OT
JAK and glitzy lady happy birthday.... I know we r only cyber friends but this is how I feel about u and all who love our sweet Adam.... I wrote this a while back and may have posted before if so ... sorry but I would like to share it with u again on your birthday
Friendship is a precious thing, a twinkle in the eye
Dew drops in the morning mist, a rainbow in the sky,
It’s caring without reason, and action without cause
It’s give and take without regret, and never giving pause.
Born of life and promises, and thoughts of growing old
Its honesty and patience, and secrets whispered low.
Yes, friendship is a mighty thing; it speaks of who you are
It measures loyalty I time and cost upon the heart.
So if you find a friendship that’s meaningful and true
You must be a lucky one that’s found a friend like you.....rose petal

The Jessie J and Robin Thicke song is very disco. I really like Jessie's voice but sounds too similar to previous disco songs. The other song, well I can't even understand the words. Makes me so thankful of how well Adam enunciates his words when he sings!

Whichever songs the radio stations and and VHI & MTV plays the heck out of will be the hits.

All of Adams tracks sound much better in my opinion! Hope he gets radio play and TV music play this time around as much as these other artist with half the talent do.

I also hope that other artist tweet out Adam's new tracks to their fans; as Adam does theirs, to his fans!

Jessie J & Robin Thicke track is good. I'm sure radios will make it a hit. Prefer Shady to this more and it should've been a single. Love the second one a lot and it definitely should be a mega hit. Tried to buy it on iTunes but couldn't find it. Thanks Adam for sharing.

@ rose petal...Oh Oh Oh........JAK here : )))

You are rapidly becoming my favorite poet. You write from your heart, nothing sounds contrived or 'managed' to fit. It's as if you open your soul and just let go!

This is probably the best way to describe friendship that I've ever heard. And I like the line "caring without reason"
In my life I have had ... still have ... 3 friends that are my soulmates....not because we are alike, in fact we are very different, but within an hour of meeting we recognized a magnetism that drew us to each other and has never lessened. I need them like air to breathe. But the funny thing is they are not friends of each other, they don't even know each other.

I can't wait to send each your poem, they will love it!
Thank you so much...it's in my 'rosé petal file'....<3

The Jessie J and Robin T. track is very similar to the Night Fever track that Travolta danced to in Sat. Night Fever.
It's the disco beat that the Bee Gees used throughout the film.
I've been a fan of their music for a very long time, they wrote some great songs for Streisand ......JAK
I'd be happy to have disco back!
The music.....not the wardrobe!

Kids...Style of Eye....review...................if I'm ever thrown in a dungeon
and accused of any crime ......
Forget the rack, the iron maiden or thumbscrews.....just pipe in a loud boom box playing this music for several hours and I will gladly sign any confession! O_O

About the other song... You wrote my exact thoughts, thank you. As a non-native English speaker/listener I just got irritated... Is this meant for international distribution, too?!?

I don't like the Robin Thicke song, I think he has a lousy voice. And the second song, what??? it's ridiculous and a bunch of noise! I loved hearing Adam singing with Queen in the iHeart video. What a voice!! That man can saaang!!! :)

@JAK
I'm a huge fan of the Bee Gees. So sad that Barry Gibb is the only Bee Gee remaining but all their music lives on. I went to Barry Gibbs' concert earlier this year and he was as fabulous as always.

Open your mind friend. If the beat/sound/feel is too loud for you personally, it's all good fellow Adam fan, but it is indeed a thought-provoking lyric and you really just dismissed it so arbitrarily, well maybe not, but "ridiculous" is not at all a fitting description of that track, not your cup of tea maybe... but it's got a rather deep message by all modern standards when one gives it further thought, don't you think?
