Ive watched this about 6 times now and cant get the big smile to leave my face..Is that wrong for me to feel that way?? As long as nothing impacts our Adam in a neg way than its all good.

Anonymous said...

Yup, more great publicity for Adam!

Anonymous said...

I totally agree!!! And Levine is soooo right, WE HAVE GOT AMLs BACK ... NOW AND FOREVER!!!!

Rita said...

As much as I appreciate Levine apologizing, I will still watch the Voice and give him "stink eye" when he's on camera.

Anonymous said...

K, I'm good.
And I like that he understands Adam's fans (us).

Anonymous said...

Cool! I get to be 1st! Didn't comment on the prior thread cuz I missed all this yesterday and STILL haven't watched my DVR. All I have to say is...I guess you don't mess with AL, intentionally or not. Almost feel bad for levine.

I have a feeling that both Adams REALLY know how to play the media game!!

I must say this Levine got on the news by dissing our Adam. Maybe more artist will say dumb things about our Adam if it means they get more air time. After all good or bad news keeps your name out in the public. I think we Glams just did this guy a big favor. JMO

P.A.S.

Anonymous said...

He got to the news because Glamberts got furious at him. Way to go Glamberts..

Anonymous said...

ryan sycrest faae is one of the best parts about this video

Adam Levine now knows what loyal fans Adam Lambert has. This publicity kind of worked out well. WWFM went up on itunes, it trended that night. On one list, can't remember which one, Adam's second album made #1 for most anticipated. Now wish he would go in the voice and sing his face off in front of Levine, but probably won't happen.

laurieb said...

@anon8:03 I know right? I totally see him smirking when he is announcing the news about Levine lol..Im still smiling

Anonymous said...

Great that Levine realized his dissing about Adam Lambert last night. Yes, Glamberts love Adam Lambert and will support him forever. Although, who hasn't heard WWFM. A song that got Grammy Nomination nod.

OT, you guys can vote for Sasha on SYTYCD online website. Just go to the following link and vote for her:

He said he was sorry now let's move on. Even our Adam would want us to do that...forgive and move on. Gee the guy said a dumb thing and really we let him know how we feel about our Adam and boy he probably thought Wow does he have some loyal fans. I told him (Adam Lavine) I was disappointed that he said these things and his fans would do the same thing if Adam (our Adam) said things about you. He never would.. he an angel from God. Just saying!

Anonymous said...

Wasn't Adam Levine a judge for the Grammys? If he was he did not do his job if he did not know who Adam Lambert is. I guess he knows now.

Anonymous said...

free publicity is always a good thing.

Anonymous said...

Levine loves our dedication. Wished he had a fanbase like us, LOL. What are his fans called? Moron5?

Anonymous said...

Hey Levine, our dedication and your BS diss gave you and your stupid show a free publicity. I don't even watch this show. I don't like any of the contestants. AI got younger much better contestants.

Anonymous said...

Well, well, well, very satisfying indeed to see Mr. Levine eat some humble pie! He found out what power Mr. Adam Lambert has with the support of his fandom. It's no joke, Mr. Levine. We support our Adam and we won't go down without a fight. Sorry you had to learn the hard way. I suppose Mr. Levine has learned a lesson in "thinking before you speak".

What gorgeous pictures of our Adam in this clip. Wow, he is so amazingly beautiful. Plus he is the Voice!

I feel much better now.

Adam's fans are protective and anyone that messes with him will learn. Certainly a boost for Adam. Class act as usual. So proud of him. Sophomore effort will show everyone what this man is capable of. FYE was very good but this one, thru the roof!

Anonymous said...

I loved the pictures they used of adam in this. So glad it wasn't that infamous AMA picture. Well I feel much better now, except alot of comments on other blogs are sayin we are crazy. So be it, I'll stay crazy. lol

Anonymous said...

