He is such a gorgeous baby and he is so lucky to have such creative and loving godparents!
They mean everything to kids and later, to the godparents!

Mothers love handing their babies to Adam. I remember, even during his AI days of walk-abouts, a cute baby clinging to Adam's hair as he nestled on his shoulder. Riff baby is adorable and so is Adam.

Off topic here, but did anyone see the article from Ann Powers from the LA Times re the remaining Idol contestants? She has always been a fan of Adam and mentions him in the article with the title and topic:

"C'mon, would-be Idols, take the leap
This season's remaining 'American Idol' contestants have their toes in their respective genres, but none are truly diving in."

She goes on to discuss each of the remaining Idols and her advice for them.

And says this about Adam..

Just wanted to pop in and say that the drama at Bedlam NY has turned out to be all a misunderstanding and "case of mistaken identity" according to latest tweets..Adam and Sauli were together..and not with others..Sounds much more likely than what was being reported earlier..

Adam took Sauli to Gaga's concert on his birthday. That was weird, because I don't think Sauli even likes Gaga. His music taste is different. You are probably right. I said that it began with the voice, the addiction was the voice, but then those other things added to that. I don't know what can explain such obssesion with a person, except for sexual attraction. But then why should I be so sexually attracted to someone I can't even see in the flesh (not to mention smelling him)? It doesn't make sense. And it didn't ever happen to me, not even as a teen. And since it's such a world-wide phenomenon, I recon it isn't me, it's him. What is it about him?
Or maybe I'm wrong. Maybe George Clunny's fans feel just as strongly about him, or Justin Timberlake's fans, or whoever, and it isn't such a unique phenomenon?

The thing that many of us have noticed and talks about. We say the same thing, that´s special in a way too: The way Adam changes from his stage persona to his own person. When his eyes clears an he smiles that innocent sweet smile. That is one of the things I find so endearing.

Trying to figure out WHY Adam is special is an exercise in futility....he just IS! Whats hard for me to understand is why everyone doesn't see it?

To me it's as if he were lit from within and has a special glow of joy and eagerness, fun and acceptance. Like most of us have as a child and sadly outgrow as we mature. He may be on his way to 30 but I suspect he is one of those people who grow up on the outside but stay forever young on the inside.

@JAK - you're right, I also wonder how come there are people who aren't hooked on him, but luckily we all have different tastes. And you're right he's a bit of a Peter Pan. And you're ABSOLUTELY right about all the positive things you wrote about him (or will ever write)...
It's just that I wonder if I'm destined to live the rest of my life like that - my brains tell me I shouldn't throw every free minute away chasing after everything Adam and neglecting everything else; But my heart (and other parts of me ;-)) tell me I should.

I am on twitter too infact was on when the million went down. It about 2 hours we had a twitter party like no other. Fun and fabulous and historic. He was trending all night with" Adam to 1 million." I hate to say it but it was like watching the ball drop on New Years Eve. Now Adam has over 4,000 more followers since then. His fan base is fierce to say the least. I have this terrific obsession with Adam and anything Adam. I find myself fighting like crazy to defend him just because some magazine slaps a B+ on his musical achievements report card. Sometimes I even think it's OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder), good gracious!
But truthfully, I feel it may be a kind of spiritual connection with Adam. His voice is the main hook for me accompanied by all the other subsidiary hooks like his dancing, fashion, lithe body, magnanimity, grace, intelligence and wit. Voice is a channel to the soul.

My female hormones have left me, as I got the ole hair on the face now. So hormomes isn't why I feel the same as you two and all the rest the ladies about Adam. I sometimes think he is the kind of male all of us wish we had, even if ours couldn't sing. The effect he has on us, and why we love him so deeply, can not be explained. I just love to look at him, hear him talk or sing, and I get all teary eyed when he is loved by others, or when he wins an award, and read good things people say about him. Funny thing this addiction to the one and only Adam Lambert. I so wish I was young and my name was Sauli.

I love how Adam seems to really enjoy and want to hold babies!

I have completely lost my life that I had before Adam. I can't explain it either. He has some sort of spell over all of us. I think there is something coming through all of our computers that is hypnotizing us! I think Adam has figured out how to control us too because for the life of me, I don't know what in blazes would have this effect on me, and so much so that I would lose so much sleep over it. I love to sleep, but have probably cut my sleep at least 30% in the past 2 years. Who has this kind of power?!!

Sleep.....what's that? B.A. (before Adam) B.C.
(before computer) sleeping and reading were my favorite things. Now I stay up till 2 am or even later and finally crawl between the sheets for about 2 -3 hours a night. My dark circles rival Adam's occasional raccoon stage makeup.

I have 2 years of unread books staring at me and I don't "get it" reading has been my thrill and solace for 60 years!!!This is getting seriously weird. I no longer consider Adam's success an interest, it's an imperative!!!! I need re-hab and sleep...>-->O zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz JAK

@JAK, seriousely only 2-3 hours of sleep?? I care for you too much @JAK for you to get so little sleep! I thought I was bad! I also go to bed between 1-2am or sometimes later, but have been trying to get to bed earlier. My son is now starting to tell me to get to bed earlier because he says he has heard that lack of sleep can lead to breast cancer. My own son telling me to go to bed earlier! Yowza lady, you need to! What time are you getting up? Why? You now have me worried. At least I sleep till 7am and 9 or so on weekends. I also have 2 years worth of books staring at me. I go to my book club meetings every month and I don't even read the books in most cases...just visit with the ladies (I'm NOT the only one who doesn't read lol!)

I know it's crazy....but I simply can't stay away from DELL-A in the evenings and every night I tell myself "midnight is your cut off" but since I'm extreme east coast time there are so many of you still awake and chatting that I'm afraid I'll miss something. I wake up at 5 a.m.
My internal alarm goes off then! Wish I could reset that!

My husband sometimes chases me to bed for an afternoon nap...but if I have a stack of cds and ear buds he usually confiscates them. So sometimes I nap or more often just float in the in between concious and unconscious lovely restful state. I call it "woozing".

My days and nights have been mixed up since the GNT! Before I know it, it's 4 or 5AM! Time flies when your reading every link and watching every video. Never mind commenting and reading all on 24/7. I now tell myself I don't need to sleep. When I'm dead I'll sleep for a long, long time! Like JAK I also have a stack of unread books and a list of those I planned on reading. There's no hope for this obsession. I give up and will just go with it. I do however have to work on getting back to physical fitness to be able to get my groupie on and have the stamina to go to as many concerts as I can. I may need a walker by that time, but whatever it takes! Jak and I may both need a gurney! funbunn40
