From MTV:
Adam Lambert said his prom date was a 10, so he definitely had a fun night. “I had a great prom. I had an awesome time,” he said. “I went with one of my best friends in high school. Her name was Lauren, and she was really hot. She wore a really hot red dress, so I felt like I had arm candy.”

No, Adam, I think maybe you were the "arm candy" for your friend, Lauren. LOL!

Yeah CT agree. I have seen a picture somewhere of him with his prom date Lauren. They looked cute and we know Adam appreciates beautiful girls.

Check out Claude Kelly's latest comment about his studio session with Adam today! So looking forward to this new CD!!

@ClaudeKelly: i rarely share my studio excitement but 2day w/ @adamlambert & @EmanuelKiriakou is special indeed. we're taking creative risks. #dealwithit

Sounds exciting. I just hope not too risky because Adam needs some mainstream huge hits on his next album. But I have faith in Adam and the people he is working with. Can't wait to hear his next album and see the next chapter of super stardom unfold!

Go to you tube and listen to Claude Kelly's song called I Hate Love, it's great. iIs voice is real good. I can hear Adam singing something like this, very emotional and from the heart.

@Eva - unbelievable isnt it, that in this day and age there can be such ignorance and hate. Read about this at afterelton a few days ago but didnt know whether to post it here or not. Glad you did. They said with their normal humorous take on shit like this, "But I bet you can still say - That's so gay !" ???? ...... Adamluv

I listened to Claude Kelly's song, I like it.
Adam is really mixing it up with many collaborators I'm not familiar with...but I've liked all the ones I checked up on. I am more and more excited about the new album.....JAK

Proms are my least favorite school memories.
Three bombs......first one I had a gorgeous black lace over white tulle gown and had a first date with a gorgeous boy who turned out to be
dumber than a rock! The next 2 proms went downhill from that...Not exactly Happy Days...JAK

Please, help me, ladies, I can't understand. Did Adam's prom date was 10 years old? What does it mean "10"?

Anonymous said...

to 10:18 - This means a rating of 10.
10 out of 10 which is a perfect score for a prom date. This is slang for a very pretty girl with a good figure

@anon 11:01 pm Happy for Adam!!! Because he always mentions that he was fat and ugly at high school.

I don't know anything about proms but I was a vivacious party-goer in my younger days, danced till 4 in the morning. I think it means on a scale of 10.... 10 out of 10. :)

@Adamluv
Honestly, I didn´t know if it ALL was a joke. To me it´s absolutely unbelievable something like this could excist in a modern country. But the article was great, satire at its best.

@Eva, As reported last Wed. Minnesota Republicans are taking steps to constitutionally ban marriage equality. And back in March the Indiana senate passed an amendment banning gay marriage/civil unions. Need I go on? Could give other examples but very embarrassing to have to report this especially to those of you from more enlightened countries! ....... Adamluv

Its sadly a return to the dark ages..

Thanks for the link, Eva. One step forward, three back. I'm still anazed at the ignorance in this day and age. There is no logic. Donald Trump ,IMHO, would love to go back to the days of slavery. People believe in fairy tales and whoever is the most obnoxious and talks the loudest. No one is really listening . Scary and disappointing. funbunn40

as for the Vile Donald Trump he's been in our country buying up land for his golf courses..people are being thrown out of the homes they have lived in for all their life for this Horrid Man...God this world sucks at times!!!

I think anti-homosexuality is deep-rooted fundamentalism, very difficult to change. My immediate concern is Adam. If he does get married in California and wish to have a child too, will his family get equal rights? One of his tweets some time ago wails out: Equal rights for all is glam. I wonder if one of his new album songs will reflect this.

-Iam my - Where have you been? Fever wasn't a single because of the pronoun "he". You want Adam to be a successful singer who is gay or that gay guy who isn't played on the radio?

Yeah, got it, thanks.

California is set to change law to become the first US state to require the teaching of gay history and rights.

Atricle by Brittany Hutson:

"As early as the 2013-2014 school year, the California Board of Education and local school districts would be required to adopt textbooks and other teaching materials that would cover the contributions of LGBTs throughout history.

Those who are opposed to the curriculum change, including some churches and conservative groups, believe that homosexuality is being forced upon students. Some also add that how a child learns about homosexuality should be determined in the home by the parents.

Yet advocates believe that the instruction about gays in history would fill “an obvious gap in the state’s existing social studies framework and curb anti-gay stereotypes,” reports the AP."

“Teaching LGBT history in schools would offer all students a valuable lesson in the respect of all human beings and would help to break down stereotypes, bias and bigotry, which is learned at home, at school and in religious environments,” said Douglas Sadownick, Ph.D., founder and director of Antioch University LGBT specialization in clinical psychology.

(I know there is a long way to go to change the minds of so many and there will be a fight. I have several in my own family that I am trying to open their minds...one nail at a time!)