This was just Adam Levine wishing he had fans like us...poor guy. When I first heard about this I thought Levine was joking. Did he actually say he had NEVER heard that song before? He needs to see that Canadian clip of the entire audience, young and old singing with Adam the night he gets an award there...or Pink saying in concert that she wrote a song and found somebody who could do a better job singing it. I thought he was in the music business. Maroon 6 or something...lol.
Well, now he knows.

I used to think Ryan Seacrest wasn`t that great, but compared to the host on the Voice, he`s actually pretty good!

Anonymous said...

Levine put the focus on how he was raked over the coals by Adam`s fans instead of actually apologizing for what he said or admitting he is out of touch, of course, who would admit that I guess.. At least he tried to put a somewhat positive spin on it, but he is still just SO full of himself imo.

Anonymous said...

Haha, yes, we also used to call someone a `maroon` as an insult. And if it was particularly bad, we called them an `ultra maroon` lol

Anonymous said...

Well, an apology on national television! Good on ya.

Anonymous said...

I love the footage they show of AFL at about 0:57 where they are loads of cameras flashing..
Yes, take note, he is important!

Anonymous said...

I thought what Levine said was great, jeesh, some of you people are so hard and unforgiving, it only did good for our Adam.
Lets move on, Adam Lambert doesnt have a mean or nasty bone in his body, lets learn from him.
Peace and Love.
Jadam.

Anonymous said...

I appreciate Adam Levine apologizing. It probably was for damage control, as some irate fans might have taken it out on his team, which wouldn't have been fair to the contestants. What he said was disrespectful and stupid, but hopefully he learned a lesson in class and maturity from our Adam who always tempers reason with humour and is a perfect example of being a professional. Lots of positive publicity for our boy! Proud of how he keeps his cool. I was royally p*****! Feel better now, except hand is sore from voting for Sasha 50 times! funbunn40

I too appreciate his public apology. And Adam tweeted him saying:

Adam Lambert: Apology accepted..Adam Levine: Lesson(s) learned..

Moving on! : ) Again, I am SOOO proud to be a fan of Adam Lambert..he is a gracious and classy man...

Bing said...

Well i believe Adam Mitchel Lambert gained so much from this hoopla having him on the news without even doing anything. Thanks to Nakia, Mr. Levine and all the devoted Glamberts for putting Adam in the limelight again. With this public apology, there is no need for Mr. Levine to wait for Adam's second album LOL. Someone better gift him with FYE and all the other cds of Adam for his entertainment ;D

This apology made me feel better than good.

Adam more blessings will come your way because of the pureness of your heart! Please never ever change because we are learning so much from you and you continue to bring out the best in people.

I was never able to be upset over this. It wasn´t Adam being ignorant making a fool of himself. It was mr Levine. If he was lying or just out of touch with today´s music doesn´t matter. He came out as a jerk either way no matter how many millions he´s sold. Adam is on top as always.

Eva

Anonymous said...

I’m in the minority here, but I honestly don’t think that Adam Lavine intended to insult Adam in any way. He just wanted to complement Nakia’s performance (which was great imo and deserved to be praised) without knowing who had originally performed the song. I don’t think he deserved that bashing followed afterwards. Not everyone is against Adam. Not everyone is a bad and mean person and automatically against Adam if they aren’t familiar with his music. Many musicians prefer not to listen so much other artists’ music, so that they wouldn’t be influenced too much unintentionally by them and can instead create something that is truly inspirited by their own thoughts and life experiences. Especially during their creative process, so that they could offer their fans something that isn’t already out there... Many times feel that glamberts instantly see ugly in people just because they don’t know Adam and his music so well than the fans. Not being familiar with somebody’s work, doesn’t mean that they hold some grudge against these artists and aim to disrespect them.

Ronnie said...

Mr Levine´s eybrows were not honest when he apologized, but never mind. Let´s move on Lionesses!!!! Adam was the King and stays as the King, as always!!!! RRRAUHHHH!! Summer, here we come!!!!

