Hey Adam, yea, you're wearing the Sing shirt you wore at your interview here; hmm you were recording an AI segment; no inkling whatsoever. Yea the tall buildings outside the window; I'll try and see if I can tell where you were, on tonight's AI tv show. You look so clean-cut and handsome. No wonder you were pretty excited at our Sing concert. You gave us two encores and I like the way you yelled: Singapore, you know how to partay! lol!

The segment on Idol featuring world superstar Adam Lambert was worth the wait. He looked he handsome and we now know for sure he will be on the finale.

I felt sad that Angie was eliminated because I think she had the best technically trained voice. Kree should have gone home but I think her sad story of family loss brought in tons of votes and also she is from the south which is voters country.

I was so happy to see all the new threads....thank you admin glad to have you back.

I like the way Adam put his index finger up and said: And I will show you! Boy, did he mean every word of that.
This Top3 moment S12 reminded me of Adam, Top3 S8; he covered his face quickly with his black gloved hand when his name was announced for Top2.

I saw a comment on the Life Ball thread about Adam having beautiful teeth and thought - say what? They must have meant to post here. He DOES have beautiful teeth! Wouldn't want a camera going that far into my mouth.

Adam will be singing next week. The finale showcases all of the contestants. She just won't have as prime a spot on the show. Sad about that but Adam is the right partner for Angie right now - he will tell her that it doesn't matter whether you win or not. She was so upset last night, her exit song was hard to watch.

Be still my heart! Adam has to be on Idol next week because Ryan said so!haha! He is the boss you know! I'm sure he will be on. Ryan didn't actually say he would be on with Angie, but all the singers in the top come back and perform on the finale. I think he will sing with Angie - just by guess!..nancdruuu2

4:13 - He also let out a little, reflexive cry. The only time he let down his guard down. It showed that he didn't think he had the win in the bag. A lot of people thought he was arrogant but he knew what a crapshoot Idol is. Poor Angie didn't understand that, which is why she fell apart last night.

Opps-That's my guess.L0L!..nancdruuu2

Yea I thought so too, he got pretty emotional, didn't want to cry on camera. At that point in time, I didn't know anything about that sort of prejudice and thought it was plain sailing for Adam right to the top. S8 was the last finale I watched because I didn't want to be reminded of the S8 finale result; so now I'll be watching the S12 finale.

I wonder if Angie was informed about the very real stats in regard to East Coast/West Coast contestants often collecting fewer votes than middle of the country? Not trying to stir the pot (altho that element DOES annoy me). I believe she is better suited for the title in several areas, but most in raw innate talent, but I feared the "demographics" issue would be her downfall. I haven't watched since Bowersox/Dwyze... but I would watch again if they adopted a system more like DWTS where votes are limited in some sort of way per phone line, email, text account, etc!

My glass-half-full comment: Now Angie has more time perhaps to practice and work on her duet with Adam!!!! :) Lemonade from lemons! :)

As we have seen with Adam, Jennifer Hudson and Daughtry, you do not have to win Idol to have a successful music career. I think there are more demands and restrictions on the winner during that first year after the tour, aren't there? Angie will do well esp. because she is a singer/songwriter. Loved watching the "look back" on Adam. I sat there smiling the entire time. Can't wait to see him performing next week. It should be exciting, but in my opinion nothing can match the Season 8 finale with Adam and Queen. Interesting news also about the entire panel being replaced for the next season. Now all the rumors will start about who will make up the new panel. I would love to see Adam on it along with two other individuals. Or maybe Idol has just run its course and it is time for it to end. We will just have to wait and see what will happen with a new panel and any changes in the format. It has had a long run and has produced so many successful recording artists that we don't necessarily see on those other singing/talent shows.

The Candice Glover and Kree Harrison finale will be the best finale since Lambert and Allen. 2 great voices going for it all:)) so glad that Miller girl was booted. She reminded me of Miley Cyrus in a pageant throughout the whole competition. wanna see Lambert slay her vocally on the Finale. She better bring her game HARD!

Did anyone watch Adam's recap on idol more than once? lol I know I did- loved the last look from the video FYI (so sexy)I do think demographic voting landed Kree instead of Angie. Her sad story also got her a lot of votes IMO. Candice blew me away with "Sonewhere". I thought it was going to be angie and Candice for sure. We all know winning that show doesn't always mean a successful career. I loved all 3 girls however.

I always get weak when I watch (over and over) Adam's first entrance into the room of judges - he just strides in and flashes his smile - I think that's when Paula lost her heart to him, even before he started to sing.

