daydreamin You never fail with your Click here Click there! lol! That was superb and the sound was really good, so sound technician, you are forgiven. lol! The only thing still, is focus more on Adam's vocals. Oh I laughed so loudly, screamed, at Adam's foolery especially when he pretended to cry under the piano. lol! Superb clowning Adam and NeNe; don't know her from Adam's, now I know. lol! Yes Adam is a natural host. And I simply love that antique sign-coat; reminds me of the child in Adam; kids wear this kind of carefree, shapeless clothing. lol! The opening David Bowie no. is smashing. But I still like the Ray of Light a lot, despite it being slightly off-key. Hmm he is probably booked for next year's Divas! What an electrifying audience; they adore Adam! Hey, Thank you daydreamin! Satisfied, good enough for me. No more complaints. lol!
Lambert joined Kelly Rowland and Keri Hilson for a medley in honor of the memory of the late disco diva, Donna Summer, who was posthumously inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (Class of 2013). They sang such hits as “Bad Girls,” “She Works Hard for the Money,” “Hot Stuff” and they concluded with “Last Dance.”
Lambert paid homage to yet another influence of his, Madonna, for her success in the dance scene since she holds the most No. 1 dance songs in Billboard history. After a brief video tribute to the Queen of Pop, Lambert performed a soaring rendition of “Ray of Light” (with white laser lights in the background), which is certain to make the “Material Girl” herself proud.
The Verdict
It is safe to say that in this year's “Vh1 Divas” special, the divas themselves were upstaged by their host, Adam Lambert who proved that he is at the top of his game, both vocally and artistically.
Thank you, thank you. What a wonderful big clear picture. I don't even mind that watching even for a short time the 'rays of light' (lasers) trigger a wicked migraine headache! (One reason I don't go to concerts)....but Adam is worth a few hours with an ice pack freezing my brain, so I'll probably watch this often.
Hi! I'm at work surfing around your blog from my new iphone 3gs! Just wanted to say I love reading through your blog and look forward to all your posts! Carry on the superb work! My page :: benefits of digestive enzymes
Remember the days when we had to go to the library to look for pictures of our heartthrobs in magazines? This blog is great and thank you all for sharing your research and observations, especially Adumluv's and Glitzlady's recent narratives. Adam was funny, relaxed, and professional at the Diva's. Loved it.
I absolutely love the Vimeo compilation of only the Adam parts of the Diva show. I've watched it at least 6 times just this morning! Each time I watch it I'm more and more impressed with Adam's talents....I knew he could clown around but his comedic timing is superb!
I couldn't appreciate the full impact of Adam when I was at the show because so much was going on every moment and really I couldn't get my eyes off of Adam and comprehend how much he had to do. Now that we have this condensed video I see just how fantastic he was from all perspectives. If SNL doesn't ask Adam to host/perform, they are missing the boat big time.
Interesting to learn that Sauli helped with the design of the ROL toga. The write-up on all Adam's Diva outfits was very interesting. A lot of work and planning went into each of them.
