The bottom pic, must have been when Adam worked on the cruise ship. The top one , I don't know what to say, unless he took the pic.

Whoa, Adam you look good anyway you want to portray yourself. There is also a photo of handsome Sauli with the aurora-borealis background. The second photo...Adam was really young then; hardly would he have imagined what was going to happen.

Love ADAM's posture and his butt!

Love Adam's pre-Idol stuff. Proves that his Idol performances were just the tip of the iceberg. He was and IS so much more!

Adam dressed as a drag queen. Why do people put them up here?

JAK here.....I have photos of myself in bib overalls, undershirt, bandana and long droopy mustache and straw hat as emcee of a Hee Haw Honeys skit, I wouldn't want it shown, but at the time it was fun! Of that group above, the only one attractive enough to dress up like a girl was Adam! I'm 77 and still have a 'dress up' box! I shall be resplendant on Christmas Eve!!!

The top picture was from Adam's time in Europe in the musical Hair, when he was 21.

Has to be taken in context here.
Adam is and will always be Adam and darn we love him for that.

Anonymous said...

Glitzylady, you are right. I remember someone asking him if he was embarrassed when they all went nude at the end of the show, he said no, because he had a fan. Sure got a lot more fans now LOL

Some of Adam's fans are his worst enemies. They find and post unflattering pictures of his youth, pictures with former boyfriends and any male on the planet, and intimate moment pictures with Sauli. I know that these fans mean well, but they can't see that what they're doing is no better than the National Enquirer and the paparazzi. Adam has a dedicated loyal fanbase, it's strange that some of them are so intrusive and entwine in his personal life.

@1:10 A.M., context wasn't given

@3:12 A.M., Adam said that nude pictures where under lock and key. Meaning that he's proud of his work, but wouldn't want the pictures on public display.

I don't get it. Why do people put intimate or embarrasing photos on the internet. They are there forever.

Actually... why do some of YOU feel that these pictures need to bring up embarrassment. I don't always agree with Glitzylady, but I do agree with her tone and tenor here. THIS too is a very strong part of Adam, right til this very day, this very moment. It seems to me, I don't know him but from what he continues to put in the public domain, it seems that he still loves dress up, etc., and would not be embarrassed about his past, present, or future choices in the realm of fun/fashion/fantasy etc. Perhaps some of YOU are embarrassed, I suspect Adam isn't; when pictures like these come out, with him dressed up or in drag or whatever, I'd bet a million he isn't embarrassed. It is PART of who he is, even NOW, deal with it. It plays into the point I made the other day about types like Sam Champion, NPH, Jesse Tyler Ferguson... sure, they are accepted, because they are not too too left of center... but Adam is quite left of center (makeup almost ALWAYS, non traditional dress etc) and chooses to be himself and when a news outlet or magazine or whatever still chooses to highlight what a great guy he is, I think THAT is a big step towards equality. Sometimes there's Neil Patrick Harris and sometimes there's RuPaul and sometimes there's Anderson Cooper and sometimes there's Adam Lambert... when we can celebrate what Adam Lambert and RuPaul bring to the table in the same MAINSTREAM way that we celebrate what Neil Patrick Harris and Matt Bomer and the like bring to the table, then that will be a wonderful huge step!! JMO. But, I'd venture to guess that Adam is not the embarrassed one when pictures of this nature come out! JMO

6:29 is that unusual or something? I noticed you posted that on two threads.

JMO,thanks for the insightful comments. How many times have we heard Adam say to lighten up, it's not that serious? He has also said he isn't one to have regrets. I love that Adam is successful by being his real "left of center" self and not trying to mold himself into what might attract more fans. His success (and I think it is mighty) is in spite of dress up, make-up, etc. That is admirable.

7:45 and carolynj: Thank you! I love pictures of Adam from all eras of his life. It's why I love him. HE IS DIFFERENT FROM THE OTHERS! His own fans should have accepted that fact by now. If you a gay performer to be more mainstream, then follow NPH or someone more conventional. (I happen to really LIKE NPH, BTW.) I agree that Adam is probably NOT embarrassed by these pictures. He has said it's not that deep. Don't take everything so seriously. His unconventionality is what sets him apart. Otherwise, he'd just blend into a big group of other blah people. Adam is left of center and likely will not change to please others' arbitrarly wishes. Thank God for that.

