I could only hear Adam briefly in the background at times. I am sure it was good tho !!!

At the end, it sounded like he said about singing with Queen, "I doubt this will be the last time"! Nice.

I hope that Queen + ADAM will bring their concert over here in North America.
I have a feeling Brian and Roger would do that maybe after their 6 European concerts but after ADAM has done all his promo of Trespassing and end of the Queen Extravaganza Tour. But i don't know if that should go ahead than his own Trespassing tour. I don't really mind just want to experience again a live ADAM concert.

JAK here......and I didn't get any of that. Sadly the only Polish word I know is "kielbasa"! :)

JAK here......as a superfan of SYTYCD (how can anyone love music and not love dance?) I am waiting anxiously for the finalists to be chosen. You KNOW we're going to see some numbers using Adam's new music. There are just too many on the album that would be perfect for choreography.

In fact I would like to suggest that they use all 15 songs! Mia Michaels could choreograph a routine for Underneath that would leave the audience in puddles of tears...she's pretty good with the dramatic stuff!

I didn't get much out of this interview either but since this was a Polish program in Poland I would expect the bulk to be done in the language of that country. It's just too bad the interpreter was so loud that ADAM's own American words were over-run & therefore unintelligible. Wish I could have heard MORE of ADAM & LESS from her!!

JAK someone said in another thread they played a brief part of CUCKOO on SYTYCD last week right after that heavy set guy danced. I think they should devote an entire show to Adam's album. lol ok, at least one beautiful routine.

I would love to see a routine of Adam's music on SYTYCD done by the guy who choreographed Sasha and Twitch's routine to Misty Blue. That was a knock-out.

BRIAN MAY about ADAM LAMBERT on RMF FM Poland:

Q: You’ll come to Poland with a new singer who you conctracted for 6 concerts. Why did you chose ADAM LAMBERT?

A: It’s good to work with talented musicians and we met such a musician. ADAM is a great guy and without a doubt very talented. He has an incredible voice. FREDDIE would have loved him – both professionally and personally. Especially because ADAM is charming, very casual, easy to work with and he has an amazing instrument - his voice.

Music is his passion, he lives and breathes music, just like Freddie once did. He is also a showman, just like Freddie was and he has a natural ability to connect with audience, what is a very important part of being a rock singer.
Because for me music is not only sheet music. It is a kind of conversation with the audience and that is very important.
What is weird is that the organization who was doing auditions for singers for “We Will Rock You In Las Vegas” didn’t notice ADAM.
ADAM applied to play Galileo and they rejected him. He didn’t get through and we didn’t get the chance to meet him then. What is crazy for me is that a guy like him comes in and no one noticed him!?!?!

Q: Who was punished for that?

A: Heads should have rolled because of that, but the organization doesn’t exist anymore and we backed off of Las Vegas.

For those that couldn't hear what was being said, here's a twitlonger of the interview

To me this is what is so fascinating (and sad) about the audition process. Talent has to be there, the person auditioning has to be the right age, look etc. and then they have to click with the auditioners. Adam has talked about wondering if might have eliminated him in the early rounds of Idol becuase he didn't meet their "type" requirements.

There are so many amazingly talented people out there who never make it. It's lucky for us that Adam did.

I read that whole Polish interview yesterday about which I'm thankful because I could only hear Adam ever so slightly in the background of this recorded interview. Brian May was interviewed as well as Roger and Adam. Unfortunately, I didn't keep the link.

# HK fan..........JAK here

Thanks for that link, it was a very interesting interview. I'm glad I didn't miss it.

More and more I realize that Adam is a young man who "has it together", very self confident, unafraid and certain of the path he wants to follow. He's a lucky guy to have his inner strength. Though there are occasional rocks or even boulders in his path he keeps on going. Bravo!

If I were Polish it would make sense!

Oh Queen and ADAM will have to tour the other side of the world next year. This HAS to just be the beginning.

Anonymous said...

Queen and ADAM need to trek down under next time. Queen is a icon
here.

Let's not forget that Roger and Brian are no longer spring chickens and that touring is very gruelling. Adam is still a journeyman in his career and "Queen" has already slowed down tremendously. While I would love to see them in the states, I still think Adam wants his own career path. However, I can't think of any better mentors for him than Roger and Brian.

@JAX- SYTYCD - I love, and thought the same thing! Any of adam's songs would be awesome on that show. Trespassing would be the perfect song when they do a ballroom number also, The possibilities are endless with all of adam's 15 songs. Also yeah- heard NCOE for the first time here in fla on 20 on 20 sirrus radio- it's a start!

JAK here......Adam was also turned down for Glee.
Rejection is something you learn to live with or you just quit trying. When your talent is what you're selling it can be brutal.

How-ever......sometimes it's not your talent, it's your look, your age, any of a dozen reasons.

@JAK

I didn't know about ADAM's rejection for Glee. He was also rejected at We Will Rock You in Vegas as what Brian May said, how can they ignore this boy?!?!?

I think it's all about LUCK and RIGHT TIMING.
"There's Time for every Season under Heaven."
All of those auditions were not ADAM's time yet.
American Idol came at the right time which dawned on him at Burning Man.

I know ADAM has a path intended for him only, the unorthodox way, but he will reach that point of glory.

Yes I remember Adam saying he auditioned for Glee but was turned down beause he was too old to pass as a high schooler. Which actually was true, it was around the time of AI Season 8 and while he looked great, he couldn't have pulled off looking 18.
