OT. Sorry if this was already posted but Suz256 attended Adele's concert Thursday night in San Diego. This is one of the many videos posted by Suz256 on the "On the Meaning of Adam lambert" site.

Alex was not bad but he is not Adam. I thought his acting was pretty good.

Some parts were good, some not so good. Omg the screaming at 2:08..

It was a good try. I cringed in a few places.

Adam is so much better!!Nobody can sing this like him.This Alex sang the last part the best-the other parts,not so well.JMO

Did anyone notice the drum beat at the end was the same beat Adam used when introducing his dancers? But, it is a real compliment to Adam.

That is the drum beat in the Fever video.

I thought he was very good, of course I love the song. I thought he did it justice. Adam has had much more training than the average singer. I never compare Adam to any one else, he is in a league of his own. But this guy is good. the music overpowered his voice.

I always like to listen and to watch when somebody performs Adam's song.
However, it was wrong choice for Alex.
I think "Soaked" is only song which nobody can sing except Adam. I have to correct myself. NOBODY HAS TO SING this song, except Adam.

Great that Adam is writing all the songs on the next album. Then when other people sing them, he'll get some money for it.

My opinion is that Alex is a fine young singer & I like hearing other singers sing ADAM's songs ... but ... NO ONE can sing *SOAKED* like ADAM ... not even Matt Bellamy. It is ADAM's song ... he OWNS it ... ADAM puts so much FEELING into SOAKED that I cry everytime I hear ADAM sing it. While I like that Alex sang it ... I felt no visceral response like I do when our ADAM sings ... "searching for LOVE" ... chills & goosebumps every time!! JMO

I voted for Adam as best reality star..that means from AI..the video of him singing "Crying" was so amazing!So will some of you vote there?( even tho you won't vote for AIOTM?) IMO the only one who sang Adam's song really good was this one girl, from Hungry or Norway, performing WWFM. Alex is just alright. He has that sheepish sound when he sings. He doesn't have effortless range. He forces himself to sing high notes, IMO. But he likes Adam, that's for sure. He's got numerous videos singing Adam's songs. Good like to him! He might become famous in Spain!

not bad, not bad. Dam that is a beautiful song.

It was a nice compliment to Adam , but no one can do the song like Adam. He is effortless when he goes to the high notes, this guy tried but it looked kind of painful. Adam is in a league of his own!!!

Damn, makes you appreciate Adam. Breath control, phrasing, vibrato just not there. Adam is amazingly talented, and his voice is so perfectly trained. He has worked very hard to get the sound he beautifully creates. People should stop trying to copy him. If they want to use the song, they should try to make it their own as Adam did on Idol.

I appreciate the fact this guy wants to be Adam, but he is not and never will. It was a "nice try"..it is a beutiful song, and he sang it better than I ever would, but his singing just makes me miss Adam that much more. Adam is an original with incredible talent and charisma. He has the "it" factor. This guy doesn't. I guess if Adam never existed than we might think this was an okay performance. Once you experience Adam then there's nothing that compares.

I would think that if Adam were at Aedel's concert in SD that Adam or Adele would have tweeted something about it and/or someone would have taken a pic of him there and posted it on the internet.

@9:11~ I don't necessarily think this guy wants to be Adam, but he certainly seems to appreciate Adam's work. It's an honor to Adam that people want to cover his work, whether we think they do a good job or not.

The accompanying music drowned Alex out when he was singing the quiet notes, and he screamed the loud notes. He hasn't got a bad voice but he's not in the same league as "our" Adam.

Don't like sounding like a snob! I mean he did OK but I just dont think other people singing his songs do as good of a job. His emotions to the songs is what hooked us in the first place. Only Adam can add the particular emotion.

I am not an expert on the technicalities of singing. I just know what I enjoy. I looked up vibrato and found this youtube video that explains it really well and provides examples. Quite interesting for me...an untrained singer.

Adam has had a lot of vocal training. Others may not have had as much, so when they attempt to do an Adam song they just don't compare. But at least they are singing Adam's songs and that's a huge compliment to Adam!

Really enjoyed Alex singing Soaked!! Good voice! Also listened to his Fever video. Fun! Again a wonderful compliment to Adam to hear his songs being used the world over. The Fever video said Barcelona so I'm assuming Alex is a Spaniard and thus not singing in his primary language. ... Adamluv

Alex wasn't too bad but nothing like Adam. Adam has that it factor that makes every song he sings special and unique. He sings with such emotion and I love that about him. But it's nice to see others singing his songs -- a great compliment to Adam. But, no one will ever be in his league.