@Anon 7:45 AM
I agree with you. I don't feel these pictures would be embarrassing to Adam, any more than some old pictures from my past would be to me (the ones from my middle school and early high school ugly duckling days..Braces, weird hair, weirder glasses..yikes!) .. LOL!! I personally think these pics are cute, and its fun to see Adam as he was ten years ago, just as he was discovering himself, and beginning the process of being comfortable in his own skin, as he likes to put it sometimes.. He has such a good sense of humor about himself and unless these pictures were hacked from his private Facebook acct. or something like that..what's the harm. I ALSO agree that any embarrassment lies in the eyes of a few fans. Although I do get that we are sometimes protective of him and don't want others to say cruel or disrespectful things about him. I also disagree slightly with those who didn't feel the Adam/Sauli moments at the Divas after party should have been shared. I don't know for sure obviously, but it seems that Adam perhaps felt comfortable to kiss Sauli in "public"..because even tho it was technically a Private party, I would guess that he was aware that there were a fair amount of his own fans there and there would be cameras/phones recording it..much to everyone's surprise and delight. And fans share pictures. I was there but didn't see the kiss (I was busy enjoying a party-sponsor Smirnoff vodka drink-a "Dancing Diva", doing a little Diva Dancing myself..and schmoozing with the other party goers) so only saw Adam and Sauli et al afterward. Someone here said it was "dark" in there so they probably thought no one would see them kiss. No, it was plenty light enough...So whether A & S wanted the pics out there or not..there they are. I personally thought they were incredibly sweet. A perfect moment in time. I would feel very different about the pictures if they were taken with a telephoto lens while they were in the privacy of their home or backyard by the pool..or while they were having a private moment in an intimate and romantic restaurant setting... And quite honestly it shouldn't be that big a deal, when we think about it. Would we be having this discussion if it were a heterosexual couple, for instance Beyonce and her husband Jay Z? Somehow I don't think so. Or my husband and myself, stealing a quick kiss in a setting such as that party? (Not that anyone would care.. :))) I wouldn't think twice about it. I do understand that we have to draw the line somewhere..I get that, but seeing the quick kiss pics, the other picture posted here on 24/7 of Sauli looking at Adam with such love in his eyes.. Just incredibly beautiful moments between two lovely men..in love with each other. I would be interested to know if Adam and Sauli were upset to see those pictures published in places such as this blog. They certainly made the Twitter rounds.. If they were, I would certainly understand but somehow I think they would be okay with it. I hope so....

Just got my new Time magazine in the mail today. It lists their top five People of the Year. Politics aside, each person they chose has drive, committment, strong goals and energy to achieve them. Madonna told Adam to keep his eyes on the prize. He is trying to do that in his own way, not in our way.

I also don't think it is as much a privacy issue as a discomfort issue for some. Clearly the path to acceptance is gaining comfort with and knowledge of differences. It's just a kiss and I agree, it would not even be mentioned if it was between a man and woman. This is Adam--in love with a man.

glitzylady...I like your POV. I think Adam and Sauli knew perfectly well what they were doing at that afterparty:) Sure it was more intimate occasion, but our boys are intelligent and they knew fans are around with hi tech equipments:D They love each other and were willing to share the joy of it. And there was affection shown in the red carpet too:)I think it wasn´t an invasion of their privacy...and most certainly don´t think they would be upset about it. At least I hope not. It would be a whole other story if the pics were taken somewhere else (like grocery store:D)Beautiful couple, strong team...Loosen up people...I would think that´s what Adam would tell us:)

There are people who will never be satisfied with the way Adam and Sauli handle their relationship, that´s just the way it is. Some want kissing pictures and relationship talk, because otherwise their relationship is in trouble! Some say kissing pictures invade their privacy. Well it´s THEIR relationship, so they are the ones who are entitled to say what they want us to know. They have a strong, healthy love going on and pictures tell us just that. So happy they´ve found each other:) And I think they wanted us to see that too:)wilma
