@anon 6:22 PM Yes, you wish!!!! I just made some calculations. After all, Adam still has about 20,000 fans. I mean real fans who will buy 7-10 Tresspassing albums. So, it will make about 150-160,000 albums which will be sold in first week. No way Adam can get top 10 in first week after album will be released.

My guess is 80,000 cd's on pre-sale because he sold 66,000 singles of BTIKM in week one. Those sales were all to fans, who will buy the cd. Then you need to consider his fans who didn't buy BTIKM because they are not digital downloaders (quite a few of those) and all of the fans who bought the cd on his fan site and got free BTIKM downloads, which didn't count towarrds sales.

I would bet that multiple purchasers account for a few thousand cds at most. I know quite a few intense fans and a lot of them buy only one (including me - and I don't even have FYE deluxe.)

It's great if people can purchase mulitple albums, but I would rather see new fans come in and make their first purchase of this Adam Lambert album TRESPASSING. I ordered one deluxe edition and will probably buy one another cd at one of the stores selling it like Target or Walmart. If the radio stations would play NCOE, that would boost sales of the album also. Hopefully Adam's appearance on American Idol will show the viewing audience what an amazing performer he is and gather him some new fans. Adam has worked so hard to produce this album,talked about it through numerous radio visits and will be doing these mini concerts or appearances to promote it. If it is not a success for him, there is definitely something wrong with the music listening audience.

Phillip has a very ordinary voice. Better singers than he is have already left the show. At least Casey James was easy on the eye.

I hope Adam's performance on Idol will rock the world. This is the 3rd year Adam has been invited to perform on this show so to me, that speaks volumes.

Out of subject. Do you know who is Austin Mahone? Never heard about him and never heard his songs before. However, they mentioned his name on Q102SpingBall tweets. I found Austin's pictures. I think JB will get some problems because Austin is very cute kid and just 16years old:)

I know I'll buy multiple of his Trespassing (Deluxe) album just because I truly appreciate his talent and his one of a kind vocal ability. If we want to enjoy Adam having an spectacular shows we have to support him and buy his album. I know some fans even can't buy his album because their countries don't sell them. They have access to internet and they get Adam's music for free from illegal sites. That's just not fair. That's stealing. If you are a true fan you support Adam's music by buying his album.

I am a new fan, from Europe... Been reading these pages for a while :) Obsessed, for the first time in my 40 years life ;)!! I'd like to have the deluxe version, CD, not digital. Any idea how long it takes to get the pre-ordered CD overseas? I'd like to buy it at a store here but I'm not sure if Deluxe is for sale yet May 15th. I bought his first album a month ago and it was the version with extra songs... Maybe later it comes but don't want to wait :)

I am also waiting for the Idol show. We see it here on tv, but two weeks later I guess. Thanks for posting all these videos (Jimmy Kimmel etc) here :) It's funny, when I watched The American Idol show 2009, I was amazed by Adam's talent. Somehow I just didn't follow what he was doing after that, I don't listen to the radio, and mostly very slow and calm music... But now I got faster internet connection and started to watch videos and I clicked :) Adams voice, performance and personality!

Hi, your story sounds like mine. I'm also 40, Scandinavian and hooked on these pages and Adam since a few months. I heared his voice for the first time on the radio(!) some 1,5 years ago and started googling Adam. A whole new world opened to me. I'm obsessed with this gorgeaus man and voice! How can he have such an impact on normal people?? LOL! I would also like to buy the deluxe CD, but I don't know if it's possible here. Does anyone know?

I've also been wondering how is it possible to get hooked like this - I have always liked emotional music, as the interpreter of my own emotions, but it hasn't been personal like this. I have enjoyed the music but nothing else.

In my opinion, I think it has to be the combination on Adam's tone of voice and personality. Colour of his voice simply affects me very strongly... And also his presence when he talks, sings, performs. He is VERY charismatic person!

And the more I watch him talking, more impressed I am about him. I like his honesty, kindness, openness, intelligence and enthusiasm. He doesn't seem like a mystery superstar, more like a normal person with extraordinary talent...

