Kidding. We appreciate Adam taking the time to set the record straight, even if it means we have to put a hold on creating our dream set lists for that hypothetical union. A representative for Hollywood Records further addressed the comments to Rolling Stone, stressing that nothing between Lambert and the band has been confirmed, but a live performance this summer is still possible. “The Daily Star item only mentions that Adam may perform with Queen at Sonisphere. This is not confirmed. Nothing has been signed. However, if this were to happen, Queen would be returning to the setting of their final concert with Freddie Mercury, which took place in 1986.” Sonisphere, the European Festival, takes place from July 6-8, at the renowned Knebworth House where Mercury last performed with the band. At least those involved now know the kind of monstrous response an official announcement on the subject would receive. Fingers crossed.."

I don't see how Adam could , At this time, make any dates with Queen. He must finish his album first, then his management will see if he can work it into his schedule. I am sure if it is possible he will do it. He is at this point sick and tired of journalists trying to be the first with the news, even if it's not true.

Just checked how cold it is right now in Stockholm... -17 degrees Celcius (1 ºF). Not bad.. I live in Finland and yesterday morning when I was cycling to work it was -29 ºC (-20 ºF). Yep, I'm a masochist :D

I just went VH1 link- adam wasn't even mentioned yet- not in the top 20. Vevo is a different story (almost 900,000 hits in a few days, not too bad. They NEED to play it on the radio however- never heard it once ever! Same old songs every 15 minutes. What does it take???

Don't underestimate the power of Adam. With him anything is possible.

For anyone worried that Adam doesn't have time for a gig or two with Queen, some thoughts:

Adam has all but said he WILL be doing "something" with Queen in the future and I have no doubt he'll find time to do it...The impact on his career will be MAJOR and in a very very good way...He has said in the past he will NOT be the "new front man" for Queen and has his own career to think of, but one or two or three gigs with Queen as lead singer will take relatively little of his time.

To pass up that opportunity would be shortsighted. The world-wide attention and exposure would be HUGE...For example, he only had one week's notice before his EMA performance in November!! Look at what a stellar job he did with very little preparation time AND what an impact THAT had on his visibility and name recognition factor, just from one unannounced performance.

As one reviewer said recently: Immediately after the EMA gig, people were saying "Who is Adam Lambert???" Now they're saying "Oh, yes Adam Lambert!" when the articles came out this week about him teaming up with Queen, etc...Imagine what this will do for his solo career..

So I'm sure he'll find the time if its offered..He can still do a tour of his own...That's what jet airplanes are for: the world is a very small place now...LA to London in 10 hours or so...rehearse, perform, fly back...No problem! I hope it happens...and although I hate to overuse the word, but it would be EPIC!!!

One more thing, even though the report was not entirely true, and/or at very least premature, with some mis-timed quotes along the way, it generated news reports all over the WORLD: Everyone knew about it..It had EVERYONE talking about Queen AND Adam...Perfect publicity in time for his new music and Music Video...The timing couldn't have been more PERFECT, because almost all articles, blogs, etc.. etc.., mentioned his new music in addition to the rumors about Queen...All good for him....And as Sauli would say: YAY!! ; ))

I agree 12:18. In a 24-hour everyone gets lost in the shuffle (unless they are Brangelina lol.) This "rumour" was very positive for Adam

One of our top two media networks in Canada reported the story the morning after the Star made it up -they considered it newsworthy.

Also, the cd is coming out in March and will be fully promoted by the end of April. A tour does not look likely before September so a summer gig would keep him in the news (media would treat it like the second coming even though Adam and Queen have made it clear NO ONE can replace Freddie)and introduce Adam to a lot of fans who've never seen or heard him before.

The UK is an imprtant market and a lot of people might pick up FYE, too.

Come on Tommy...it's cold as ice. Stick to playing the guitar; Adam is the wordsmith and does it very well. It seems that the Adam storm has hit the UK and parts of Europe with freezing cold temps and lots of snow. Glad to read that the gang got to Sweden safely and hope the rest of the promo tour is just as successful as it has been so far. I think that Adam has answered the rumors about the Queen performance/s from what I have read. His main focus is his own album, promoting it and an eventual tour. If they can work out one or two shows, that would be great, but I think he wants to concentrate on his own career and a successful second album. It's great to see any pictures of Adam in Europe so keep them coming.

"Cold as ice, and more bitter than December", reminds us how Life, in this case Adam's, seems to somehow imitate Art, in the same way that "Whattaya Want From Me" was an apropos segue (sp?) to the AMA brouhaha. atm

Does Tommy play the guitar? I never hear it. Maybe thats why Adam hired Kevin, he needs accompanient and I don't think Tommy's guitar has strings. I always thought Monte played too loud most of the time, but now I miss him.