Ronnie said...

@1:32 AM!

It was THE WAY he expressed himself. He was illogical. He bashed "the original singer", but said he never heard the song before. Very illogical, which confirm he lied. He wanted to snap our Adam.

You can be ignorant in a nicer way. Jokes can be nice or nasty.

BUT PLEAAAASEEE!!! Let´s move on @1:32 AM!!!!!
Or I need a whisky, no ice soon!!

Anonymous said...

@ Ronnie

Ditto!

@1.32am yes some people do not know Adam Lambert I get that but he did/does know Adam Lambert and certainly knew our boy had sang this song even if he had not listened to the song. Also he is in music business and should have known this. loads of contradictions!!

I personally think he is a crafty green eyed monster and would not trust him with a barge pole.

Dear Ronnie!

I understand that Levine's comment sounded insulting for many people and it left you wondering, why in earth he would even say that, if he wasn't familiar with the original version. Why say something like that out aloud? But I don’t know… I’ve fallen in love with some songs and then heard later that they are actually cover versions, and I have also thought to myself if the original version can actually beat this amazing cover version that had such a strong impact on me at the very first time I heard it. So for me Levine’s reaction didn’t seem illogical or mean spirited. He saw an amazing performance from a song, he hadn’t ever heard before. He thought Nakia nailed it and delivered it in a way that he self fell in love with that song instantly even without knowing it.
But yes, like I said before, I can understand that it sounded insulting. I myself don’t think that it was meant like that, but instead it was just a reaction to Nakia’s performance, which also in my opinion was really good and emotional. I didn’t mean to start any fight over this. So I’m all good for moving on also. :)

Meanwhile, the voice guy's duet with xtina made it to number one on US itunes....From now on, why not focus on Adam Lambert's music! He is so worth it!

You can call Adam fans crazy I don't care!!!!

I love him to death and Adam Lambert is one of the best indeed!!!!!

Anonymous said...

Adam Levine wasn't bashing Adam. But Adam's fans were bashing him. There's nothing to be proud of when you are being so hateful for someone. Some fans should try to remember why they admire Adam so much. I don't think it was for attacking and insulting other people. This case was a major over reaction.

I bet Adam Levine would like to have a fanbase like us only if he knows how to manage it. Our Adam has been doing excellent with his fans and I think he admire us as the same level as we admire him. We are only showing our tremendous love to Adam and the media pick it up and that's all.

Anonymous said...

330 We're not all ladies here. Adam has male fans, too.

glitzylady said...

@Anon 1:32 AM and Anon 2:37 AM
I don't think Mr. Levine intended to be insulting either, but unfortunately for him, that is how it sounded initially. We all have moments of saying things we realize later came out wrong: we just don't say them on a TV program in front of millions. His comment was just not properly thought out, and I'm sure he meant it as a compliment to Nakia. Since it was announced who the original artist was (Adam Lambert), and then for him to unfortunately say what he did (that the cover version might have been better than the original, even though he said he had not heard Adam sing it, and that the song might have fallen flat) did sound inadvertently like a bit of an faux pas, intended or not, and was just ill-advised and a case of putting your foot in your mouth.Bad choice of words. Its usually a good idea to think before we speak. He was thinking out loud. It is more a hard and embarrassing lesson learned for him than anything else. I don't think he meant to insult anyone, but it was a case of think before you speak. The fans of any other artist would probably have been offended as well.

Adam Lambert is always gracious and a gentleman, and he was about this as well. He has put his foot in his mouth a time or two himself, and we still love him...We do need to forgive Adam Levine for his accidental dissing of Adam ( I do believe it was not intentionally done) and move on...Adam Lambert did get some positive publicity from all this, his song was heard on national TV...which is very very cool. Its all good as far as I'm concerned.

Ronnie said...

