Agree with Adam on this one for sure! Love it. It sounds sort of like Adam's voice and also the type of song he would do.

This is why I think Runnin would have been a great single It's so badass too and has the rock vibe.Maybe Adam will go more this direction next album. Of course want to hear some beautiful ballads too with minimal production.

Sorry for the double post. my computer is acting wonky today.

I like the beat. I can imagine Adam singing this also.

Some kind of Trespassing beat.

Reminds me of Runnin, which Adam didn't put on his album. So don't quite understand why he likes that song so much. His song is 100% better.

@ 1:27 P.M.....JAK here.... your computer may be wonky but your ears aren't. While I was listening to the song, during the wails...I was hearing "O-O-O-O-O-O
I'm comin alive" ditto ditto.
Then I read your post. I'm wondering if this song had one of the same writers or producers Runnin had? Some of the wails sound reminiscent of the ones in Take Back too.

I think this is one of the very few songs Adam has tweeted about that I actually like, probably because it does sound Adamish! Damn, why couldn't they have released Runnin and Take Back with videos, I'm sure they would have sold more than BTIKM and NCOE. They are both good songs but introspective not blood stirring!

Adam, on the new album...please please some of these!

THE COST OF BEING ON AMERICAN IDOL

Ever wonder whether ADAM LAMBERT paid for those outrageous "Glambert" costumes he wore on the eighth season? The answer is yes -- and no.
"They go on a shopping trip with a fashion consultant who works on the show and they get like $450 a week to spend on whatever they want," says Rushfield.
"But a lot of them dip into their own pocket because a few hundred dollars doesn't go that far in a lot of these expensive stores in Hollywood. The clothes are theirs to keep after the show."

In 2010, the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists, or AFTRA, paid each top 24 contestant a performance fee: $1,571 plus meals for two-hour “Idol” shows, $1,303 for one-hour shows and $910 for half-hour results shows. It's likely changed since then.
However, to get paid these amounts, contestants must join AFTRA. While they used to have to fork over $1,600 to join, with the new SAG-AFTRA merger, new contestants will need to pay $3,000 to join the union.
The biggest payday for most of the top 12 is the summer tour. "They get around $150,000 for four or five months of touring," says Rushfield.

A far bigger expense falls to the contestants' families.
"They don't provide travel or expenses for families," he says. "That's the expense that causes the most trouble for Idols and their families."
To ease the pain, an Orange County minister and his wife extended their ministry and their home to the families of Jason Castro, Kristy Lee Cook, Syesha Mercado, Danny Gokey and many others.
The ministry itself became an unofficial part of the extended Idol family.
"Danny Gokey had some huge number of brothers and sisters," says Rushfield. "There were like 20 Gokey family members living there."

William Hung may have been denied a golden ticket to Hollywood, but Hung currently ranks 26th in record sales among "Idol" alumni, according to Billboard.
His 2004 album, "Inspiration," sold 240,000 copies, reached No. 34 on the Billboard 200 charts and spawned a 40-minute day-in-the-life DVD.
Not a bad payday from a couple gallons of gas and parking for the audition.

I really like the song too...it sure sounds like an Adam song....same kinda high, soaring wails.

Runnin is a different sound to me but I'm crazy about it and I agree it would have made a fantastic single with a video!
No one can match Adam's voice or range though. Plus his stage presence? He owns that hands down.

@JAK This is 1:27 glad you agree with me. I think your post is right on the money. My teenage daughter, while not a huge fan of Adam like I am, does think he can really sing. Her favorite song is Take Back which surprised me. Thought she would go more for the pop type songs on the album. Really making me look forward to what album #3 will sound like. Lots to look forward to on our ride with Adam!

ADAM on my Yahoo News today with the article above.

Just listened to this song - and had similar thoughts as many of you...

- could HEAR Adam singing THIS with much BETTER-ER, more NUANCED, UNSURPASSED VOICE (no autotune etc)...
- could hear RUNNIN echoing in my brain...
- could SEE Adam singing in THIS video, in his BLACK ZIPPER PANTS with BLACK LEATHER JACKET...

and here I go again, oh my...LOL

GGD Gal, :))))

Adam has lots of praise for other singers. Let's hope he gets a big hit of his own this year and get some praise back! Good song.

@ GGD Gal

Take it easy, try breathing into a paper bag, it helped @ rose petal when she watched him performing in NYC.....you know the "zippy pants"
night!......JAK

Those zippy pants need to make many reappearances!!! Hopefully Adam will wear them on his Asia tour.maybe I should go with him in case one of his zippers gets stuck I can help Adam. lol You all will want to fight me for that job!

Adam this is much better than the songs that you liked before. A hook on this one ( a riff). Good beat. Real foot stumping music. I like it!!

Randy Jackson did compare Adam to fallout boy on American Idol. hahaha

LOVE this song! First Fall Out Boy song I've heard. I don't think it sounds like Runnin' at all. This song has its own sound. Fabulous - had it on repeat last night and I'm really hard to please; hence, I'm a died in the wool Glambert! :-D

Never heard of this band and not really the type of music I like.

like this song but adam lambeert is not singing this song therefore i only want adam lambert.

Meh. It's over produced and fuzzy. Doesn't sound like the old Fall Out Boy with Pete Wentz. Sorry, I don't always like Adam's picks in music, but I do think it would be nice if some of these people returned the courtesy to Adam once in a while.

It doesn't sound like Runnin all the way through, only the wailing part. Actually Runnin doesn't sound like the usual Adam with that lower register, but he does have that wail, oooooo coming alive. That song gives me chills.

Interesting song. I'm not surprised Adam likes it. The lead singer is good. I don't always like Adam's choice of songs either but I really like this song.

I agree with most of you in that this seems to be one of the few I've liked. It's really too bad my favorites from last 2 albums he's never sung live:( I have high hopes for his 3rd album to be more of a rock vibe.

Please God make Adam appear in a music video in his zippy pants! (sigh)...........nancdruuu2

I didn't even listen all the way through. Didn't like it at all, but I love all of Adam's songs. Just my opinion.
