad. I prefer a scruffier look unless he's in one of his black suits!!!!!!!

I think the makeup etc puts him in a performance mood.

Yes, he's at heart a stage creature, been wearing makeup since he was 10 I guess....on stage I mean!

He always wants to "Put ON A SHOW" dancers, costumes, sets, lasers.....I just want him to sing.

I don't know why he has to do soundchecks, he's freakin awesome no matter when, where, or how. I have been playing Sleepwalker, Aftermath, Broken Open, & TFM, a lot lately! Sometimes I go back to Strut or SFW, But always on the way to work, it's Music Again & FYE, they get me in the mood for work! Mwah!! K

I loved this performance of Sleepwalker! His vocals were spot on perfect (well they always are!) I definitely saved this one!

Didn't so much love the pointy hair but it does get your attention, doesn't it? Adam always says he wants to "stand out" from the others!

Yup, maybe I'm in the minority here also, but I like the relaxed scruffy look in rehersals. More natural, although the sound was so much better in the live one. Love our BB anyway he looks, just don't love the high hair look . I still have that performance permantly on my tivo along with all the rest of his t.v. performances.

Who can sing like Adam, with or without make up, he is phenomenal. Say it again, sleepwalker should be a damn world wide hit. Are the human race deaf to what is call music? Instead they praise this f**king birth scene. Sorry,Rant done.

That was a great performance. Adam represent(s)ed glam, take it or leave it. I'll take it.

K.....soundchecks are a must because every room you play in has it's own sound faults...bounce back or hollow sound or any of a dozen problems they have to work out before the performance.

Now, as for Viggo, I would have willingly gone to live in Middle Earth with him...in reality he is a poet, one of my favorite species of humankind!

Leno loved it and predicted it would be a big hit... Well damnit it WILL if it would get released! I'm loving this attention Sleepwalker is getting... I never gave up on the thought that this WOULD eventually be realeased, it's LOVED by soooo many! I'm really secretly wondering if it wasn't the plan all along to hold it back to help get the hype going and a ready-made audience rabid for it - to insure a hit. Hopefully this will get talked up...
I would LOVE them to realease the video version from the dvd--- song and video, viola... matched set...

Seeing and hear Adam do Sleepwalker is like being hit with a stun gun!I can feel the adrenaline kick in!Love this performance, but the eyemakeup better saved for the clubs or concerts.Too much on tv and his eyes are so beautiful all you could see was too much eye shadow and glitter detracting from those naturally beautiful expressive eyes. Sometimes being over made up takes away instead of enhancing what is already beautiful. I know Adam has to unleash the makeup beast within and he looks good no matter where his artistic bent takes him. Even the once in awhile nerd look is endearing and you just want to hug him. funbunn40

I wasn't talking about the Idol combed back hair style, that was a sweet look, like his Mom had combed his hair for a school picture....or Sunday School ....or in Adam's case Hebrew School.

I'm talking the towering, three times higher "do" at some of the GNT stops.

Didn't really think that flattered the shape of his face, on occasion depending on how vigorously he danced, the creation fell down and became the rather ragged Black or White Idol look. Divine...........JAK

I am from Russia. And I had chance to read the book and to watch Russian and American versions for this book. And Adam looks exactly like one of the Counts from this book

In my opinion a hit song doesn't have to be too complicated. I like simple hit songs. I never heard Mad World before Adam covered it. I only knew Shout and Everybody Wants To Rule The World by Tears for Fears. I liked Shout. It was a big hit in the 80's.

Re: the look. I am a sucker for fashion and I love the "Russian count" hair better and the make up is unbelievable,the outfit is "I want one now" so crazy amazing. All in all=>STUNNING!

I read this morning an article (Examiner) I think that was talking about Sleepwalker being released in Oz, and they said the dvd live video would be the video to go with it, at least thats the way I read it.

Yes ZZ he said "I fuck around' bigger than life. Must say it often during practice as no one batted an eyelash. I love it when Adam is Adam and that's who he is. As for the hair, never in my entire life has so much been written about an artists hair. Well the Bieber hair and that I pretty much dismiss. As long as it's on Adam's head, I like it up, down short, long, but the best when it's totally out of control.