I don't think Levine meant as much by it as we make it out to be. He was doing "judge comment" schtick. They all do it. This just came out wrong. I don't think he has anything against our Adam. Just an unfortunate slip for Levine. C'mon, everyone. IT'S OVER NOW. Our over-the-top reactions don't help our Adam at and if fact can hurt him. Move on and make OUR Adam happy.

Cheril said...

Adam Lambert fans had to defend Adam out of the gate. We have fought bigotry, lies, blackballing and exxagerations. The truth is that Adam Lambert is an exceptional singer. The song was announced as Adam Lambert's WWFM. Adam Levine is a smart man. He was told who sang it. Perhaps, like Anthony Weiner, Adam Levine's arrogance and what he thought he could get away with was too much. Blake Shelton's backhand to Adam Lambert was a little more disguised. It's a lesson...The Voice is filled with jealous, manipulative egos (with the exception of CeeLo). I hope his team wins. I'm done with The Voice. Say what you will but American Idol flows much better. I hope that J-Lo, Randy and Steven Tyler sign on for another year.

Anonymous said...

I agree that Levine probably just stuck his foot in his mouth with his comment on the Voice. However, I find I generally don't like him very much. The music of Maroon 5 is pretty good, but Levine strikes me as kind of a jerk. I am interested in other opinions, as it is possible I have misjudged him. I just don't find him very likeable from what I have seen. Thoughts?

Many of Adam Levine's comments to singers this season really paints a picture. He admits jealousy of more "manly" voices because he "sings like a girl".

He is amazed by people that can DANCE and sing while performing as he cannot. His performance of the Queen song was weak and he knows it.

When WWFM was announced they said it was an Adam Lambert song. So for Adam Levine to say he did not know who the singer was - huh?? It was just announced??

Now here is our BB Adam. He is the ultimate performer - a triple threat, looks, insanely talented singer and dancer! Now add charisma, integrity, honesty, modesty, intelligence and class.

In my heart of hearts I think Adam Levine is well aware of Adam Lambert's talents.

Only after being "racked over the coals" by the glamberts did he come to terms with needing to express an apology. Prior to that he had tweeted that he was NOT SORRY.

Adam Lambert is breaking down these "walls" of ignorance one brick at a time. Just by being his honest and impeccable self. SOOO very proud to be a fan for life!!

@4:24 I get highly suspicious these days when someone bashes Adam Lambert fans. I smell bigotry--toward Adam which spills out onto HIS particular fanbase. For Adam to have fans, there must be something wrong with the fans. I find it especially off-putting when warnings come from "on high" to tell Adam fans to STFU or THEY will ruin his career. Tell me exactly how Adam's fans are any different from other fan groups? (You realize ALL fan groups have "crazies" or you have never watched a sporting event.) First thing that pops up, I bet, are all the women over age 30 who comprise a chunk of his fanbase. And--you know how they are all just exactly alike! (NOT). Wow, more bigotry.

Many men--particularly heterosexual men who don't get Adam--spout their bigotry and/or DISMISS him quite freely. Afterall, they MUST be right, because (1) we all know they are more important than the rest of us and (2) nobody tells them any different. But sometimes women are the worst at turning on other women. What are you so afraid of--that we might upset the straight male power base that doesn't accept Adam in the 1st place? who won't put him on TV? or on the radio? That rigid power structure NEEDS upsetting.

I also believe Adam draws a lot of people (all ages, sexualities)who have at some point in their lives been made to feel "different" from others in a bad way. One of the beautiful things I love most about Adam is WE know how he has been made to feel & HE knows what it's like to feel different. This mutual empathy makes him our hero. We want him to succeed, because this beautiful, talented man has had to work twice as hard as mediocre artists to get where he is now. Cheril is so right. To not speak up lets people like Adam Levine, or Cee Lo, or Blake Shelton, or Tracy Morgan assume they can get by with being dismissive, bigoted, and mean. Bullies will bully till they get called out. We champion Adam, because he is our champion. When we are taking up for Adam, all those kids who feel different who follow him may be feeling, vicariously, that there is a whole group of people taking up for them, too--so they don't feel all alone in the world.

