Adam is truly an amazing singer and the EMA's truly became a turning point in his career. He's being treated as a Rihanna/Katy Perry type celebrity. not necessarily on the Gaga/beyonce/britney level yet but he's on his way up. Just be patient and get ready for the radio takeover.

Sure Fire Winners (vocals) + Madonna's Hung Up + Hold It Against Me.

That's the best way to describe it.

The vocals make the song stand out. It's purely amazing. Dr Luke is the freaking KING. Wait until you hear the how the vocals and production mesh so perfectly. It also kind of reminds me of Rihanna's Where Have You Been except with a much better voice of course and his swagger is off the hook.

This is a testament of Adam's character and proof of the class act that he is. Gorgeous.

10:57 "not himself" maybe you were expecting a big juicy lip lock with Brian May? Or maybe you haven't recognized what Adam did recognize...that the performance was about Queen and not about himself.

I think this was his BEST performance to date!! Hands down AMAZING!! It got me giddy for him again in a way that I haven't felt since my weekly anticipation of his AI performances.

This one goes down in the history books for me.

"The Show Must Go On" was absolutely a defining moment for Adam. Thank you Queen for giving Adam the world stage he deserved. Absolutely amazing and captivating.

Time was limited that night but still he nailed with class and respect for the QUEEN!!!

I agree. Adam was truly at his finest here. He was just right. He was perfect. If I'd had my way (if MANY of us had our way..) they would have just kept going with more of those great Queen songs, because as usual, we cannot get enough of Adam. And Adam singing Queen WITH QUEEN is just beyond unbelievable.

I'm so exited for Adam and to show this video to other friends, already "casual" fans, but this performance perhaps put them over the edge into full-blown fandom. Fortunately I have this already classic performance on my DVR, which is probably where it will stay forever. ; ) And also have it on a DVD that a friend made for me. I truly believe that this was Adam's well-deserved opportunity to show the world once again what he can do, what an incredibly talented singer he is, what a VOICE he possesses, and on a (nearly) world-wide stage. Pity it wasn't reprised at the AMA's in the US two weeks later. But I also am wondering if it was directly responsible for his brief but meaningful return to the AMA stage to introduce One Republic, and the reason for Dick Clark Productions sudden reversal from ignoring him to gushing about his "amazing AMA performance 2 years ago", which I thought was a VERY interesting turn of events and 180 degree change of attitude. (YAY!!)

Whatever the case, the EMA performance was a major triumph for him, as well as the opportunity to honor Freddie Mercury. As you said, "hands down amazing" and "best performance to date". As I watch the video, I realize too that I would have given anything to have been in that audience. As good as the video is, the live experience, up close, must have been incredible. Lucky Belfast. And lucky us.

Re the single...The word is it will release this month in the US, but no date has been announced yet officially. And since its only the beginning of the month, it seems we will hear something soon. My hope is that it will mean we'll get some performances on some highly visible TV shows soon. Perhaps New Years Rockin' Eve, perhaps others.

The German info is obviously adding to the confusion..In the UK, it sounds like some media promo is being moved up to mid Dec..music is often released at different times in different countries. I'm holding out for this month in the US. Have had hints of "before Christmas" etc..Hoping its true..Because I CAN'T WAIT!

why most of you watch adam perform with queen on AI video and here ,concentrate on hes voice.on AI hes performence and voice is awsome but in here hes so emotional and tuned hes voice down.

It's funny, but every time I see this performance I remember the NY pics where Adam had the same Gareth Pugh jacket on..

Excellent Quality, it just gets better and better.
Funny though when I hear the riff for "Under Pressure" I still hope for David Bowie to walk onto the stage.
But either way this moment was EPIC enough as it was.
Just wonder how Adam managed all these wild emotions within himself while still putting out such an incredible performance. Guess that what is call professionalism.

Thank you so much for posting this Directors Cut of the EMAs here! I've also downloaded it to cherish forever. In my opinion this was probably the best live performance Adam has done to date....truly brilliant. He sang his heart out, voice full throttle, looks, drop dead gorgeous (well maybe not the shaved sides of head LOL!) and the stage presence he brings is incredible. He is the epitome of professionalism in my book. The backing of a powerful band like Queen, the international stage, the audience so excited and loving it, well the whole thing was absolutely perfect. What a way to close the show. Once again Adam set the bar so high I doubt any other awards show will ever be able to measure up to that. I hope Adam and Queen collaborate again (as Roger hinted).

@DRG Think that was from Germany if that's even the correct dates. The tweets point toward a before Christmas release for the single here. Hope that is true. The best Christmas present ever!

The single and album will be out when the GNT is over. I mean, do you realize the tour is over?

Okay Adam , how are you going to top this performance ? I think we ask this often , how does he do it? This was truly a magnificence of a performance!
The first time I started hearing Adam singing this , my first thought was , a Bond movie. I believe someone else had spoken of this also. But is it true gaga & Queen are doing a Bond theme song together? If it is true, in my opinion, that sucks! Entertainment industry just keeps adding to her stardom, when will the industry recognize Adams voice? TFM is a terrific song & I'm glad that Rob C. noticed Adam !

Glitzylady, I so agree with you about Adams appearance at the AMAs was a direct result of his performance with Queen it was a turning point.It couldnt have come at a better time.
I love Adam singing those big big songs that showcase his voice, Queen songs are perfect, maybe with a little dubstep or something modern thrown in to appeal to the younger set, not too much though.
My eldest Grandson has driven me crazy all weekend with this dubstep and screamo crap. Though I have to say I have enjoyed some of the mash-ups he played me.
Surpriseingly.
This anticipation is like haveing two Christmases in one.
Does it seem like Adams profile has risen is the a result of the EMAs, new management or both.

I do believe that Adam's new management seems to be doing a great job in getting him into the public eye in a positive way, along with RCA music, and in helping to set up the launch of his new music...There is major buzz everywhere, it sounds like the US radio stations are getting on board, promotion in the UK is sounding strong this time..All good! And the EMA's was a HUGE coup on Adam's part, not only the gig itself but the spectacular way in which he totally delivered it, both the stellar vocals and his ability to own the stage, and yet share, highlight and defer to Queen. He was the perfect frontman for the band that night and he made many new fans....As we all have been saying, Adam will be the Man of the Year in 2012.

In, The Show Must Go On, I love Adam's little move when he sings, "My smile still stays on" also, on We Are The Champions - when Adam sings, "committed no crime" for some reason I feel so proud and absolutely giddy at the same time. I just love that man so much I feel insane at times. My Sublime Obsession! nancdruuu2 (in love-sigh)

I am so with you Glitzy Lady about how much of a differance new managment has made. The best move he ever made. I would twit him all the time about why why why haven't more singles been released on "For Your Entertainment"? I advised him to colaberate too. All the big names do why not you I would ask him. What a waste of soooo many great songs on that CD in my opinion that alot of folks never heard. I think now we are going to see bigger things for Adam and I am greatful to his new management and all his fans who stood by him. The EMA showed the "WORLD" that he will NOT be forgotten and he is her to stay for years to come. What a voice and the charm factor ain"t bad either.

OMG I can't get enough of listening to this performance of Adam with Queen. Epic!!! The best legendary band in the world, Queen, with Adam as their front man; it just couldn't be any better than this.

Hope Adam's new band members for his 2nd album Trespassing will be somewhat as good as Queen cause that's what Adam needs a good band to accompany his stellar out of this world voice.

Yes, it seems that the CD release dates will again be different in other countries as noted on my post.

When Adam releases his new music, surely many of those new fans will go buy his FYE CD!!!
