That would be perfect casting. Adam has amazing vocals as we all know, apprciate and admire.

It sounds like a good role for him. I am going to be all into Glee this year. I will win all Glee trivia games this year and every year Adam is on it.

Adam as a coach will actually come quite naturally to him in terms of acting/singing. But the story-line must take a fresh approach other than the usual trying to out-do each other theme which may not be unique. This role does suit Adam because even as the AI mentor, he was interesting in his coaching like telling the contestants to sing a notch higher or growl a bit when he gave a short Elvis demonstration. Perhaps Adam could choreograph an Elvis number or a medley; Jailhouse Rock, Love Me Tender... :)

I haven't watched Glee before, is this a small part or a medium part. I don't expect a big part. I would like to see him often. Would he have to stand around a lot to listen to other singers?

It's absolutely okay...as it is, there're a few versions of my name already. lol! I wonder if Glee director actually saw Adam on AI and thought he'll portray well as a coach on Glee; which means Adam will actually be doing a fair amount of acting, emoting, talking, advising, demonstrating and perhaps even a bit of dancing. Whoa! Adam will enjoy this helluva lot. I wonder how much he earned out of this Glee stint, hmm...kaypoh king lol! I read a little about this Vocal Adrenaline group in Glee...it seems they are strong in singing but lacking in emotion as portrayed in the last couple of episodes; so Adam coach comes along to spruce things up. lol! The former coach got fired, last episode, because Vocal Adrenaline came in second in a national competition. Vocal Adrenaline, shape up or ship out...lol!

Vocal Adrenaline is the competing glee club. I wonder how much they will play into this season.

Oh dear, the coach of Vocal Adrenaline ? this means it will take months and months before Adam is on Glee... because as Anonymous said at 3:14 am... Vocal Adrenaline is the competing Glee Club .... which means.... it usually only shows up at the end of the season when it is competition... and the role is not too big.

Regional competition has just been closed at the end the previous season 4 (with performance of Jessica Sanchez also as part of Vocal Adrenaline) so I guess the national competition is at the end of season 5 .. somewhere in April or May 2014... that is a long time.

I was hoping that Adam would be a teacher in the New York section of Glee together with Lea and Chris Colfer...

In previous years, the coach of Vocal Adrenaline was either pretending to be in love with Rachel, or just freaked out with one of his members (the transgender guy) or just having a vocal argument with Mr Shue, the teacher of the glee Club that plays the main role in Glee...

So if indeed Adam is the coach of Vocal Adrenaline.. I truly hope they let him sing at least one song.. but I wont bet on it..

if Adam's roll is the coach of Vocal Adrenaline and this part will be aired in April or May, that would leave plenty of time for Adam to be a judge on AI as well. I feel certain that he will get to sing as well as act. I wish we would get the "facts" about the role..it will be really hard to wait until April or May...

I've seen Vocal Adrenaline in all parts of different seasons. Plus we don't know what the writers have planned for this season and if VA will play a bigger or smaller roll than previously. We just need to wait and see and not speculate too much.

Thank you for getting back to me; I'll check the Clevver TV thread and read your reply. Glad that you too see that it needs some new angles of approach. I've tried watching some episodes but never managed to watch them right through because of the fairly similar themes that couldn't hold my interest. I usually watch less than half of the show; and also the stage presentations had pretty much the same dance moves. Adam being so innovative, imaginative may give some new directions. But I'll definitely watch the episodes that feature him right through. lol! Yea I like your suggestion of letting him sing one complete song; what about the latest one Lay Me Down, that would be whoa! And helps promote the song to a huge viewership.

This wouldn't be a very big role for Adam and don't think it would involve much singing so I really think it is just a rumor. I read that it was just a fan who said this.

I really didn't know anything about how Vocal Adrenaline played in the past on Glee, but this season could be quite different. I know that Murphy thinks a lot of Adam and hopefully his role in the series will be big. I have a very good feeling about this. With a star like Adam, why wouldn't you have him sing and dance a lot on the show? This would definitely bring in new and not so new viewers. I think all of the Glee cast is in awe of him as they rightly should be! Bring on your sexy self Adam! Don't forget the glam boots!.......nancdruuu2

I am a semi-Gleek. Vocal Adrenaline is the "enemy". Gleeks root for New Directions. Hope this rumor is far off base because I can't imagine why writers would give the competing team more air time than Mr. Shue's group, which is made up of the main cast.

I was always hoping for one or a few members of the Glee cast to sing "Whataya want from me..."

I guess the main Glee cast is not that well trained in dancing.. EXCEPT for e.g. Jacob Artist who plays Jake Puckerman in Season 4 and Heather Morris who plays Brittany in all seasons but who will probably not appear in Season 5 as the actress is pregnant now. Harry Shum (the asian actor) who plays Mike Chang until season 4 is also a seasoned dancer.

Kevin Mc Hale is a good dancer but he plays wheelchair bound Artie so we cannot really see his great dance moves.
