Have to say, I'm over the beard already. Think this pic makes him look like a devilish Halloween impersonation. I know, it's not complimentary towards Adam, just unflattering IMHO. I'd say the same if it were one of my kids sporting the same look. He does have a devilish side that has to come out, lol Love him no matter what, just sayin' funbunn40
You sure did nail it, comment 1:51. Adam's facial hair has made him look in every photo like the devil...like depictions we have been presented with over the years. Adam's look is totally UGG! in my opinion. He looks scary! Why do some men look so great with facial hair, and others just don't. Brad Pitt also looks better clean-shaven, but at least Brad's facial hair doesn't make him look devilish.
Why its's Count Dracula! lol He will change it up, don't worry. I am not that crazy about the beard but since I am soooo crazy about Adam, it's like whatever.
Just goes to show you can't believe everything you read. Monte and Tommy not gay? Stop the presses!, but we already knew. Love Adam's facial hair and that devil may care attitude. Anyone who doesn't think Adam has a little devil in him, isn't following closely enough.
Vote for Adam as the top idol in Q102 philadelphia. He is losing ground to Jordin Sparks. I know it's not that important but we should vote. The web site is html.www.q102.com/pages/ultimate-idol/index.html Or you can just type in on google q102 philadelphia top idol vote Adam Lambert and it will come up, K? Also on that same station you can request aftermath remix at Max 8 at 8.The D.J. really likes Adam.
I like the way he looks. Clean or w/ tash & goatee. He likes it at the moment, and it helps him to not get a whisker burn from his partners whiskers. It is a cushion for his face. More important than what we like, it is what he likes. Some like the heavy eyeliner, some don't. We don't make a comment on that for every pic we see, or hair up or down. Isn't it time someone starts on the drinking again, or why isn't he working. We glorify his friends that are making it big time on Adams name, and support, but pick Adam apart. I don't get it. I wonder what some of his friends would be doing today if Adam wasn't popular and such a good guy. For me Adam has paved the way and he will always be first in my heart. I may never get to meet him or get a tweet from him, but this man is the trend setter of today. He deserves praise of all kinds with his love and kindness. That is what we should be talking about.
The whole point of discussing Adam's beard, hairstyle, friends and personal choices is silly. We have no say in what he does so on almost every page and topic we spout off our opinions, jokes, frequent off-color or even vulgar cracks about him. Or strange bordering on psycho worship of a young man who is only normal, not perfect, not an idol to be put on a pedestal.
Just a man with an unusually beautiful voice and what appears to be a pleasant personality. I have for the most part enjoyed chatting on this site but I think this fandom has gone to the dark side of common sense, complaining about silliness is silly. Perhaps going back to discussing the glambulge will seem a more proper subject. Bye. JM
Thanks @P.A.S. for reminding us of what is important. I think Adam is an extremely attractive guy with or without the "facial hair". I'm happy he has the opportunity to do as he pleases for awhile, and if he likes the goatee, its fine with me. I am actually one of those who kinda likes it..and I just bet he looks reallllllly good in person with this look. I do have to say I wouldn't mine seeing his hair down a little bit..a little more casual...but again, whatever works for him..No complaints from me..
I assume the main reason we are giving this picture so much attention (other than we like to see this man..) is because nothing else has turned up..veerrrry slow Adam news day..no twitter rants, no musical collaborations with the fans via twitter, no party pics to see from last night..just nothing..a rare occurrence to be sure. So we 'll see what turns up tomorrow!
So, I may be heading to a Monte-Tommy-Warrin Willis-Xander Smith show in my state tomorrow..speaking of Adam's Glamily. They are in Richland, WA today and tomorrow and although its a bit of a drive for me, might be heading there..Still deciding. Always fun to see them in a different setting. Monte and Tommy did a "House Party" appearance at a school today, with an official show tomorrow night.
Okay! Breaking News! This happened today! Obviously Adam is back in LA...probably explains the late night tweeting..airline flight..I would guess we'll have some new pictures! : )
ASCAP Celebrates the Songwriters Behind Pop Music's Biggest Hits at Annual Awards Ceremony in Hollywood Rod Stewart, Band of Horses, Randy Bachman, Lukasz "Dr. Luke" Gottwald, Max Martin, Pat Monahan of Train, EMI Music Publishing and Others Honored at Star-Studded Event
Los Angeles, CA, April 27, 2011: ASCAP (the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers) hosted its 28th Annual Pop Music Awards tonight at the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel in Los Angeles, California. The star-studded event, which was attended by hundreds of songwriters, recording artists and music industry leaders, paid special tribute to Rod Stewart, Band of Horses and Randy Bachman, and honored the songwriters and publishers behind some of today's most popular music.
Top awards were presented to:
Songwriters of the Year: Lukasz "Dr. Luke" Gottwald and Max Martin Song of the Year: "Hey, Soul Sister" by Pat Monahan of Train Publisher of the Year: EMI Music Publishing
