Seeing a list of songs Adam is now listening to and reading some of his other new recommendations, I wonder what focus/style his new album will take. I know he needs songs that will be radio friendly and that listeners want to hear. He must appeal to as wide a range of people as he can since he already has the older, more mature audience(mostly female) already. We all want this album to be a success and bring him the recognition he so deserves in the music business here at home. Hopefully the third time will be the charm.

I liked all the songs. Better than rap or electronic, the voices were predominate and real. Fallout Boy slightly different I liked that, but hated the video. Too violent for me.

Listened to them all....only liked one, snoop song has a good beat and lyrics are okay. Won't share my opinions of others I'm too tired to be beat up and it's past midnight.......

OT - but this is the first sentence in an article from USAToday about this year's Idol final four:

"We're down to the Final Four and at least two of them — Candice Glover and Kree Harrison — are better singers than anyone Idol has found since Adam Lambert."

Even tho I'm guessing these two girls aren't anywhere near as good as Adam (I don't watch AI), I LOVE the comment about Adam!

Candice is a very good talented singer but I don't really like her voice and all the embellishments.
Kree on the other hand sings effortlessly beautifully just naturally and I love love her tone of voice.
I will buy Kree's album although I am not into country and would love to see her sing live.
Candice can sing the hell out of a song but I will not buy her record or go to her concert.

I am voting for Angie Miller though Candance is truly amazing. She is definitely as talented as Jennifer Hudson. She will go far but I prefer Angie's style and voice.

Candice Glover is incredible. In terms of overall talent, I think this is the best season since season 8.

HEY! Everybody hoping the 3rd album will be good...HIS SECOND ALBUM IS GOOD. Yet we didn't hear half the songs from it. MAP is an amazing track I loved BY THE RULES yet he sang someone else's reggae song. /Runnin and Take Back are just great. I don't get why Adam does not sing these songs. There is plenty of material that no one has heard. Whatever he decides to sing is good. I also wish we heard "Stay" some more even though it is Rihanna song.

Adam's second album was good. It received positive reviews overall from the music critics. However, for whatever the reasons, and we have all speculated about them, there wasn't a single that received radio play. The listening audience is young and fickle and doesn't really care about talent and a great voice. Many of today's pop stars are auto-tuned and more style than substance. Somehow Adam has to find the right mix to make the third album one that the listening public will want to buy and want to listen to its singles on the radio.

I won't even venture to address it here with my personal opinions... but I will say that I'd guess that Adam would be quite comfortable with your feelings about the video, because they are your feelings! The lyrics have a few racy lines too. I don't know Adam other than what he has always put out for public consumption so as to allow us to get to know him better, but I would say from following him these past years that he doesn't want us to like something because he does, or because he asks us to, it seems to me that he just asks people to remain open to new experiences and such. IDK, JMO :).

Come on 6:43, Adam said it is what he is LISTENING to, not what videos he is watching. And Adam never said you had to like it. The video isn't on Youtube and I'm sure we wont be seeing the unedited version there or on tv so no children's eyes are being harmed. And the women are topless, not nude. You haven't seen a lot of current videos, have you?

I LOVE USA Today's comment about ADAM! I was wondering if anyone was going to admit Adam was the best! I have been watching idol and I adore listening to Candace, Kree and Amber!
All three are different, but I am partial to Kree because her voice is so beautiful. But, like I said I love all three and would be happy with whoever wins. Having said that, NO ONE compares to ADAM!

Why don't you tell that to everyone who has fought for civil rights or equality. If it wasn't for people refusing to turn their heads, we wouldn't have made the strides we have made in areas of human rights - and yes that means rights for women as well as gays and other minorities. Don't take for granted the hard work accomplished by people who came before you. They are the reason that you have the privaleges you have today.

LOL, there is a big difference between turn your head from civil rights issues and turn the channel if you don't like it. Two totally different issues. I would never say turn your head from a crime but I would say change the radio station if you don't like what is on.

Late to the topic but finally got a chance to listen to some of these songs. Not getting into the discussion about the videos.

But I LOOOOVE the Fall Out Boys song "Young Volcanos" In fact, I bought the album. Couple of their songs I don't like..but the rest are good, IMO. Sir Elton John sings on the Album title song "Save Rock and Roll". The music is generally upbeat, good vocals, and catchy. "Young Volcanos" is really Bruno Mars-ish.. and I've been hitting replay to listen to it in my car today...

Now I need to check out the rest of the songs on Adam's playlist...I don't always like all of his recommendations, but he probably wouldn't agree with some of mine either..so we're even :)))
