Meat Loaf tells FUSE TV that Adam Lambert is Alongside Whitney and Aretha in terms of VOCAL.

“I think there are three singers that I have heard that I think have that thing, that jet pack quality to their voice that just lets it take off... Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin and Adam Lambert. Top three! I am not kidding. That kid is something else. He's real.”

Meat Loaf, welcome to GlamGal Glamily...GGG! We all here knew it from the very very start! And you are here to endorse that!
Hey that acoustic version Fever is stunning!! Whoa!! And he looks super in just plain old t-shirt and fade jeans. Oooh-la-la! Big bang boom smash! Very excited because he's coming to Singapore! The SingBerts are bringing out their boxes and boxes of purple glowsticks to wave at him!! LOl! :)

There are others as well, like Sing dollar, Singtel (telephone company), SingPost (post-office). But the airport tag tops it all...SIN! So weird; it's like advertising sin! LOL! Glad you like SingBerts. Come to think of it, it's relevant because Adam is all about Sing! :)

For Lam-my

..........Quiet Day............

Morning washes the sky with blue
Clouds are racing to the horizon
An insistent breeze opens my door
......And I am alone once more.
Noon blisters the sky with heat
Leaves lie limp along the boughs
On thirsty lawns, sprinklers pour
......And I am alone once more.
Midnight dusts the sky with stars
Palms whisper to their shadows
Waves come up and tease the shore
......And I am alone once more.
-----------------------------------

Lam-my, whether you prefer a day of peace and quiet or one of joyous riot...I hope your birthday is everything you want it to be.
I send you a big Adam-style bear hug......JAK :)

Oh my goodness, JAK. You almost brought me to tears!! I've never seen a poem of this calibre by you; usually it's the joy and laughter, sort of the lighter side. But you got me with this one; almost like you know me in a deep sort of way. You do have something very very special, can't pinpoint it! But special and it makes me feel strongly. Thank you, I love that Adam-style bear hug a lot! And your beautiful poem! Wow! I do feel a lot of love from the Glamily here. Thank you All! :)

I don't think Meat Loaf is the world expert on every singer in creation but great to receive praise from a fellow artist.

I haven't the faintest idea what genres of music MeatLoaf play but I have heard them a few times. By the way, I know you are also an 8 person, is it July, Cancer, if I'm not mistaken. :)

@ Lam-my.......JAK here...

Glad you liked the poem. Like our Adam.....I have a dark side and a light side and my poetry files are varied. Since my basic personality is outwardly cheerful I mostly write silly rhymes, but I have deep ones, sad or mad, fanciful or furious and downright corny. I enjoy my file of really gut wrenching country music lyrics.....they give me the giggles. Writing is what keeps me calm and sane!

Thank you Meat Loaf--I wish more "music People" would indorse Adam as the most incredible singer of today. We (fans) know that, but I still feel sometimes that other people don't! Maybe they are just jealous, don't know ; I hope visiting all these radio stations and promoting his album will make everyone aware of who he is ; and that he will attain the stardom that he so deserves. LOVE you Adam!

Some of you might want to Google Meat Loaf and listen to the songs he sang. Don't ever judge a book by it's cover. He had a tremendous voice when younger and he's still out there rockin. Just giving credit where credit is due!

I visit a music forum on the web and they have ranked Most Technically Skilled Male Rock Vocalists by number. I will not take the time to show them all, but here are just a few with whom you might be familiar:

2 Adam Lambert
4 Freddie Mercury
66 Elvis Presley
77 Steven Tyler
81 Meat Loaf
105 Prince
111 George Michael

I hope that puts things into perspective as to Meat Loaf's abilities as a rock singer and also as a critic...just 4 below Steven Tyler.
