I think there are too many "co-wrriters" for Adam's new album! Did Adam write any song by himself without any co-writers?

Anonymous said...

What do we really know about "too many co-writers"?

@anon 9:33pm from anon 9:25PM Whatever, anyway, I will buy few copies of Adam's new album.

Do you have any problem with this note, darling?

I wish all writers cut the crap and stop exaggerating.Adam fans are most from AI,which he lost most of them from AMAS,he's doing pop, great?

I don't care if Adam doesn't write his songs or if co-writes them. I like his vocals and will continue to buy his albums and attend his concerts.

We listen to his voice that's the most important to me!!! The voice that can blow your mind.....

@1:09 I actually became an Adam fan more from YouTubes on the internet, once he captured my attention on American Idol. I generally work too late to get home in time to watch AI, which is a show I generally dislike (haven't watched it at all past 2 years). I recall hearing Adam for the first time like it was yesterday. I was getting something out of the refrigerator in the kitchen for dinner, had AI on, and getting ready to chill for the day when I heard this incredible voice from the TV in the other room singing Can't Get No Satisfaction. I said to myself Who is that?!! That doesn't sound like somebody who would be on American Idol!!

I tried to catch Adam's performances when I could and YouTubed them when I missed them on TV. I YouTubed him further out of curiosity. When I found Brigadoon--sung at age 22, I was stunned at that perfect tenor voice that gave me chills to the bone--the voice he had to work with was astounding. Then I found My Conviction and realized Adam was a countertenor! Not only that, the sophisticated nuances he put into that song at only 21 years of age simply blew me away. I was hooked. He's brilliant.

I YouTubed his Upright Cabaret performances. I've gone back and YouTubed all of his Idol performances (to include the group dance numbers) after the fact & love every single one. When I 1st saw the YouTube of his Zodiac performance of A Change Is Gonna Come I cried.

I live by music. It is on around me 24/7, even when I'm working as a psychologist in my sessions--mostly classical and a lot of jazz. I love authentic rock and especially blues. I'm picky.

The only genre I'm not real keen on (other than I hate rap)is pop--generally too trite or superficial for me. I hate that a talent like Adam's could be wasted on junk. What I'm hoping Adam can do is criss-cross all genres doing things his way to free up music from these rigid formulaic pigeon holes the industry has forced it into. If Adam can be compared to someone else, it might be Freddie Mercury.

And what I think he excells at (and lives for) is stage performance. I saw 4 of his GNT shows live. I know this sounds crazy, but I believe I would rank Adam's show as more thrillng for me than Phantom of the Opera. I love Adam's sophistication & camp. I so hope he never dummies down to please the masses.

ALL artists these days work in collaboration with many others (musicians, producers, writers, singers, etc). That's the way it's done in 2011. The times have changed, people. Whenever I read that Adam is collaborating with others from New York, Los Angeles, London and Australia, I'm ecstatic because it shows that he is well received in the music world.

P.S. Carrie Underwood doesn't write most of her songs and she made $20 M last year! (just an example, people)

@Kentucky Fan, as I said in an earlier thread, I'm still waiting for the right person to come along & produce something for that voice of Adam's. I hear him sing& I know he wants to sing what he wants, his ACIGC, absolutely took my breath away from AI . Omg! What a frakking voice! My god! Will somebody please get this man a star on the star sidewalk of fame in Hollywood!! In the music hall of fame! In the fame hall of fame!! Whatever. A wax figure! Adam deserves to be recognized by all & everyone! I just love Adam so much, I want Adam to have the world! Is that too much to ask for? Mwah!! K

Take a deep breath, be calm......

Maybe if you get some rain in Oklahoma you can cool down just a teensy bit. Not too much......
just to a comfortable simmer.....<3...JAK

Really don't think these song writers and producers have to say anything about the artists they are working with. The fact that so many have been supportive of Adam's new music makes us all the more excited. I don't follow other sites so don't know what is being said about other artists.

Now how in the world could a psychologist sound crazy???

Just askin

Oh, they can sound as crazy as the rest of us, they can just diagnose it quicker!

I personally thought Phantom of the Opera sucked!

Phantom of the Opera = Only one memorable song.

@JAK & @Sister, I'm so glad your on Team Adam!
When you think about someone that is very special, like your loved ones or your spiritual leader such as my God or Jesus, but anyone , & you have so much love in your heart for that special someone , it takes you to a level of emotions , that you just to cry , or a big ol smile comes upon your face, goosebumps
on your arms, or chills inside, it's love. I cry for my child because I love her so much, I'm just so emotional, but you see what I'm saying.
To this day, I can still see Adam on that AI stage , I remember all the excitement I felt when he performed. & when Adam sang ACIGC, I thought this man cannot be denied......& Adam was denied, it's almost like saying love doesn't exist. Love does exist , in our hearts, & Adam exists , his passion, the beautiful mind that created this Adam Lambert who we all know today!' no matter how many years later & some may have forgotten, a man was denied , his heart was denied. Adam is so positive , he looks on the bright side & holds his head high !
Adam shall not & never be denied again, & no matter what, I will always have Adam in my heart, cause my love for him makes me cry.
Adam is one man in this world who will shine above the rest!

Thanks Mwah!!K

It's good to be on Team Adam with so many other loving and heart centered people.

It seems right now, "someone" has started to pose as me, using my tag name. I think you will know what posts are mine and which are not. Just know I think your words were beautiful. :)

I second @Jadam's Amen!

I don't care who writes Adam's songs, really. It's great that he's doing some writing and collaborating. Some of the most talented and successful singers do not write their own songs. Adam's voice is so superior, that I will listen whether it's his own writing or not.