PS Adam has a very sophisticated way of calling out people who have slighted him. He can make lemonade out of lemons better than anyone I've ever seen. However, I believe it's very possible that Levine's bizarre behavior may have hurt Adam--felt like the slap in the face it was intended to be--after he had said such nice things about TheVoice. Yet again, making our Adam feel like he's on the outside looking in, or like the odd man out as Eber said, no matter how much he has accomplished or how hard he's tried. It may have hurt him, but Adam has learned to never let on about it. That's why I love it that people have his back. Those who do are showing empathy for Adam.

Once some time ago Adam Lambert was asked about knowing all about artists and their songs, and he said it was his job to know this. Adam Levine has the same job and especially he has a job to know the songs, etc., of the contestants on the show that he is working on and getting paid millions. He has no excuse here (if it truly was inadvertant). "The Voice" management should have a serious discussion with one of their goof off employees !!!

Kentucky Fan:

Adam HIMSELF tweeted, that he is fine and that he is not bothered about Levine and his comments. Why wouldn't you listen to him if he specifically informs his fans not to go after anyone? Why is there a need to treat him like he is this little child, who doesn't know when he is bullied and when not, and needs to be protected? If he himself needs to calm his fans because he thinks that they will go after some other artist for his silly comments, I will respect his wishes and back off and leave those other artists alone! You are over analyzing Adam and I think that's really patronizing... Adam is a grown up man and I as fan will respect his wishes to back off, if he himself doesn't feel the need to bash other artists. Everything he does, everything he writes and talks about, tells me, that he doesn't like people bashing other people in his name!

Anonymous said...

Glad Levine apologized because i want to vote for Javier Colon - and felt guilty doing it because he is on Levine's team. Now all is good. Glamberts rule.

Anonymous said...

You notice that E news did NOT say it was a mistake, they said flat-out, "Adam Levine dropped a big dis."

You KNOW Ryan Seacrest still loves him some Adam Lambert. :)

Anonymous said...

@ 12.37 Exactly! That is exactly, what I am reading from these comments. People are “sensing” Adam’s sadness even though he tweets something wholly different. People are seeing bigotry everywhere, even though these persons themselves say, that they are not against Adam and Adam writes that he is not insulted. People say that Adam is their role model, but then they do the opposite what Adam self does. Everybody is just ignoring his wishes and make excuses for themselves to get angry about something that doesn’t even bother Adam himself. I love the fact that Adam respects other artists and that’s why I try to do the same.

Anonymous said...

Here is the catch-22. Adam had every right to be offended by the remarks Adam Levine made on national TV no less! Yet, Adam being a class act and gentleman chooses to rise above it and reponds with an intelligent answer - while still making his point by injecting humor.

That is why he ended his tweet telling Adam L. to watch out for him and his next album.

Now here is where the catch 22 comes in. IF we as our BB Adam fans had not called Adam L. OUT -about this then an APOLOGY would never have happened. I for one, am overjoyed that this drew attention from ENEWS and other media outlets.

WRONG is WRONG - plain and simple. Adam does not deserve this kind of treatment - he has worked far too hard. He is too kind of a person and he deserved this apology.

IMHO --

"Adam had every right to be offended by the remarks Adam Levine made on national TV no less!"

BUT he said he wasn't offended and decided to joke about it instead. So why are you getting so personally involved with it, when Adam chooses not to?

Anonymous said...

The point I am making is that Adam has a right. I acknowledged that he chose to joke about it. Yet, I still hold my ground as a fan that he deserved this apology. Again, IMHO.

HeartAdam4Ever

Anonymous said...

I was not going to add this in my last remark - but then again, why not.

