It was lovely....but I like the up tempo dances better. They have several really good dancers.
My age is showing, I like the Broadway type choreography that Tice does.

Jess always gets compared to Astaire or Gene Kelly. The Fly Me To The Moon was definitely NY stageworthy. His partner was as lovely as Cyd Charisse! See, I said my age was showing!..JAK

Good dance, but have nothing to compare it with as haven't seen the others. Last weeks was better though. And so far she doesn't seem to have had to dance out of her genre. Hope she safe.
And Kats hair, sometimes she looks so gorgeous, other times so awful. Tonight was an awful night, that style doesn't suit her.

You and my husband would get along, boy does he like old movies. He was commenting on Cyd Charisse figure and legs tonight. His mom was in many Italian films, so was hubby, only hubby was a bit player. My mom-in-law made her living as an acctress.

Sasha is very graceful yet powerful dancer. She is very good. Wish her continued success.

Beautiful dance - Sasha is just amazing to watch! Her strength and control are impressive, but she's always so fluid. Since I don't watch the show, does anyone know what the judges said?

BC Jean spoke about what a great guy Adam is in person and also gave a hint about the music they wrote together:

“I can’t give a sneak peak of the music we worked on together, but I can tell you there is one song that we both think is ‘golden’ – his words were ‘divine and golden.’ I’m stealing them from him. Because it is a really cool song. It’s kind of like a Romeo and Juliet type song.”

As @daydreamin reported above, Adam will be appearing at the VH1 Do Something Awards on Aug. 18th..These are tweets from a few hours ago confirming that information, the first two from DoSomething, the last one from a fan that was re-tweeted by DoSomething...:Sooooo, does this mean Adam is getting an award???? Hoping so! He definitely deserves it..but guess we have to wait until August to find out!

Am I reading it wrong or did the @dosomething tweet say that VOTES are IMPORTANT ... this is what I have been trying to tell everyone & all I get are snarky remarks. Anyway ... I watched SYTYCD last night ... VOTED online for Sasha as many times as allowed ... but I must say this ... VH1 DoSomething Awards Show on VH1 will be broadcast on TV on August 18th at 9 Eastern/Mountain/Pacific Time, 8 Central time...

According to the website, ***Nominations for the Awards are now closed***.

This info below is for ***Voting on Those Nominated***: So this is important..It is a televised event and it would be REALLY nice for Adam to win an award. He is truly deserving to win something. I think that if you are only going to vote on one thing, this is it.....You can't vote yet apparently but can start on July 11th...

From what I am understanding about the Awards show, the awards are on two levels: Young people from all walks of life are nominated for the DoSomething award of $10,000 grant for their "cause".

There is also a Celebrity Award component, which is what we would be voting on for Adam...It isn't entirely clear to me by looking at the website, but I think that's what will happen. Adam has been announced to be one of the attendee's butI have not heard about him performing..yet. It will be filmed on the 14th of Aug...4 days before it's televised on Aug. 18th.

And VH1 August 10th for Adam's "Behind the Music" ...busy August and lots of Adam watching for us!

On the VH1 DoSomething info above: They do have celebs performing but no word about Adam, other than he'll be there...Guessing its the usual "who has a new single/album out" who will be performing...Dare we hope??????? Not that we want to rush him, but just thinking it might be a good time for release of his new single. Probably too early...but if he feels so inclined... I'm willing to listen!! ; )))

I really enjoyed this dance by Sasha and Alexander. It was interesting to have her appear from inside the piano and return there at the end. Their hands touching and releasing at the end were very sensual. Loved the entire performance. I hope Sasha wins this. Seems like she is a favorite. I saw her live at a number of GNT concerts, but I guess I never paid her direct attention, as my eyes were fixed on Adam,...but now that she has my full attention, I can see that she is a VERY talented young woman.
