Kings of Leon said it wasn't cause they were too hot .The lead guy is having voice issues and they had to cancel the rest of their US tour. Maybe Neil should wait before he posts sometimes.

Please Neil probably knows that but he is making a point. Adam probably had voice issues sometimes actually we know he did. There was also sound issues and lots of things. That is the point Neil is making. I guess he saw everything first hand. Voice issues is very vague also isn't it. I think Neil just wanted people to realize how professional Adam, band and dancers were as he was there first hand.

Neil, I'd like to hear Outlaws of Love with piano accompaniment...where are you and are you busy? You can play like an angel, I've heard you and know you could do the job! How about it, just one performance of The Lambert Brothers?

Well Neil, You're totally right about Adam being a trooper. However, if you read further into the KOL situation, it wasn't about the heat. They are having major internal issues. Personality conflicts. You know the bit.

Adam put up with so much shit from horrible venues like the hot nightmare in Lubbock to the one in Denver and other places that had horrible sound systems. I could go on about the hate he encountered, but ya'll know the story. He is professional, and that's the bottomline. He's not some primadonna with expectations. He just does his job and does it magnificently

Neil loves his brother and I think this is really all he is saying. Showing support for his amazing brother and band/dancers. I thought it was great to see brotherly love and that is really all that was about. It was all good. Plus, always loved that pic of them.

Saw Glamnation in Vegas and Hawaii. Adam is a true professional that's plain to see. He will always go above and beyond for his fans that is why he is loved so much. The same goes for his band and dancers. You can tell they all love what they are doing. Thanks Neil for being a great brother to Adam and supporting him. Love that you tell it like it is.

I believe Neil was referring to them (KOL) as wimps...and nothing more. Whether that was a fair assessment of them or not (describing KOL as wimps..and I would assume they are not actually wimps..from the sound of it), I would guarantee you he was not making a disparaging remark about gays. That would be the last thing he would do, don't you think??? "Wimp" doesn't equate "Gay". It just means "wimp"! In Wikipedia "wimp" is defined as "a cowardly or unadventurous individual". No mention of "gay".

I think Neil is very proud of Adam for the hard work that he put into his GNT concert schedule, all of those many dates so close together, in all kinds of often overheated venues, including the Seattle Showbox Sodo where I attended my first GNT..where it was about 90 degrees, at least, inside..for hours..And of course there was the converted slaughterhouse.. and Adam was sick a few times with a cold, and went on with the show. So its just brotherly pride being expressed at the expense of the Kings of Leon.

I almost forgot to mention that pussy is another word for wimp, with the same definition, as in a weak or cowardly person..got going on the wimp thing, and forgot to equate it with the definition of pussy..(at least in this ...um...er....context!!) Geez, I never thought I'd be using that word in a sentence here..!!!!! Heck, now it might be MY turn to be deleted!!!!

@9.14 as to the lead singer having voice issues, reading further reports on it, that seems to be 'code' for, he's got too big for his boots, and has fallen out with his bandmates (brothers), and stormed off. Whatever, it wasn't very professional the way he acted. There were a couple of times when Adam was on tour he was sick, but he still performed at 100%, and the one time he had to rush off stage, he came back on at the end of the song, and carried on.

The band explained that there are internal issues and that Caleb needs to sort himself out.
What I love about Adam is that he doesn't go and drink bears before he performs. He roars out, ready to rock! He is SO professional! Clear as a bell!

Adam's answer to "who would you like to be stuck in an elevator" was Neil. Can't blame him for being SO proud of his brother.

Kings of Leon need to reassess as so many famous people do. Good luck to them!

And by the way, I am a fan of the Kings of Leon and hope they get things sorted out. It would be a shame if they couldn't work things out. To cancel a tour..ouch!

And as I recall, Adam commented way back in 2009, when asked what his "entrance to a venue" song would be right then or what he might want people to think of when they think of him (a theme song), when at the time he was still putting together his first album (I think..its a little fuzzy and so long ago now!) , that song would be Kings of Leon "Sex on Fire". I think he's lived up to that pretty well, wouldn't you say??!!! Because HE JUST IS...

When you think of Adam doing 116 concerts worldwide with all the travel, interviews and being exposed to so many people, he really paced himself well and didn't miss a performance. He also gave 150% with so much energy, even the few times he was sick, it was unnoticeable. Imagine wearing that purple suede coat, leather pants and hat, dancing and moving in unbearable heat with hot lights , singing at the top of your lungs, then going to arctic cold, jet lagged and giving it your all. No wonder Neil is so proud. He was there every step of the way with Adam and I think they both have a deepened bond and respect for each other's work ethics and achievements as a result of the GNT. It will be something they will always remember sharing. There will never be anything as special as that very first tour. It was Adam's baby that he created in every aspect. It was a huge undertaking and took a lot of guts, not knowing if it would be successful or not, especially headlining and not opening for someone else's tour. Adam saw his fans up close and learned alot. We all saw greatness and a unique visual and vocal masterpiece. The larger venues will be successful, but we won't have the same intimacy or opportunity to see him or the band like we did. They used to say, "Elvis has left the building" immediately after his last song. He was no longer able to be accessable to fans at the huge stadiums after the shows. The more fame you have, the more protection you need. The separation becomes wider, but it's the price paid for superstardom. That's why I and so many others tried to go to as many concerts as we could before Adam would be playing large stadiums. He deserves that fame and status and I believe it will happen, just will miss the times he was able to come out and sign things for fans and flash that magnificent smile that turned us all into pools of glitter. Guess we'll be turned into grease spots from melted leather that we'll be wearing to celebrate this next tour! lol funbunn40

That could be any band in the same situation as KOL that Neil would compare with. The band is not the issue but Neil being SO PROUD OF his brother!!

