First have to say wasn't much of a Kris Allen fan but was curious of what he would say in this interview... Reminded me why I feel things went the way they did but thats over now moving on. Was cool to see more stuff on Adam. Now got to patiently wait for next album. In the meantime will have to listen to Voodoo some more!!

I'm so glad they provided us with these clips. They are so interesting. Guess there was just too much information to get into the 1 hr BTM. Adam was presented in a very positive way. Should be a boost to his career.

I am not sure whether I have seen Adam more beautiful and honest then when he talks about kissing girls a a teenager which he explains from a deep need to fit in. Who doesn't remember these days? His vulnerability is so palpable.
Also loved the story of the IIHY video, this again confirms for me that Adam is on such solid ground in his life, he knows what truly matters.

Yes this should boost his career, amp up the anticipation for his new album, sell a bunch more of FYE albums and voila the days of change are here to stay!!!

Stupid Dish! Got to see first half hour, than it rained, wiped out TV. I hate having the Dish for TV. Cable is much better. My hubby picked it, as I was not here. It sure isn't worth the money we pay for it. I will have to try and see it when it is on again. I know you all will know how frustrated I was, and really angry. I had been waiting for this program of Adam. Glad they have some clips here, but it is not enough, I tell you not enough...GRRRR.

But what I did see, he looked sooooo good. I am so happy he decided to try out for Idol. I can't imagine Adam not being part of my life. He has kept my bum ticker, ticking.

I haven't seen the special yet but if these clips are anything to go by, it must be an awesome program and Adam looks so HANDSOME!! I love it when he doesn't wear much eye makeup - his eyes look bigger and more beautiful than ever.

I can't believe Adam forgot Brian May's name - DOH! - Brian May, who sang Adam's praises to the media when "Time For Miracles" was recorded for that movie soundtrack...Brian May, guitarist for Queen, a band he idolized and got to sing with...Brian May, who is known the world over...! Oh well, shit happens. Adam has a brilliant mind and, just like us "normal" ppl (ha, ha!), is allowed a little brain fade from time-to-time. :) God knows his beautiful brain has been working overtime lately, with his new album, etc... Plus, being in love messes you up something fierce.

I haven't seen the show either, and sure hope it's posted here, as I don't get VH1...so chewing my fingernails in anticipation! Could've done with a little less of the "soft focus" lens on Adam, but yes, indeed, he looks absoultely stunning!

@10:38 I know Coldplay lead singer Chris Martin, MUSE lead singer Mattew Bellamy, U2 lead singer Buno, One Republic lead singer Ryan Tedder, Maroon 5 lead singer Adam Levine, etc. etc. but I don't know their band members' names. Majority of people know band names and the lead singers but don't know band members' names. Not a big deal. Adam is young. Most young kids his age don't know who even Freddi Mercury is. Not a big deal. Older fans should just not dwell on this little mistake. Let it go and talk about if you liked BTM on your T.V.!

There was a clip of Adam in high school wearing a dark suit, white shirt with his light hair,singing with such a powerful voice.Wondering if it was from the Jazz Band. Would love to see the whole video and wish there were videos of all his childhood performances. He was such a cute little kid and now he's a cute big kid! VH1 did a good job, considering they only had one hour to cover so much. funbunn40

Adam is a huge Freddie Mercury fan, has been for many years and no doubt knows Brian Mays' name. He worked with the 2 remaining Queen members for the AIS8 Finale and was likely well aware of them long before that. He just momentarily forgot it, just like we all forget things that we know perfectly well, from time to time especially in times of stress, which this interview undoubtedly was for Adam, even though he was obviously enjoying it as well.

So @Adam Fix 10:38 PM was most definitely not being critical about Adam's not being able to come up with his name, but was, I'm sure, just teasing him good-naturedly. Brian May is well known to Adam. Besides, how do you know @Adam Fix is an "older" fan ? I know her personally and I can assure you she doesn't fit the description of and older fan. ; ) And Adam is almost 30, and not a "young kid" really.

I'm not being critical of you and I completely understand you wanting to defend Adam; I do it all the time! But in this case, I just wanted to defend my friend @Adam Fix, and to explain that her light-hearted teasing was meant to be funny, and not taken seriously. She is a truly supportive and VERY enthusiastic fan of Adam! Trust me, I know! She and I and some others from 24/7 flailed away together at Adam's last GNT concert at Club Nokia in LA. And wow was that fun! Waiting somewhat impatiently for Adam's new album and his future tour...so we can flail once again!

I wish I had been in on editing the BTM final product. I would have included these clips and left out stale replay of AMA sh**. These clips were interesting and revealing. Love him.

I laughed when he forgot Brian May´s name. Oh, sweet Adam! He´s a human being like everyone else. This happens to me all the time and I´m not "an old fan". I´m sure it even happens to Brian May.

11:19 I don't think Adam was playing the roll of a rock star when he was in high school. He was simply trying to fit in where he was a square peg amongst all those round holes.

@Pas I feel your pain! right when adam was supposed to come on here in fla- big lightening storm hit and blew out my cable, I was like NO NO not now- somehow by my lucky stars my tivo picked it up and watched an hour later!! I was on the verge of a panic attack lol

High school making out with girls ? What about
after high school, he was quoted as saying he has made out with many a girl way beyond his high school days. Had oral sex as well. Had a make out session with Kesha a year ago. It feels good, he needs no validation now, he plains loves it. Sometimes one wonders about him.

I don't wonder. He's gay gay gay. Kissing Kesha was a drunken kick. Close your eyes and you only feel the kiss, as Adam said "kissing's fun"!

I don't wonder either, he's gay. He said that he missed "the one extra thing" that girls don't have... Sometimes I feel like people don't always want to accept the fact that he truly is gay and that's almost disrespectful. He has said in many interviews that women are pretty, but he is sexually attracted to men. He lives his life openly with his bf, a good role model for any teenager struggling with identity questions.

I thought it was a very poignant moment when Adam talked about making out with girls and wanting to feel attractive and desirable. It brought a tear to my eye. Isn't acceptance what we all want? We've all been through it and it's difficult. He's so incredibly honest about how he feels about such personal things, and he doesn't cheapen it or make it seem silly or dopey. He makes such a human connection. He never sounds stupid or low-class. He is so gutsy and true, it's amazing.
