It is hard to believe a person can be so tiny for an adult. She has a purpose in this world and it is to help others who have suffered some kind of pain. She is definitely a fighter. very inspiring

Lizzie is better coordinated than I am judging from her cheer leading. ^_^

Do we know when her film will be or has been finished?

What a fantastic ATTITUDE!!!

Some people have a gift for living not just existing. I think this young lady has the gift. I send her my best wishes for a future of continuing achievements.

And I send Adam and his troops off to conquer new cities,
New cultures and new fans. May they stay safe and well.
Happy touring and we look forward to nice clear videos of the performances and I, for one, promise not to complain or insult any member of the band. Only roses and diamonds will fall from my lips no frogs or toads.

Godspeed to our wonderful Adam Lambert and his band. I can't help from getting tears in my eyes that you are leaving us for 6 weeks-I always feel so good to know that you only live a few hours from me, (I am in Scottsdale, AZ), but you will now be so far away from us. May God and the Universe bless you and keep you until you safely return to your beloved fans here in the United States. Break a leg!! (This statement is a good omen). Love, Scottsdale, AZ

Sharing here how a song being played/heard can push it even the Grammys:

FUN SHOULD HAVE THANKED RYAN MURPHY at the GRAMMYS AND GOTYE TOO

“When little known New York indie band Fun released We Are Young as the lead single for their second studio album Some Nights in September 2011, it went largely unnoticed, only garnering some attention from online critics and quickly fading off the Billboard Hot 100 after debuting at No. 53.

But then Fox’s Glee covered the song for a pivotal scene in a December 2011 episode, sending sales for the single soaring 1,650%. The show put We Are Young on the map and back on the charts.
The song’s subsequent use in a Chevrolet Sonic commercial during the 2012 Super Bowl pushed it to No. 1.

Tonight, We Are Young won a Grammy for best new song, with Fun named best new artist.
Gotye’s Somebody That I Used to Know, which landed the coveted Record Of The Year prize, too got a strong boost when performed on Glee in a talked about scene. (He also won for best Alternative album.)

Gotye’s original had premiered at No. 91 in the US in January 2012. It wasn’t until the Glee cover by Matt Bomer and Darren Criss on April 10 kicked off a string of high-profile performances of the song, including by Phillip Phillips on American Idol the next nighT."

ADAM LAMBERT Cover Rihanna's "Stay"

http://popcrush.com/adam-lambe...

"As if we needed reminding that ADAM LAMBERT was awesome. The ‘Trespassing’ singer covered Rihanna‘s ‘Stay’ and absolutely shamed anyone who will sing that song for the rest of time".

What a beautiful, enduring spirit. How anyone could bully this sweet, brave soul is beyond me. This video is sure to move many and hopefully have them stand up to prevent further cruelty to others. I never realized the extent of the bullying and inhumanity until seeing so much of it on social media. So disheartening, but I've also seen celebtities like Adam, as well as fans step up and refuse to tolerate it. Each person can make a difference.

This sweet young girl is such an inspiration to all.

@JAK- "No frogs or toads" from your lips? Just roses and diamonds"? Did they change your meds and you didn't let us (your good friends) know?

"The world is ready for anthemic classics that make us feel good." Tweet to Adam from Nile a few threads back. Adam listen to the master...he's right.

Very Interesting.....

The following did not win a Grammy during the 1950’s or 1960’s:

Paul Anka, Beach Boys, Chuck Berry, Pat Boone, Dave Clark Five, Sam Cooke, Neil Diamond, Fats Domino, Drifters, Everly Brothers, 4 Seasons, Connie Francis, Marvin Gaye, Brenda Lee, Jerry Lee Lewis, Little Richard, Dean Martin, Miracles, Roy Orbison, Platters, Righteous Brothers, Rolling Stones, Supremes and Jackie Wilson.

Some of them did, but it wasn’t until the 70’s or 80’s. Some of them got Lifetime Achievement Awards, but not a Grammy.

Adam has a lot of time and many Grammy's to come.

What kind of people make fun of this girl? Sometimes I think this country has no soul. Glad our beautiful soul Adam is a part of the documentary.

@ nancdruuu2......was it Phil or Don who made your young heart pitter patter? With the exception of about 4 on that list they are all favorites of mine. They are my "car music" Roy Orbison, The Drifters, Sam Cooke, great. I danced myself into a puddle of sweat at Jerry Lee Lewis, Fats Domino and Little Richard concerts! And, oh, slow dancing to The Platters and The Righteous Brothers.........sigh........
Excuse me I'm gonna go plant a kiss on my spouse for old times sake! That'll shake him up!..JAK

Wonder how Rihanna feels about Adam's keek, he's kind of outshining her at the moment? We know he can out sing her, though I do think her video of this song is very good. Adam should hire the director who does her videos, they are usually good. They sometimes remind me of Michael Jackson's mini movies.

