What a trip down memory lane from season 8 with Adam. I remember every single one of these performances as if they were yesterday. He had me at the first note and I was hooked. I couldn't wait for AI each week just to see Adam, what he would sing, what he would wear. Adam Lambert set the bar so high during season 8 that no one else since then has come close to achieving his level of talent and excellence. I don't know which song I liked the best; they were all exceptional in their own way. I am so glad to have this compilation of songs and intend to save it to watch during those dry spells when there is no new Adam picture or news. Adam Lambert is the best vocal talent in the music industry today and in a league of his own. These clips of his AI performances certainly show the beginnings of the making of a superstar. WOW!

This was awesome to see again and reaffirms why I LOVE this man! Absolutely one of THE finest singers/entertainers of our time!! Amazing to listen to and stunning to watch. Enough said.

I agree that it is great to have this compilation of Adam's AI season 8 performances. I think that all of us who watched the show each week just knew there was something special about this man. And even though he did not win, it did not matter. The audience now knew who Adam Lambert was and those of us who were early fans became fans for life. We have seen him through the AI tour, the release of his first album, tv appearances, GNT, the dvd of his tour, other concerts and appearances, print articles and interviews and everything in between. We have supported him through the negative reviews and articles, pictures and never waivered in our love of this man and his music. He is a consummate performer with amazing stage presence. In addition, he is smart, articulate, self-confident, witty and humble. Looking forward to the next phase of his career with the release of his second album and the first single from it. And I am so glad to know that I was there, along with so many others, at the very beginning of his climb to fame and success in the music industry today.

Thank you! Thank You! Thank You! God I just love this man!!! Fantastic to have all this streamed together. Yes, I am one of those that found him after American Idol, but have never missed an episode since. Come on, Adam F******g Lambert I missed and I am still waiting for even a semblance of his talent to show up on that show again. Cannot wait for his next CD.

I will never forget these. I will never forget Paula's reaction (a puddle of Abdul as Ryan Seacrest put it) when Adam sang "If I Can't Have You". Such emotional stirrings...

Thank goodness he was theatrical! What an amazing showman. It's too bad he couldn't have put his own spin on "No Boundaries", but that was Kara Deguardi's baby. And what more can I say about "We are the Champions" and "Beth"? Absolute perfection!

I never tire of watching these Idol clips. Adam is so versatile. I love each of his performances, but Beth simply takes my breath away.

Almost everybody knew that his is gay. I knew it when I saw Adam first time n the stage! So what?! his name was in the air he was invited in the biggest show in US!
After AMA Adam had to start everything from the scratch with very bad work history:(

Don't really understand what you're saying 10:55. It's all good to go back and remember why we all became captivated by this gorgeous talent. He has gotten better and vocally doesn't push his voice that hard. Seems as if he developed better technique. Just as he changed up his style on Idol, I believe we will see an entirely different facet of Adam. As an artist, he will keep growing and evolving. He may go a completely different direction at some point.

He has so much pressure on him from his fans, their expectations and his expectations. He doesn't want to stumble and he has expressed the desire to be real and true to his art. I am glad he is taking a hiatus from twitter, and other social media. He needs to recharge and enjoy his life.

Nothing about this is sad. It's beautiful. Talent will surface. We Adam fans basically don't give a rat's ass about what others think, particularly the homophobes who are out there looking for any reason to criticize. We will love his music and buy it and play it.

We cannot as Adam's fans simply chop off the AI/8 memories/past which we love to reminisce once in a while because that is the beginning of our journey with Adam; without which this Adam fandom may not have as much impact. So Adam's future will always be intimately linked with his past.

I was glad that the performance at AMA made him the WORLD WIDE SUPERSTAR INDEED!!!!! The fans showed Adam how much we respect and love him more after that night!!!! We fought to get what he is right now !!!!! We will not stop until the people in the Music Industry realize how Adam conquer the world with his unbelievable talent.

It's worth it folks and no hesitation indeed!!!

Love this. Yes, Season 8 was when a star was born. Glamnation was when an international star was born. Can't wait for his next album!

@10:55- I really don't understand what you are saying either. WE need the past memories to relive those special performances of Adam from season 8 Of AI. He started to build his fanbase from those shows and we were there at the very beginning of his musical journey to fame and success. WE have seen Adam change, grow, mature, etc. into an international superstar. I would not have missed a minute of it and thanks to these clips from AI, all his performances will be there for us to reminisce and remember Adam in the early stages of his career. Performing with KISS and QUEEN were iconic moments in tv history. I could watch those over and over and marvel at his magnificent performances that night. WE are all looking forward to his second album with much anticipation and hoping that the future will bring him all the fame and success he so rightfully deserves.

Loved that fix. It gets you pumped up and conjures up memories of the unbelievable high of watching the best contestant EVER to grace the American Idol stage.

I thought he was fantastic in B & W, & I was blown away when he sang ROF!
"Beth" was perfect ! "ACIGC", beyond perfection, nobody could deny what a magical voice Adam had! & "Beth" was absolutely incredible! All of Adam's performances were magnificent !!

AL is a part of what I love about Adam. Yes, he has moved on, but these weeks of watching him will never fade for me. Of course, had to save the entire thing. Thanks a lot for the trip down memory lane. Haven't had a chance to visit these memories lately.

Adam was then outstanding on Idol and now he is unique in the music scene.

Saw him twice on tour and it was not enough. Big talent, BIG! I love this man, "he is simply the best".

Adam's voice on "We Are the Champions" was the best rock voice ever. I hope that on his new album, he does some rock songs with that tone.

This was SO enjoyable to watch -- brought back so many wonderful moments of S8. I just can't get into watching Idol anymore after this season. Adam really did that to me. He's the most talented individual right now and I hope, and I have a feeling it will come true, he will be that ICON that Paula said he'd be. I cannot get enough of him and and his beautiful voice. I saw GNT three times and was blown away each time. So looking forward to this next music chapter of his life. I'm a Glambert and so proud of it.

There has NEVER been an AI contestant who shook up AI as much as Adam. NONE. His talent is so far beyond anyone else it's amazing. I LOVE these videos. The memories will be with me forever!

Great video, although I've watched Idol the last 2 seasons, I haven't really cared whose won or whose doing what (althought A10 was much better than A9). Loved the whole look of Beth, but they left out what I think is my favourite performance, the final Madworld, in the long coat with 'that look' to camera at the end...

WOW!!! a million WOWS. I love this guy so much. I can hardly wait for his new album. I bought every one of his Itunes studio versions and videos from Idol besides his FYE songs and videos and I watch them constantly. I was so lucky to have seen him twice last summer. Seeing him live is indescribable. I hope he goes on tour with the new album.

I have been watching AI8 on U tube to keep me from loosing my mind during this dry spell. He was the one and only Idol that ever made me feel this way. He is perfection at best but after 2 years of watching him and realizing the beautiful human being that was hidden within that glamorous,handsome man and that admiration has deepened.
