Adam Lambert is featured on Huffingtonpost's "Gay Cultural Moments Of 2012" list. He is #2.
Adam Lambert Tops Charts
The "American Idol" alum made history in May when he became the first openly gay male artist to top the Billboard album charts.
Lambert snagged the No. 1 spot with his sophomore effort, "Trespassing," which sold 77,000 copies in its first week, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Though other gay performers like Elton John and George Michael have hit No. 1, they did so only before they came out.

Not to forget to mention that Adam was featured prominently in the main intro to the entire article:
"With 2012 being an incredibly historic year for the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community, it's only fitting that the cultural scene be reflective of that ever-inclusive shift.
And indeed, the year in music, movies, TV and theater is similarly flush with milestones. "American Idol" alum Adam Lambert not only hosted VH1's popular "Divas Live" show this fall, but he also became the first openly gay pop artist to top the album charts back in May. "Days of our Lives" featured a steamy gay storyline while "Glee" welcomed a transgender character to its increasingly diverse cast, and although Jenna Talackova didn't take home the title of Miss Universe Canada, the transgender beauty queen leaves behind a groundbreaking legacy that is sure to live on in years to come."
Adam is in the history books, for sure. He's brave and smart. He didn't choose the easy road when he decided to come out at the very start of his recording career. His legacy will be important. Adam, we love you!

I am just ecstatic for all the Glamberts' efforts in pushing Trespassing to the top of Billboard's charts when it was released last May catapulting ADAM into history making endeavor where it matters and cannot be erased.
I congratulate ADAM for Trespassing and all the Glamberts for their efforts.

Lindsay Parker's top 10 list for 2012 is out- TP is #2
I am so proud of Adam and all his hard work and the HP for the recognition.
maybe admin can post Linsay's list too.Might as well get them all out there. lol
Wonderful news from HP - a great site. . . . Adamluv
I will believe on all of this reviews about Adam only after GLAAD will nominate Adam for his achivements during the last year.He deserves to be nominated by GLAAD more than anybody else!
I just posted on the top thread, but here again: it would be nice if the Grammys had Adam either present or perform on the show in Feb. TP became #1, and this fact had great significance. It would be appropriate if the Grammys would pay respect to Adam for his courage by letting him present or perform. Probably won't happen, but we can dream.
GLAAD should step up to the plate, too, IMO.

(How can we convince the Grammys that Adam's achievement is worthy of a Grammy appearance? he had guts. Why don't they?)
That's wonderful for Adam.
Who is number 1?
Thanks glitzylady for posting the link to that photo. <3 I think Melvin is on his way back.
