I have always thought Kara was great on Idol... and not just because of her recognition of Adam's uber talent. I have not watched all that much since season 8, but I truly think she had excellent advice and comments to all the contestant season 8, and especially for the top 6. I know I am in a small minority when I say I think her own career path brought a lot to that show. Look her up, she's a fascinating study in making it, not making it, readjusting of one's dreams, etc.
Could listen to that note over and over and over and over
well, you get the point :).
Of my Idol AI8 songs, that is the one my ipod settings tell me I listen to the most, lol. The vocal is simply stunning.
I listen to his post Idol albums and those albums' bonus tracks etc much much more than AI8 material, but nobody can deny his short body of work on that show was mesmerizing and stunning and a downright skillful mini masterpiece. :)
@8:41 - I also liked Kara and her addition to Idol. if she'd been a man there would have been no problem but since she was a woman they tried to create an animosity between her and Paula since as we all know, women cant get along with each other - rolls her eyes. Totally sexist behavior and comments against her. . . . Adamluv
Kara made a lot of gaffs that got her some bad press. Most of them when talking to Adam, maybe he made her nervous! And she was snippy to Simon. I didn't expect to see her back the next year. But I did love it when she stripped to show up bikini girl!
I loved when Adam said, "Be yourself, be genuine" No small feat, but Adam does it perfectly. Think about it, how many people are their real selves. Adam committed to being real, sometimes to his detriment. In the end, he won over millions of fans around the world. Yes Adam, people know when you're faking it and I believe that's one reason Adam has been rewarded! And as far as a gay role model, he should win every award in my book! nancdruuu2

I like Kara's comments almost as much as I love 'Feeling Good'. I think she's trying to say Adam is a huge 'Turn On'
No Idol before or after has come even close to the magic of Adam Lambert!!!!!!!!

Right on GMT.

Kara was so taken with Adam that she wrote STRUT for him. A nice gift to his fans - I love that song.

I really liked Kara. She seemed fair & I was very disappointed when she left. Love Strut. :)
