I'm not trying to be a wet-blanket on these games that people are so hooked onto; but I think they're too addictive and tend to kill the imagination and suck the life out of it. Young minds should be trained to be creative, curious and not be bogged down or obsessed with beating or worse killing off those deemed their 'enemies', often depicted in these games. From the art point of view like the Rift game, it's artistic, futuristic, imaginative and yes makes tons of money; a kind of exploitation I tend to think.

Japan certainly gave Adam a warm welcome! Now off to Shanghai to his lucky Chinese fans! Very surprised to see Adam endorse a video game, but another opportunity I guess to get his name out there. Just hope this one isn't blood and guts violent. I agree with Lam-my and think kids should put their brains to better use. I think the violence desensitizes and isn't the best example for children. Imagination is a great gift.

If Einstein had immersed himself in these kinds of addictive games, I wonder if he would have enough brain energy left to imagine the universe and come up with all kinds of mind-boggling theories. But being a genius, he might have invented games that last till today and made tons of money from them. As for the universe...well lol!