Maybe this ONE apology Adam received was not asked for by him or expected. He did not make a big deal out of Adam Levine's remarks because he has had to deal with so much adversity already in his lifetime and has learned to handle it with humor.

BUT maybe just maybe this ONE apology Adam did receive - will serve him well. Because, frankly he deserves to be respected.

Because Adam is always gracious and humble. Imagine the uproar among haters if he had complained in any way or said F**k you like Ceelo did to that reviewer. He is smarter than that. It was Mr Levine who embarresed himself not Adam´s fans. I´m also fed up with this "Adam´s fans are ruining his career". BS!
Without passionate fans no career. It´s the same for all artists. And there are crays in every fandom.
Eva

Anonymous said...

@ Eva
I am NOT saying that Adam’s fans are ruining his career. That was an assumption from Kentucky Fan, not my opinion. There is nothing wrong to be a passionate fan. What I am saying is, that sometimes it would be nice if we fans would be actually capable to listen to Adam and respect his wishes what it comes to responding to other artist’s comments. I found it very ironic that people say Adam is a role model to them, but if Adam wishes everybody to calm down, the fans do the opposite. And even if you choose not to calm down and you choose to make your opinion clear to the artist that has offended in your opinion Adam, you can do it in Adam’s way; with humor and respect. Those tweets that Levine got from Adam’s fans were not like the tweets Adam would self ever written.

Anonymous said...

Anons @2:45,3:15 and 4:45, thank you for your comments. I'm a big fan of Adam's, but I'm not his mother, nor can I read his mind and know his "sadness". Adam handled this situation brilliantly, without my "help".
I don't do twitter, so I don't know what was in the tweets to Levine from some fans. I just hope it wasn't anything that would embarrass Adam.

Anonymous said...

I don't care what other fans comment here. In my opinion, Adam is human and not an object okay??? He has feelings too and I know in my heart that it was disrespectful of Mr. Lavine to say those comments indeed. As we always see with Adam the class and grace with others. Everything about Adam affects the fans!!!! I can't blame the fans protecting their Rock God...

Anonymous said...

It is not the first time Adam been dissed by whoever in the media since day1. I don't get upset if they criticize his fashion or "lifestyle" because everyone has their own opinion. After this Mr Lavine`s comment, I felt very angry because someone dissed Adam`s singing ability so publicly. If I am on tweeter, I would sent him a HUGE finger.

@anon 6.18
you don't have to 'do' twitter to read what is being said. Just google twitter.com, put Adam lambert in the search box (or Adam Levine if you wanted to read the tweets to him) and press enter, you can then read all the tweets about Adam (or whoever).
All the tweets I read about this Adamgate were , seriously you haven't heard WWFM by Adam, well here's a link, or how can you say Nakia was better if you haven't heard the original kind of thing. And many were done tongue in cheek.
I'm fed up hearing of Adams crazy fans, and how we're runing his career etc, when most of the tweets were very normal and no different to what anyones fans would do in the same case. i.e. Kris Allens the other week when Adam Levine basically did the same thing to KA when someone covered Heartless on the voice. That didn't get blown up as much because the media didn't pick up on it, but the fans did.

Anonymous said...

@4:53PM
The "fans ruining career" thing wasn´t aimed at you. I was agreeing with Kentucky fan.
I´m with you on that fans could handle this sort of thing with humor and what I´ve seen that was much the case. Some tweets were very funny and well thought of. I´m sure there were nasty ones too but crays are everywhere, and I´m sure if you examine Adam´s twitter feed you´ll see worse, written by fans of someone else.
About Heartless and Kris Allen. Kris opened for Maroon5 tour and Levine hadn´t heard that song, so what is that man doing judging on a talent show? Is he interested in music or other artists at all?

Eva

Anonymous said...

@ Eva

Well that’s nice to hear if the majority of those tweets were not insulting. Maybe I then unfortunately managed to see only those tweets, which went over board and left a nasty taste in my mouth…
