This was from FM 802 Osaka's Saturday AMusic Islands "Energy Song" program. They played Adam's "Never Close Our Eyes" then they played Katy Perry's "Part of Me" which was picked by Adam himself.

Adam sure gets around. He is right about KP song but I would use it on the treadmill. He should have pimped TP and Cuckoo or Kickin' In or PTL.

Never Close Our Eyes...beautiful song, one fine day, it may well be used as a movie sound track. His studio voice is powerful and clear as crystal. I read...Adam used to have to entertain geriatric audiences while working on a cruise ship; where some of the old folks literally were nodding off as he sings; lol! Also maybe due to the sound of waves and fresh sea breeze. So I jokingly commented that if Adam sang NCOE to these old folks, it might have an adverse effect; instead of waking them they might fall deeper into slumber. lol! I suggested...Ring Of Fire, his powerful rendition of the song might do the trick; moreover it might make them wonder why this song sounded so familiar yet at the same time so different. Ahh when the mind is boggled, it will wake...lol! :)

Top American Idol In the End ADAM LAMBERT Will Be the Greatest of Them All!

“ADAM LAMBERT is destined to become the biggest worldwide success ever launched by American Idol. Many articles have been written about the top achievers from the highest rated reality show, American Idol. In February this year Billboard Magazine published an article listing the all time Top 24 American Idol contestants.

ADAM LAMBERT was placed in the 9th spot by Billboard. I disagree with that placement then and believe that ADAM LAMBERT will eventually be the most successful American Idol ever…”

Regardless of whether Adam is noted as the most 'successful Idol' ever, there is life outside AI and it's called the entire world! Adam is an international star and although many countries watched AI live, just as the US did, everyone has moved on to greater heights for Adam. If he decides to take over as a Judge so be it, Adam will ensure he makes the right moves and if that happens, taking him into homes all over the world, sure hope he makes lots of money in the process. Darn he works his butt off thesedays.

Universe put Adam here not to be punish.

He is here to show us how valuable life is and to explore your ability to hold on what you are capable of to survive.

He is the best example for many of us not to be afraid to get what you want as long as you don't step another foot to get there:)

He is very courageous and not afraid to speak up!!! My Rock God!!!!

JAK here.....this is way way OT
feel free to scroll on by.

As many of you know I occasionally complain or make fun of Tampa,FL.
I'd like to express a few words of praise...our police force was led to believe there would be violent protests during the RNC convention and beefed up the force with officers from all over the state.
There was no violence...zip...nada.
Total number of arrests-2 ! We have way more than that at a Tampa Bay Bucs game! The protests were orderly and except for causing some traffic glitches uneventful.
The weather conditions were awful (as I predicted) and the police force handed out box lunches and cold drinks to the protestors...sort of curb service!
Our Chief of Police is a super great, openly gay lesbian and a smart cookie. She was welcomed and many in the picket lines asked to have their photo taken with her.
Under her direction crime in Tampa has decreased almost 50 %.

I'm hoping Charlotte comes thru the DNC as well as Tampa did!
That's it, just giving credit where it's due. Thanks Jane Castor, girls rule!!!

The article was really eye-opening. Anyone who doubts Adam's success is quite mistaken. And his energies are so focused and directed on increasing his success. He works very hard. He has all the attributes of a long-term star. WE KNOW THAT!!

"The love that Adam Lambert generates will overcome the hate that attempts to hold him back."

I think this is worthy of quoting from the article that Anon 10:09 PM posted here.

Adam shows such poise and patience in the face of hate. It must be disheartening at times, but he is very classy. IF he gets the AI job, he'll get LOTS of hate backlash, just wait. He will really have to buck up and get through it, and so will we. The haters will be out in force. If he doesn't get the job, he'll still handle it with class. Then he'll just keep working his butt off as the best singer on Planet Earth.