I especially love his ballads and rock type songs, but his new dance songs are also hot! I listen to them first in the morning and get energized :)

7:02 here. Thanks for the concern expressed about my ability to afford the cd. Everyone here is so nice. Actually I am okay financially. I only bought one copy of FYE because, like a lot of other fans, I thought that was enough.

I was making the point that Adam sales results are not as dependent on multiple purchasing as 6:34 suggests. There are aggressive multi-purchasers out there but they are much fewer than imagined and Adm's sales figures are as true as anyone's.

You can rest assured that I am actually buing 2 cds this time around. I bought the full litho version from AO and will be buying a regular version in the store on the day of - because I think the AO sales will go to US and I live in Canada and I want Adam to get a sale in Canada.

BTW - #1 CD last week sold 138,000 units (Jack White); a lot less than Carrie Underwood will achieve this week at 275,000. CD sales are not what they used to be and Adam will definitely rank very well the week he opens.

@4:25AM Carrie's remarkable album sales has to do with her tons of product endorsements. I see her pictures in every single store I step into. Her iTunes banners and little icons are everywhere every time you click on something. The music ads for this Adam fan site show us her album's promotional ads. I wonder if her fan sites get to see Adam's TP ads. Honestly, I wan't impressed with her performance last night on Idol. She was like a stick, frozen in place. She has a great voice but I prefer Jessica's voice over hers.

I hope Adam kills NCOE on Idol. Hope he doesn't get nervous because of the cameras. GET INTO THE ZONE, ADAM. Block everything else, all the distractions, and concentrate on your song. One of the comments Jimmie Iovine gave to Hollie to control her nerves was, imagine you are singing to one person. Yes, Adam imagine you are singing to Saulie. Put Saulie's head on top of everyone's. Viewers at home are bunch of tired audience with no make-up on and they want to be entertained. Know your fans love you and we send you millions of virtual hugs and kisses.

I don't know if most people in here are from US or what? I started to read different pages about Adam few weeks ago and in here found SO much info, videos, interviews... But it was also very hard to "crawl back" in time, so many interviews ;) I'd like to know who keeps these pages and adds all the material??

Someone was pissed off about "international discrimination" at these pages - I don't know about that but for me it'd sounds strange. Why would Adam's fans be narrow-minded because he himself is so open minded (including foreign boyfriend :)?

I think music is an international language. Even if you don't understand the lyrics, the music itself can give so much! But personally I am very happy to be able to understand what Adam tells in the interviews :)) (I am not english-speaking, so sorry about my broken english ;)

Off topic(somewhat): I just saw an ad in my local paper for a concert at the PNCBank Arts Center in NJ for May 20th with Pitbull, Flo Rida, Enrique Iglesias and then below their names Adam Lambert and 3 or 4 other performers I never heard of. What is Adam doing in this group? I am not one of the younger generation but I do know the top 3 performers listed and Adam doesn't seem to fit in there somehow. I want to see him headlining a show or appearing as the opening act for one major performer not this listing. I realize he needs to perform before a large audience to get them familiar with his new album and the latest single, but for some reason I am not sure about this. I may be overreacting or just not with it in the music scene, so just let me know. I would love to see Adam perform,but do not want to see these others since I don't care about them or their music.

9:52, That sounds like a similar line-up to the show I'm seeing in Chicago on the 18th. Adam was added to the show later. I feel like you do about these interim gigs, but I think he's working his way through the country, doing shows where he can in order to build up to the release of TPing. I'm just glad to be able to see him performing in person. Can't wait for his REAL tour later on.

Adam is absolutely beautiful without all the make-up..a true natural beauty..on another note..he needs to be on in Prime time..not during the day on some talk show when everyone is out working, or late at nite when everyone is sleeping..he needs to be on when people can see and hear him and bear witness to his awesomeness..don't you all agree?? (btw..he should be on SNL..really!!!)

If anyone wants to pre-order a Deluxe TRESPASSING album - I would suggest they order the UK version (it has 17 songs). I ordered one yesterday from Amazon UK. Only problem is it won't be released until early July.