Max Martin also won for "DJ Got Us Fallin' In Love" by Usher with Pitbull and "Whataya Want From Me" by Adam Lambert, who presented the award to the Swedish songwriter/producer. This is the fourth Songwriter of the Year win for Martin, who also earned the coveted prize in 1999, 2000 and 2001 for writing a string of hits, including "Quit Playing Games (With My Heart)" by The Backstreet Boys, "Baby One More Time" by Britney Spears and "That's the Way It Is" by Celine Dion.
I'm sorry to see JM leave, I don't think she sounds like a hater, more like disappointed. I enjoyed a lot of her comments and I remember how much fun she got out of KW's "Adam the Viking and Pirate" stories and shared that silliness with us all. I guess she just wasn't comfortable here anymore.......JAK
Look! I think some of us may be getting too serious about everything. I am the one into the silly stuff and almost every time to be reminded to straighten up. I have made tonnes of positive comment praising our beloved God. But sometimes I just need some fun and entertainment here to share with others. It doesn't matter what we discuss about Adam, the most important we all love him. Adam is a very sexual human beings who lead you to the wildest dream you ever dream. :) & <3
I am all for silliness and fun, but we are getting critical of people expressing their opinions. This seems recent to me. I don't like his current hair style, I don't like the facial hair, I don't like the gauges and I hate tattoos. Does that mean I can't "play" anymore?
I love Adam and am fine with him making whatever choice he wants. I'm sure that like you I've made embarrassingly sweet comments about him. I wouldn't be here if I didn't think he was special and "need" to talk about my new hobby. .......Too serious indeed..................JAK :)
I don't like a lot of things, but I think we should keep that to ourselves. It's not important what we as individuals like or dislike. Adam Lambert is a vocalist, and I personally think all this talk about his looks on a particular day is a big bore.
@JAK Fun loving peeps always get bombard here and I remember last time we almost be crucified about the GB talk. Well, if everybody talk the same stuff, it will be bored. Some people are born to be wild as Adam. I love Adam's music too and I can play his songs for my won entertainment. Here, I have learned Adam's spirit to spread love to everyone and I know I am not alone. JAK, I really enjoy you being here. Peace and Out! :) Anon 7:28pm
My comment was not to piss anybody off. It is how I feel about over and over stuff like the goatee, drinking, hair, gauges, tats and most is not in Adams favor. Some comments are not silly they are critical. I can't imagine being Adam and reading some of the comments. I know he isn't going to please everyone with everything he does, but it just seems lately he can't do anything right.
There is another thread where some comments were saying the opinions were getting out of hand, but here some of the same people are now saying it is okay.
Sillyness is fun and hurts no one. But there hasn't been much of that lately. I tried a couple of threads back, but nobody picked up on it. I thought this Question was important and nobody said anything about it. Q: You are a rare instance where fandom has embraced your friends & family almost as you. FUN, UNCOMFORTABLE?...............ADAM SAID:Fine line, I am happy to see my friends benefit, but at times it feels like the boundaries are really hard to draw........................
Now if he reads how much praise is given to others and he gets critized for not looking good with this or that, just how would it make you feel? After all this time we know he changes things often, make up, hair, clothes, etc. I feel we have forgotten to be his fans first and foremost.
If I have hurt anyone so they want to leave this site, don't go. I will go because am only one person, with my opinion.
Just read a bunch of comments from Adam amd Kesha presenting awards tonight. Adams not going to be happy. His hair was referred to as Chia Hair and lots of cracks about the heighth of it. Not good,so maybe change soon.
I want to thank you for your comment. You are a class act. I wish I could write like you. What I don't understand is why can't someone say something serious once in a while? I enjoy sillyness and have been silly on here. I kind of feel like @U_Franklin sometimes and get out of sorts. I guess what bothers me is all the nice comments about his friends, but he don't do this, do that comments. Do you understand where I am coming from? P.A.S.
I've been here for awhile and have been criticized more than once for sure, to the point that I thought about leaving, but licked my wounds and came back.. Since I first discovered this site, we have had a lot of fun here, learned a lot about Adam and the Glamily, I've made some friends, met up with some at concerts, but we've sometimes gotten whacked for too much silliness, too much personal talk, too much seriousness, having the wrong opinion, being a tad too racy..etc. etc. At one point things got so bad that the admins had to literally remove entire threads, remove the ugliest comments, and then institute a delay on posts. Fortunately things calmed down and went back to "normal". This is a great blog and Adam Lambert resource, and everyone should feel free to express an opinion, knowing that not everyone will agree with each poster, every time. However, it makes sense that everyone should play nice, be respectful to each other, and to Adam. I know, this kind of talk makes some people gag, but in the whole scheme of things, it might make life a little easier. And our object of affection, Adam Lambert, the king of diplomacy, would be proud.
And @P.A.S. please stay...
And @JAK please say whatever you want to..I do... ; ) Well, sometimes I don't..but that's called self-preservation!
Someone mentioned PUSS IS BOOTS! My black Ida is just like Adam nowadays. Black fur and green eyes. And cats wear cajal too, you know. Sanni and tiny black Ida-baby meaowww!!