Maybe it run its course but it will be on next year they have already started are gonna start their on line auditions. Ryan S. was interviewing NM.i suspect to smooth over all the nasty stuff she's aid on twitter about MC. On E, with finale coming up probably wants her to look a bit better. She came across somewhat nicer than she been acting, however she said if she does not like someone they will know it. He asked her if she consider coming back next year she kind of just breath on thing like ah I just don't think so, he said but will still be friends. All damage control I suspect with the finale at bay. I highly doubt any will be back next year, ratings at and all time low. He also ask KU a while back he said he was gonna trout some but would like to come back. Wendy Williams hammered all of them in her show all judges even Keith saying he was cute but boring. I do like Keith, however he seem like a nice guy. Anyway came home yesterday after a miserable day if iv's and blockage tests for heart, I do have some blockage in legs don't know about heart yet. But, came home half way into idol fortunately taped it, saw my beautiful Adam he looked so handsome wow, not that he always does not. The segment was quite good, and just the mere presence of the man put a new complexion in the show and perked it up. I just had feeling that how it was going down showing success Asia and abroad and then be in finale I was thrilled, Adam keeping secrets to last minute lately, bad boy. So thrilled they came out and said he be in idol only one they announced, sure seem like they wanted the public Glambert's, to know. If course CJ we know she doing coke ad song. I pretty sure it's Angie he doing duet with but whoever does not matter it is Adam. I do like her and thought she definitely should have come in second at least. But she will be fine, with hard work like Adam has put in, if any one has followed Adam L for 4 years closely you are blinde not to see how hard he worked at his career with tons of traveling to to perpetuate his popularity abroad. So happy see him on idol, makes it worth watching other wise I wouldn't . Again sole mistakes, sorry! Sue

Sue, sorry for all your medical problems. Take care of yourself. All these contestants will now face the realities of actually producing and selling their music. As Adam found out, it's a tough road. Adam is the only Idol alum with a real international following. Even the best singers are not guaranteed success in the music marketplace. Adam is so supportive of Idol. It would be nice if they gave him his due and made him a judge. So many people need to get to know him as we do.

Trespassing Deluxe got a huge bump on itunes after Adams segment on idol. Up to #63 on top 100 pop albums and got a big jump on Amazon's movers and shakers too. I think a lot of people didn't even know about the Trespassing album. Great segment except I wish they mentioned his tour with Queen!

Anonymous said...

@8:46- thanks for that info- I was hoping it would boost his trespassing sales. If only the US would of played his singles- who knows how far this fantastic album would of went.

Radio play the issue... wish someone somewhere with some influence would put, say Seacrest, on the spot sometime and ask him what level of "Boss Power" prevented Adam's singles, especially BTIKM which was very top 40 friendly, from getting raio play... The Program Directors, the Music Directors, higher up?? I truly wish someone would ask a high profile DJ straight up in some sort of high profile media outlet!!!! Don't mean to sound bitter, okay I am going to my happy place now :). The package on Adam last night was very flattering, a total win. Yay for bump for TSP album! Grateful fan here! :)

Anonymous said...

Nobody "prevented" the singles. They just choose what they see as guaranteed money. Soon as they see something else can make them money then they add it to their play list.

Anonymous said...

@Anon May 10, 2013 at 1:47 PM

You are right about guaranteed money, absolutely. But I am not so sure the word "prevented" is out of line either!!!!! Conservative channel owning red state voting boss'. I am soooooo not a consipiracy theorist type, sooo not... but there is something to conservative media outlet owners blocking certain music... get educated, don't be so naive. You are right about the almighty dollar and guaranteed money, you are, but there is the other side at play as well, another guarantee.

I loved watching the video and can hardly wait for next week. Go Adam!

I love watching this AI Adam segment video; firstly it starts with my favourite song FYE and there's a plucky Adam moment that really stands out..."And I will show! you." Gesturing with his index finger with two upward pointings. Also I recognise the tall buildings outside the window and his unbuttoned Sing shirt showing some hmm...and effective make-up, everything tip-top.

I knew that Angie will not make it upon learning that Candice is from South Carolina and Kree from Texas.
It just proves again that Southern states' contenders have the upper hand.

By the way, the audience being filmed in the Adam AI video was at the actual Star Theatre, Singapore...Trespassing concert where I was. I knew they were filming something because a recording red light and large spotlights would zoom in and scan the audience. Definitely had not the faintest idea it was going to be part of Adam's AI segment. The second tier was where I would have been closer to the stage and perhaps would have felt his presence a lot more; rejected those seats. lol! Oh well, very happy I was at the Trespassing concert! anyway.

I don't know how many times it has to be explained to fans of 24/7 and Adam that the majority of radio stations that play music are liberal. They simply (as a unified group) don't want to play Adam's music because of the gay lyrics. They want to interview him because of the listenership it gains them, but the lyrics are too off putting to many people.

Conservative stations are usually talk radio and they don't play top 100 music at all. They talk politics.

When Adam realizes this and starts writing music without the gay undertones he will hit the charts and radio play bigger than anyone because of his voice. I consider myself an adventurer in my musical choices, but still find some of Adam's songs striking a nerve. And I've been a fan since he was interviewed prior to the auditions and praying he could sing because he was so beautiful and natural in his responses recorded on tv.

AFF and Long, long time 24/7 fan