My thoughts on your comments: Of course Adam will be on his own tour eventually, but in the meantime, he's doing these shows (radio sponsored festivals), so far east coast and Chicago, etc....which I think is quite EXCELLENT promotion for him and his new music. I don't think we can be too choosy about WHERE we get the chance to see and hear him perform, as long as we DO get the opportunity! Its been so long since he's toured that these shows are a gift! I would personally jump at the opportunity to go to the shows and although perhaps you aren't a fan of the other performers you might even find you may even enjoy some of them.. All three big names that you mention have music that I like, and I'm not particularly "young" (as in a teen or twenty-something, etc...) either... So, given the opportunity to see Adam LIVE and in person, I would absolutely jump at the chance, even if there was someone I wasn't particularly fond of as part of the line-up... And I have to say, I think Enrique Iglesias is quite fine ; ))))

One thing that I've discovered as an Adam Lambert fan, and one who might have been out of the "loop" for awhile in regards to music just a little bit (before Adam..), is that I do like a lot of the currently popular music and singers/groups/ performers. I also think it's FABULOUS and also VERY encouraging that Adam has been invited to perform along with these currently very very popular and hot-in-the-world-of-music performers. So yes, he definitely BELONGS with this group. YAY!!! Those performers will draw in the audience and as a result, he will be heard by a whole new group of potential fans. SO important to his career. #WIN/WIN

So, I would encourage you to go see Adam perform at a radio festival near you. He is SO worth it!! And you never know, you might even win a meet and greet! I recently went to a smaller radio event, at the Bing Lounge in Portland, OR, a smaller but nonetheless fabulous opportunity to see Adam up close and personal, where he sang 3 songs, introduced NCOE publicly for the first time, and with the added bonus of a meet and greet of sorts. I spent 11 hours in the cold, standing in line to get a good seat. Totally worth it. If he comes to my area for a radio sponsored festival, you can bet I'll be there. I passed up the opportunity to go to LA and be at the Jimmy Kimmel mini-concert and am now kicking myself in the proverbial butt.. So my advice to you is this: Get tickets to the New Jersey show NOW! You will thank yourself later...as in while you are there watching Adam perform...There is nothing like it! Trust me : )))) And you won't be feeling the regret later!!

I live in NJ and I opted to get tickets to the May 25 Wilkes-Barre PA show where Adam is the headliner. It is a little bit further to drive than the PNC center but I thought it would be worth it.

Well put glitzylady, and I would just emphasize it is best to be unselfish now and not be too insistent on an immediate Adam show just for us when he has an opportunity to play to diverse crowds and hopefully add to his fandom first. We will have him alone in all his glory soon enough. ahhh Patience. Always patience.

The Chicago show is NOT sold out. I have two tickets. There seem to be plenty of tickets left. There are probably eight other acts, at least. Adam was added late, I think. I'm excited to see him live, regardless of the venue. Hey, Chicago area Glamberts, get a ticket and join us!

I haven't preordered Trespassing yet. Hopefully it will be like with FYE here and released the same day as in the US, so I can go in and buy the physical copy. Not sure if that will then count as first week sales though, as isn't that only US numbers???

Well, I really liked him on Idol, thought he was brilliant. But didn't start following him until his album came out in the November. Not because I didn't want too, just hadn't really figured out that all this wonderful stuff was available at my fingertips on the internet....

Check my first introducing post here 11:01 PM :) I also first "met" Adam 2009 in AI, loved his voice and performances but had such a hard times in my life that I didn't have energy to follow any new music for a long time :(

So it was about a month ago when I was having a flu at home I started googling in youtube. I had though heard his song WWFM before. It was mad, I just couln't stop googling reading watching :) I watched tons of live videos from tour, interviews... More I watched and listened, more I was impressed! And it had a great effect to my mood and feelings :)

During couple of weeks I watched most of the clips (performances, interviews) in this site since his performance with queen in Nov. I have always been a lover of queen music, so for me Adam's voice + Queen songs was a great experience :) But I really love his own songs too. I think that guy could sing a telephone book and still sound great ;) I have my favourite songs but I think all of them sound great in a different way.

It's very nice to talk to someone like this, personally :) I'm intrested, are you staying permanently in Asia or just shorter visit?

I have been living in Hong Kong for 15 years now, no plans on leaving just yet...
