These rehearsal sessions have to be jaw-dropping for everyone in the room. I'll bet Brian and Roger weren't even aware of the extent of Adam's incredible vocal abilities. They (Brian and Roger) said they were going to try a few new things with the Queen songs. They put it in the capable hands of the most gifted vocalist out there. These concerts are gonna kick major ass.

I can't believe Usher sold only 128k for his new released album and his songs are all over my radio stations here in L.A. What the hell people do? They don't buy music anymore. They steal for free. So unethical. There should be ways to prevent these type of activities. Sad!!!

Anyway, IMO, since radios hardly play Adam's song I assume he is done really good on his first week.

There's a certain consolation in the fact that Usher's new album in getting good radio play but he still hasn't sold really well. That shows that it's not just Adam who faces this problem. I really don't know why radio play has such power when fewer and fewer people listen to music on radio. Yes, yes, I realize many still do, but not like they used to and certainly not in the younger demographic. Anyway, just kind of nice to know that Adam is not alone.

@DRG I guess no one is selling that many albums like they used to except Adele. Adam did great with no huge single being played. Just heard this new song on the radio called tongue tied by Grouplove anyway it's awful and keeps gaining spins. NCOE is great. Right now not happy with radio but I keep requesting daily! Adam will kill it with Queen and hope people with realize the great artist he is!

My mouth is literally watering at the thought of Adam singing that song. I do mean this literally people this happened when I listened to "Soaked" or Out laws of Love to. Adam singing those type of songs turn me to jelly. Crazy mad woman that I am, where he is concerned. So out of character I cant beleive myself.

It seems Adam could release any of the better songs on Trespassing like Cuckoo and Naked Love which I think are very good for radio and still not get played :(( . Usher seems to have lost a lot of fans esp in the R&B fan base hence his considerably lower sales compared to his last album but he is getting very good airplay which is at least good news for him.

If Adam doesn't get a hit on radio or significant airplay he will not sell records it's as simple as that even if a painful pill to swallow. It seems requesting is not having an impact and I really don't know what we can do to get radio to play him :((

Adam had a good album sales last week and I think in part it had to do with him winning as sexiest artist on that Billboard poll. Now there are couple of important polls and if he wins them there will be more buzz or news and surely will have some effect on his album sales. SO LET'S GO GLAMBERTS. OT, Hey guys I couldn't resist telling you how happy I was today when I went for the first time in months to Target (I've been unable to drive after a big surgery until now) to see if they stocked Trespassing Deluxe so I could buy it for a couple of family members as a gift. In the past I could never find FYE and complained at that time.

Today, there it was! in the Top Albums Rack, right in the front! Both the standard and the Deluxe were there! Only 2 of the Deluxe, which I bought and about 5 of the Standard.

So when I checked out I got a "chatty" check out lady who took one look at the Trespassing CD and said, "OMG look at those eyes! Wow!" I just smiled. She continued, "Hey isn't he the one that won AI?" I smiled again, "No, I said he was runner up but we all thought he should have won!" She said, "Well I don't remember then who did win?" So I told her KA. She had no clue who he was. Then I thought I would do a little "sales job" on her and told her how great Tsp was, the fantastic vocals (which she remembered from AI), the dance songs, the ballads etc. I told her that it was the best CD I'd ever listened to. She said, "Well I've gotta get this CD. I lost track of him after Idol but he's really gorgeous!" Yes, I said, isn't he? She was sold! I walked out feeling really good that another lost fan had been found again.....and Target was stocking Adam's music! Yayayay!

When I read your story about getting back another fan, I got misty eyed because I remember ADAM's story.
Those fans who told him, "Oh, we loved you in Idol."
As if he's been dead. That really tugged at my heart.
I met a few who loved and voted for him but didn't follow him after Idol. I'm gifting these fans his Trespassing when I see them again.

Stepping out for a fun night on the town, Adam Lambert was spotted arriving at The Wellington Club in London, England on Wednesday night (June 20).

The "Never Close Our Eyes" singer looked fierce as always in an all-black ensemble while giving the awaiting photographers a grin before heading inside to the Dean Piper party.


After dancing the night away with friends, the former "American Idol" contestant took to his Twitter page writing, "@deanpiper had a lovely time at your party!! Great to see u as always. :)"

Switching to music news, it looks like one of the 30-year-old's newest songs off his latest album might be getting a unique live performance. The track "Shady" off of record "Trespassing" includes vocals from producer and friend Sam Sparro, as well as Nile Rodgers, who added in on the guitar and it looks Rodgers wants a collaborative stage night.

Yesterday Nile tweeted out an invite writing, "I wish @adamlambert and @sam_Sparro could play Montreux Jazz on JULY 13 with ‪#CHIC & @markronson @larouxofficial @TheeRealFDHC etc etc."

Although it seemed like a great idea, it looks like the Glamberts might have to wait for the special event as Adam tweeted back, "@nilerodgers yo! Doing my run w @QueenWillRock at London's Hammersmith Apollo that week! Shady has to happen sometime though! It MUST."

That's an ageist remark. Why would you be embarrassed? There are people in their '80s who blog on the internet. Keeps their minds active. I'm not of that vintage but I can certainly understand why they'd want to do it. Reminder: Adam has fans from a very young age through to a very old age.

9:55 That's what I thought, too. One super-entitled older fan in Canada actually called Much Music to tell them off about their "under 26" rule for audiences, telling them "Don't you know 80% of his fan base is over 26?"

Well guess what? The teens filled the house and spilled out onto the street (same as Musique Plus where all the kids sang along to NCOE video) and at the HMV autograph session later that day there were as many teens as older fans (maybe more) plus some young families with kids under 10 in line.

Only in the US do Adam's fans skew older and, even then, there are lots of teens.

What's wrong with older fans, their money adds up in sales and they don't have to ask anyone's permission to buy whatever the hell they want. They are the ones who can pay for trips and tickets, being old isn't all bad.
