Whoa! Excellent combination of Starchild against the FYE song; very imaginative fan! Hey why did you stop; I was thoroughly enjoying it lol! FYE, my all-time favourite. The original video clip could have used FYE instead of MTN...more appropriate because Starchild was trying to do exactly what the FYE lyric suggest. This fan has a deeper grasp of the Glee clip. lol!
By the way, for the earlier-on complaints about the top-hat, cloak dress-up...like I predicted there is a sequential connection. And so I explained that I noticed Starchild chucked the top-hat aggressively and subsequently twirled the chandelier and swang on a rope in his modern-day sleek back t-shirt, pants. So now it's quite clear the connection. It is done due to Kurt scoffing at Starchild with his Project Runway 6 remark. lol! Woe to those who say Adam is not creative and outdated and that they have seen this outfit before; that precisely is the motive for that sequence. One even sneered at my attempt to see the connection between the chucking of the top-hat and the subsequent chandelier twirl/swing because she thinks Adam has run out of fashion ideas. lol!

Kurt's blue rolling eyes fit this clip sooo well and Adam's Oh... so well synchronised in the video. Hey Fan, can you make it longer, now I've to repeat it many times. lol!

I think if FYE was actually used, it could make a comeback on the charts; I've played that short Fan clip 12 times already, actually more than MTN and it's far superior a song than MTN. Not forgetting Dr Luke got a Grammy nomination for producing FYE song. Anyway, I hope Glee eventually uses an Adam song, some are suitable due to their dramatic/theatric effects eg. Runnin, Fever/for dance, FYE, LMD/does not belong to Adam, sung by him.

Cute and clever!

Now that I compare MTN with FYE used in the Starchild fan video, I think the Glee director together with Adam made the right choice in using MTN for the Starchild scene. FYE though my favourite of the two, may be a bit 'aggressive' for the scenario. Also in Marry The Night, I heard Adam sing, NY and the backdrop of this episode is based in NY. We can't beat the experts, can we... :)