In today's economy...artist are very lucky that fans will buy a ticket. True performers should finish the concert then they can go off stage and have their melt down. Don't punish the fans by walking off... because they got you where you are..just saying.

I was impressed that Adam with all the sweat pouring off of him last year night after night kept it going. It may not have been heat for KOL but they should have been more professional and honored their commitment.

Truth is people paid good money to see kings put on a show. If in fact they were fighting then puussies they are!! Its called putting your differences aside for a couple of hours and respecting the fans who got you where you are!! Adam is in a different league from most of the performers today and yes i know i spelled pussies wrong!! Lol and by the way, a kings ticket price prob. Pushes $100.00. I saw adam for $32.50. Just sayin.

Neil is just proud of his brother. I feel sorry for the Leon fans, hope no one travel oversea for the concert. Still it is such a let down, hope they recover soon!

C'mon folks Neil interpretation in my opinion, is weak that's all. He just being proud of his brother and you know how it feels when you have a sibling that is very exceptional and unique indeed.

I was at the KOL concert in Dallas - talk about some angry fans!! Anyway, I've been following the story in mags/newspapers, and it seems that Caleb is having major substance abuse issues - one reviewer even suggested he could be the next Amy Winehouse if he doesn't get treatment. Love the band - hope they'll work it out. Fame looks to be tough for some folks to handle.

Drugs and alcohol mix together your life is over!!! There are so many ways to live life more healthier than drugs and alcohol. Being in a rock band isn't easy and I experienced that with my brother. Cool but it was hard just saying....

I've always admired Adam's work ethic. He feels obliged to give his fans his best show every time. He takes care of himself and his voice. He got sick a couple times and his voice was stressed, but he never mentioned it or made excuses. He just sang the best he could in a lower register.

Neil is in a position to know that Adam probably had voice issues after 116 shows. He played in scorching heat and rain and crazy winds. KOL can make more excuses...but perhaps the heat had everything to do with an unhappy band having problems...which Adam and his band, dancers and crew were like brothers and sisters and very professional. Yeah to Neil for stepping up and saying what needed to be said. Thank you Neil...you are a great brother. And, I would also love to hear you play an acoustic piano version of any song with Adam sometime... I heard your other songs you put on twitter and you are very, very good.

Remember when Adam dedicated his American Idol costume he wore with Kiss to the Hard Rock Cafe? He was there with his father who stated that Adam had been sick but was still going to make the appearance. Adam is dedicated to his craft and his fans. He makes the best out of every situation. Remember the former slaughter house in Texas he played at? Super hot but he, his band, dancers and crew went on with the shows -- true professionals.

Always appreciate Neil. He was such a brilliant part of GN and noone better-er could have dealt with the fans or taken care of Adam in such a brilliant way more than Neil! Plus love the straighforwardness of the guy.

First, Neil is giving proper respect to his brother's work ethic. Good! As for KOL: When people pay good money for a show, they don't CARE about your personal issues, your internal band problems or even your health. They want to get their money's worth. Last night, I attended the Paul McCartney concert in Chicago. Paul is 69 years old. The temperature was at least 95 degrees in a packed Wtigley Field. Paul worked his ass off for over 3 hrs., soaked through his shirt, playing and singing like crazy. Didn't complain or cut it short. ADAM WOULD DO THE SAME. Get over yourselves, KOL. People pay, you do your job. Hope people got refunds.

Didn't the KOL walk off the stage in St. Louis last year?? Had something to do with bird poop!? Not kidding or was it a different band?

I was at the slaughterhouse concert in Lubbock Texas.It was in a metal building at least 100%, no air conditioning and Adam gave 110%. It was so hot several people almost passed out. Adam couldn't even wear all of his costumes. Adam's only comment was it is hotter than hell in here. He was Awesome!!!!! That is why I love Adam.

Don't think Neil had any malice towards KOL, and was simply commenting that Adam did persevere through quite a lot. (Maybe could have had a better choice of words.)

Paul McCartney must really love what he does to not retire (which he could certainly afford).
If Adam goes til he's 70, there's 40 more years of good times! Agree that he's the consumate professional - even always cheerful with the fans.

heat stoke, voice issues, substance abuse,mental health issues are something I would have difficulty working with. If anything ever became overwelming for Adam during a show I want him to know he comes first and to just leave .

I wouldn't want Adam to get hurt physically by doing a performance under impossible conditions, BUT the KOL situation seemed different from that. Seems like they're having internal issues. They should either cancel the show ahead of time or just DO IT.

Well this would not be the first group that imploded! Let's hope they can pull it back together and move forward. Adam has been performing since he was a child, so knows how to be a trooper...this is not always true with groups who get hot and are suddenly in the spotlight. Neil may want to keep his opinions to himself...just saying his remarks don't always reflect positively on Adam.

KOL has now cancelled their complete tour! I commend Neil for his observations. Neil, you are a Warrior!