I love Adam´s goatee, his hair, his gauge and and tattoos! But we both unite in his HEART, SOUL and MUSIC!!! That is the most important thing what counts here in the end!
Everyone has a right to an opinion. Not liking facial hair or too much makeup isn't the same as remarking about someone's genetic appearance that is inherited and would be tasteless and cruel. That's not the case here. Superficial remarks are just that and not meant to be hateful or that deep, just idle opinions until we get more substantial news like Adam's music to occupy us. This is talk among ourselves, not directly to Adam who's lucky to keep up with twitter, let alone visit every Adam site. Scan by what you don't prefer to read. No one's right or wrong, just different tastes that are all valid to the individual. Some prefer to think that Adam is always perfect and it's a sin to not always love all of his choices. That's fine and your choice, but not all have the same tastes and I think it's not the end of the world to share minor dislikes as well as likes. Don't think that Adam agrees with censorship or "yes men" either. Just keepin' it real.
@P.A.S. Thanks for your kind words. The funny/weird thing is, I wrote a comment at about the same time you did, addressing some things..and among other things asked you to please not leave! And also hoped that @JAK would just feel free to comment away and not feel stifled. But it disappeared into space I guess. Maybe it will appear out of the blue..who knows! Its happened before!
Suffice it to say, from time to time we all have our moments of frustration here, for one reason or another, and we also have our moments of feeling criticized here (I've had some turns..might again right now..), and being made to feel that our opinion doesn't count or isn't right. Everyone here is entitled to an opinion, and that's my opinion as well! I would suspect too, that the comments about Adam's friends and family are generally nice and favorable and light, and as a result, non-controversial, because we are only marginally involved in anything they might be doing. On the other hand, we are very much into our fandom with Adam, to varying degrees of course, and everything takes on much more meaning. We really want him to succeed, and we really want the world to know what we already know about him, that he is fabulous. Some are concerned with the outcomes of anything he does, says, etc.., some not so much. We also have different ways of expressing our varied levels of fandom. As Adam has said more than once, "you can't please everyone". For instance, Adam's hair is a constant topic of conversation (we'll leave the beard out of it..not touching that subject LOL!) and some like it one way, some like it another..and is often subject to (hopefully..) friendly discussion. But its only a superficial topic ultimately, because it is constantly changing and underneath it all, Adam is still Adam: a gifted singer, a really nice human being (from all we know about him), and coincidentally, pretty good to look at too, no matter what his hair looks like. And I do have to say, I really hope he doesn't shave it off..ever..other than that, its his hair....For instance, I rather like it a little shaggy, down, and a little bit in his face..but that's just me. ; ) (Taking a moment to visualize....) (***happy thoughts****)
My final comment was this: (More or less...I think..) : Adam Lambert is our muse, our object of affection and/or admiration at least. He is also a master of diplomacy, and from time to time takes to his Twitter account and gently admonishes us, his passionate and loyal fans, to settle down and play nice. Always good advice.. So the bottom line seems to be: say what you want to say, and don't worry too much about it. I'm just speaking for myself here, of course. Others may have other opinions ..which brings us back to the original topic, which should be:....Silliness is good for the soul. So go for it!
It's a new day and after a sleepless night it's nice to be awakened by many nice messages. I thank you all and Ronnie I accept your hugs. Old ladies are especially fond of hugs.
I intend to avoid photos for awhile, I'll whisk right past them and soon there will be a new hairstyle. Braids probably with turkey feathers or a bun on top with chopsticks or a 50's style crewcut or God knows what.....I do have happy dreams of his Idol modified EMO making a reappearance. I'll be okay.
After all I had two teenagers in the 70's who went thru dozens of hairstyles and haircolors and I still loved them. I didn't necessarily want to be seen with them, but I did love them! ....................JAK
Good morning! Another precious one across the Ocean! (Thanks for looking after me on my wine-crying-giggling-evening. It doesn´t happen often. Adam´s tweets got me all mixed up really...) Sanni

Don't worry, different people have different taste. I like his sexy evil eyes with this beard in the picture. Its kind of cool and animal....like.

Haven't we seen an infinite number of these photos lately, Adam's the same, the only change is the supporting cast member. Same old, same
old.
Get him out of that place and hold him down and shave him! But do it gently! Any volunteers? JAK
I'm willing to throw my body on him just tell me where and when!

@Eva

Braids probably with turkey feathers
or a bun on top with chopsticks or a 50's style crewcut or God knows what.....I do have happy dreams of his Idol modified EMO making a reappearance. I'll be okay.
After all I had two teenagers in the 70's who went thru dozens of hairstyles and haircolors and I still loved them. I didn't necessarily
want to be seen with them, but I did love them!

(Thanks for looking after me on my wine-crying-giggling-evening. It doesn´t happen often. Adam´s tweets got me all mixed up really...)