If the above is true then it would be played on the radio the way he sings it on the dvd. Love the way Adam sings it live, so much emotion and passion. It would beyond awesome if they could do that in the U.S. Do you think RCA saw all the worldwide trending for Sleepwalker yesterday. Wake up RCA! We don't need you guys sleepwalking. only our Adam on the U.S. radio!

Usually singles are released from the album and it is the album version that's playing on the radio. Maybe they release something else for the American fans, if you don't want that..

There have been songs released recently from albums that have changed for the radio, such as F****** Perfect from Pink, Cee Lo Greens F*** You and a new one from Enrique Iglesias something with the words F****** You in the title. They could do that with an Adam song as well. Adamluv

As far as Adam's hair goes,I like it almost any way EXCEPT shaved on one,or both sides,so don't complain about it being a little "high" or whatever..@ least,there's HAIR there.( it's too bad that the GNT DVD has his hair shaved.I haven't bought it yet,but may when it gets in the stores)..I love this version of Sleepwalker from Leno,too.I saved it a long time ago before it was removed from you tube by NBC,& also on my DVR..I wonder why they don't care that IIHY is still there,but Sleepwalker isn't..I checked again today.I'll be glad when Adam gets to 1,000,OOO followers on twitter..it won't be too long now,I bet.I'd sure like to see him sing a new song on TV..maybe a single can be put out way before the new album comes out.That's the way it goes for many stars.

THAT performance on Leno was when I said, "he's back. That's the Adam I've been wanting to see." It was a thrilling performance that he duplicated over and over on his tour. It makes the album version pale in comparison.

Yeeeahhh baby, did I miss this... so nice to have it back. It IS great, love the ending... but I have to say having seen it live on tour, there's just nothing like experiencing the live versions.(Freakin WOW! AMAZING) ...there are soooo many awesome versions of it, but this will always remain in my top 5

Another I love is an acoustic version from the first world promo tour, just him on a stool in front of a window blind, Monte, & Lingenue on a bongo drum... ASTOUNDING. (Berlin?)

@ JAK yup, yer right, lol sometimes the creation fell down... Love the make-up here but the hair is a bit much--- (sort of comic-book character, but I think that's what he was going for?) The one I actually meant on AI was the MENTOR/Elvis week when he performed WWFM in the platinum jacket. THAT was piled HIGH and I LOVED it! I think his face looks awesome...very flattering as it looked for his last show in LA also.

Yes, in high school I waded thru thousands of pages of all the great Russian novels....so sad, so romantic....soooooo looooong. Loved them.

That's not the same video that I have of the Leno show that night. Tommy was where Monty is and the piano was on the opposite side. And he did not sing the song like this. I think this is the dress rehearsal. I have that Sleepwalker video several times and know it by hard. THis is good, but not the one that was televised on LEno.

I was lucky enough to be at the Brisbane (Oz) concert and he blew this song right out of the water!! So much intensity, pathos and passion.

I do hope this song does well in Australia. I'm soooooo overjoyed it's being released here but I'm nervous about it as well. It's been a good while since IIHY was released here so I hope my fellow Aussies haven't forgotten about Adam. On a happier note, sales of Sleepwalker here might lead to more sales for his FYE album .... fingers crossed.

and the actual performance is below that...which was fabulous!! He was SOOOOO good! A co-worker saw this performance and loved it..and she isn't even a fan..

Good on ya girl...You probably saved the video in your favorites immediately after it was posted. The video we are watching above is flipped...notice Tommy and Monte are playing their instruments with the wrong hands. I'm sure this was done so that NBC (Leno's Show) couldn't remove this version from U-tube. Tommy is shown on the left but goes out of camera range before 0:14.

I'm jumping up and down and screaming (alone in front of the computer). Oh, I'm so excited!!! Now the contestants can see the performance of a superstar "Idol". Will he do it acoustic or with the whole band? This is the best news ever!!! Yay!
