Call me selfish; I would love, love to hear Adam sing this as a solo on main vocalist parts. And the women sing the background vocals. That would be so beautiful. I don't know if that is how they are planning it. I know; must just be happy he is included!

One thing I love about the 80s is most of the artists could actually sing, no electronics or auto tune. Great song.

This is going to be out of this world. I'm beyond excited. Bring it on!
Adam's birth year, 1982

I like this song!! I could visualize Adam singing at different points. I am not familiar with the girl's voices just yet to stick them in my big production number in the sky. lol

Adam will kill with this song! I remember it well. It could really show off his voice well if it's arranged properly. I am also selfish about wanting to hear only Adam's voice in the lead vocal, but the girls have good voices, too, so I think it will be really good. The more Adam, the better, no matter how we get him.

Not that anybody has been unkind or anything, but Lea Michelle's voice is widely accepted and recognized as absolutely incredible, fantastic, sublime. Check out some of her work in Spring Awakening on Broadway. She is a special and awesomely talented young lady, make no mistake about the vocal prowess she possesses. (sort of like somebody else we know ;))

This is a great song and something to look forward to. Can't wait, but guess I must.

Laura B died way too young (at 47). 'Gloria' and 'Self Control' are really good songs still today...She had a strong voice!

When she sings "alias" it sounds like Elliot. ;)

Oh my goodness, Gloria is one of my all time fave songs. It gives me goosebumps on goosebumps every time I hear it and it should suit Adam's high voice brilliantly!! I have a big soft spot for Flashdance the movie in which Gloria is included. :-)

I wish they would sing "Self Control" That was a sexy song and Laura had a great voice. No auto tune for her and no stripping off her clothes like Miley C. "Gloria" is a good song too and they will do it justice.

LOVE everything Laura Branigan ever did, and "Gloria" is obviously one of the peaks of her repertoire. So great to finally hear her get some love from "Glee," and they did her song justice! Sounded great! I'm with others in this thread who'd love to hear Lambert do a solo version!

Other Laura Branigan singles to check out: "Self Control," "Solitaire," "How Am I Supposed To Live Without You," "I Found Someone" (yes, she sang those two first!), "Power Of Love" (she tore that song up! years before Celine's somewhat slicker version), "Shattered Glass," "Ti Amo," "The Lucky One," I could go on and on.

She was like her own personal "Glee" episode, covering a lot of forgotten hits, cult hits, and near-misses. Check out her alternate take on "Der Kommissar," "Deep In The Dark," or her totally late-'80s version of "Turn The Beat Around," plus a gorgeous ballad version of "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow," not to mention ABBA's "The Winner Takes It All," Alphaville's "Forever Young," Hazell Dean's "Wherever I Go," the list goes on.

I'd love to hear Lambert do one of her lesser-known songs, "I'm Not The Only One." He would kill on that song!