Angry one, who gives you the right
To spread your hate and prejudice
That blocks out love and light.
To cut me with your ugly words
As if you were someone, and not
Just a bully, proud of what you’ve done.
Angry one, if things changed
I wonder what you’d do,
Could you stand in front of me
While I assault and accuse.
Angry one, do you hurt and cry when you’re alone,
Should my heart break for you, should my sprit moan?
Angry one, I pity you for may never mend.
You may never feel true love
Or the comfort of a friend.
But I’ve no time for you, for life is drawing near.
And my life will be so sweet, without your hate and fear...rose petal

@rose petal - beautiful, so appropriate and so true!

@JAK - Sadly, I can't think that far back - Phil or Don? I know I had a favorite, but it escapes me -
only the feeling of what true love must be like remains. I do have a vivid memory of waiting for my school bus (junior high I think) and talking to the girls excitedly about what song went #1 on the radio. Those were the days! Oh wait a minute - nothings changed - I'm still waiting for Adam's songs to be #1!...........nancdruuu2

@ rose petal.....JAK here

ooooooooooo, really good....brava!

@nancdruu2
Will all wait on that bus together .... You Jak and I can all sit up front...
.... I don't know why but I get the felling #3.. is gonna be amazing ....with all the buzz Adam cause with the cover of Stay ...maybe others are seeing what we see....and thanks to both you and JAK.... My heart went out to that young woman... tried to write something she would be able to say ... That's how I felt.... Rose petal

Anonymous said...

@rose petal - You did a fabulous job communicating those feelings to that sweet young woman! I'm sure your poem touched others on this site who may now or at some time suffered from such horrid abuse.

@rose petal and @JAK
On a lighter note, I would be proud to sit up front on the bus, that is the Adam Lambert Dream Machine, with you and JAK and others who share in the wish for a number one radio hit/hits for our Superstar who is Adam!..nancdruuu2

Anonymous said...

Sorry girls...the front of my school bus was cleaner and quieter....but the back of the bus was more fun, noisy, gum chewing gigglers, "couples" , art and theater kids
and we sang. We got dirty looks from the bus driver in the rear view mirror, but as long as we stayed in our seat we were okay. Sit in the back with me....we'll sing Cuckoo, Strut,IIHY and Born to be Wild!.....JAK

@ JAK
You have a point, many years ago I lost all my sence and took a job as a school bus driver. I can certainly agree that the back did seem to have the most fun. I had this one boy, who always sat in the back, we'll call him "WILL YOU STOP!!!" His little sister had really long hair one day she fell a sleep, he was sitting behind her and tied her hair to his lunch box. When he woke her to get off, the heavy lunch box pulled her hair, and the fight was on. That was one of his milder attacks, he must have been having an off day. I finally had no chioce I had to move him closer to me. In the 3 weeks he sat behind me, he put gum in my hair, squirted me with water guns and put a lizard on me. I wrote him up time after time, but his uncle was a football coach. They pretty much told me I'd just have to put up with him. So, I sent him to the back again, but the bus was never full and I moved everyone else to the front, problem solved. So I think your right it's glamberts to the back, thats the place to raise some hell...rose petal

rose petal, thank you for sharing your poem .. HH

@JAK 4:36 My sassy mouth gets me in trouble at times. I've been trying to cut down.

@rose petal - Thanks for being so kind and caring to sue. Sue, you keep on keepin' on girl.

I posted the info about those great artists who didn't win a grammy in the 50's and 60's but I didn't tag. One of the E Bros was gay as was my favorite, Johnny Mathis. Also, had he not died so young, I think we would have learned more about Sam Cooke.

My sister had mono and was so sick that I thought I'd be nice to her and leave our portable 45 record player with a big stack of 45's on it. When I got home from school 7 hours later she was in tears and hoarsely begged me to turn off the record player...she never wanted to hear Bye Bye Love ever again. The stack of 45's played through, but the top one repeated over and over for 4 hours and she was too sick to get out of bed and turn it off. We laugh about it now, but it wasn't one bit funny to her then.

Oh, I just read that Taylor Swift is on the cover of Elle soon and in the interview she talks about how she has never chased boys. Yeah, uh huh, and I don't visit 24-7 every day...

@7:14 I just saw RiRi's video of Stay. She is sitting naked in a bathtub thru the whole thing. Not that there's anything wrong with that - it's fine for her. But, I was just picturing Adam sitting naked in a bathtub and singing Stay. WOW, what a vid. Should get a lot of views.

Anonymous said...

She wasn't in a bathtub in the video of Stay I saw!

Two videos?

The video of RiRi singing Stay while sitting in a bathtub was on the IHeartRadio website.
