Just heard on the radio this morning that last week Idol lost in the ratings to Duck Dynasty.

Funny about Duck Dynasty... cuz that part of othe country is a big supporter and VOTING BLOCK of Idol I'd guess ;)

(yep, that was snark! Frustrating to me that a demographic/geography issue continues to play too weighty a role in advancing artists on American Idol. I really wish they would use a voting system like DWTS which has certain "controls" built in! The only reason they don't is so that they can say "50 million votes came in blah blah blah". Funny, but I haven't heard Ryan giving voting #'s out so much this season. Has he? you guys that wastch more, has he quoted #'s much lately??

Anyway, sorry to be a snarky little whiner there, but I find that Duck Dynasty ratings tidgit hilarious!! It has nothing to do with Body size or beauty or anything but vocal prowess (and musicianship) and I think Angie had more of it than the other talented young ladies... and I think it's a shame she couldn't have played this reality game with a voting system more like the one used on DWTS. Just my opinion. :)

DRG (I love how Adam gets that AWE and respect from AI contestants. He just has that IT star quality that not even all AI winners have, IMO.)

JAK, My now deceased mother-in-law, was, at age 90. crazy for Kevin Costner. She just glowed when she saw him. I like him, too, and we'd tease each other. She always said, "My body got old, but my mind sure didn't!" I feel the power of Adam's sexiness and sensuality as much as I ever felt it in my life about a cute guy. Age means nothing!

Age has nothing to do with it, I'd give anything to be 30 years younger. In fact in my mind I don't feel any different, but my body is very good at telling me otherwise, and yes I still find men of Adam's age stunning and attractive, life can be so cruel.:)
