I second that opinion @7:44. Not much else to say.

@7:44
Well that just about covers it, as the cat said in her litter box.

What does "the wheels of justice turns slowly" mean? Was there a law suit? I wish I could sue that bastard Welsford. I hope there is a closure to this old stuff forever and we won't see any trace of it. It is so sad that Adam had to end his friendship with Monte. Monte was so unappreciative of how much Adam's fame benefited him. More so than when he was with Madonna. Just check his website and you'll know what I'm talking about. Oh well, let's move on! @7:44 P.M. comment indeed!

I thought yesterday someone said they removed all the albums from the stores and Amazon. I hope this isn't something sneaky too, like changing the release date to match Adam's release date. Monte is just someone I use to know. Tata old chap.

Well, I bought it on iTunes, don't know who gets the money but it's a very good song and it would've been a great loss not to release it. The song seems to be very popular, too.

I agree that Adam should get his share - and I hope he does...

I doubt very much that Adam and Monte's friendship of over 10 years has ended. Inuendos and rumours abound by those that look for any morsel to overdramatize. There are those that love to create negativity any way they can regarding Adam. Don't know how they put up with all of the nonsense besides just ignoring and not giving it credibility by responding. I really don't think Adam appreciates fans attacking Monte. They are grown men capable of taking care of their own personal business without strangers meddling and making invalid assumptions. Fans have every right not to purchase Beg For Mercy and I am one that chooses not to put a dime in that producer's pocket and for those that do, that also is their personal choice. My biggest issue is the timing and deliberate insinuation that it is Adam's new release and not correctly stating it was pre-Idol.

Well ... since ADAM doesn't get/has no claim on BFM ... financially I suggest that everyone who wants the song go to Ytube & download the vid FREE & convert it to an mp3 like I did. Did the same with Take One songs & didn't cost me a cent. As long as ADAM isn't the one releasing this song and it is on Ytube then it is open to the public as far as I'm concerned ... JMO

Is this the single Beg For Mercy they are talking about? Is the album for sale to?

I have to confess that I too did a free download of Beg for Mercy and I really like it. It is far better than anything on Take One which I bought a couple of years ago at Target. I suspect that the Beg for Mercy album will also be available at Target and/or Walmart and I will probably buy it.
This whole controversy might have been avoided if Adam's new album had come out in time for Christmas.

Who is the AO web crew?

The AO web crew is Adam Official web site. I think the Glamberts sent a strong message to the producer of Beg For Mercy that the album wouldn't become a no.1 seller. As Tess4Adam stated,"You can download it free from YT.Agree with Ost.24, 7:44PM and JAK!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Ke9WR4Hkh8 This video has all songs from album "Beg For Mercy". 2 lost.

In ref. to AO statement "spread the word", I think that's pretty much up to those on twitter. Which I'm not. I would imagine that Glamberts have already done so. Am I right? A simple "Beg for Mercy is a rip off and Adam asks you not to buy it". Would that get Adam in trouble?

"Wheels of justice turn slowly" obviously means every legal way to stop this has been exhausted and it's gonna happen.

There are only 3 songs on the album that I like and I've been listening to them on youtube for a couple years. That plus the fact it goes against Adam's wishes means of course I won't buy album.
However my main reason is just to spite Welsford!.....JAK

There's one remotely bright spot in this kerfluffle....even though these performances are a rough early ROCK example of Adam's potential....they are still better than James Durbin's best efforts!
I'm sorry, sometimes meanness just pops out of my brain. I'm ashamed.
...JAK :(

I havent listened to it. Don't intend to. Adam has been very open that he does not support these early recordings being released and that "it turns his stomach" everytime a fan asked him to sign the Take One cd. Who wants a "free" recording that causes Adam pain at this time in his life?
Not me.

I listened to BFM on YT and I understand why these old studio production tracks turn Adam's stomach. It's obvious that they are unfinished tracks of the past with heavy heavy guitar playing in the front and Adam's voice in the back. Sort of like heavy metal/rock but not done in a good way. Perfectly understand why Monte was supporting these tracks cause they showcase his work but again getting its benefit from Adam's name on the album. Not fair to Adam. Clearly he was being taking advantage of in this whole ordeal. As for JD dissing Adam on the radio for disappointing his fans by not doing a rock album, JD's single isn't rock or heavy metal as he promised his fans he will do. Adam didn't promise his fans that he will do a rock album. The only person on Idol who boxed Adam as a rocker was Randy Jackson the rest considered him as an international star.

I refuse to give those leeches one cent. They have shown a total lack of integrity and consideration for Adam and his fans in how they are marketing this product. BFM is not my style of music, but I intend to obtain a copy of it (for my digital Adam shrine LOL) and I will display a similar lack of integrity and consideration in how I obtain it. "Sauce for the goose", as they say.

How did my comment got posted five times? ADMIN please fix this!? Thanks!

I am not really clear as to what Monte had to with the album being released. I understood it was out of Adam and Monte's hands, that they had no control over it. They had signed release papers several years ago, before Idol. Maybe someone can clear this up for me.

Adam ended his friendship with Monte over this ?

Anonymous said...

Monte has been pushing this album all over the place; THAT's what he has to do with the release. Against Adam's wishes, Monte has been saying, "this is great, go buy it." Maybe this difference of opinion didn't end the friendship, but if I were Adam, I would certainly be disappointed in Monte, and probably wouldn't have him on my next tour.
