As we have seen with Idol, a number of those who have won, have not had particularly successful recording/music careers. I think the show is a platform that will open the door for anyone who has talent, a special stage presence and an outgoing personality. Maybe Adam has not been as successful as the others mentioned, but he seems to have done quite well for himself and 2014 seems like it will be the best year for him yet.

What do they have in common? They went on to be winners...

...and now Beyoncé has 13M followers, Justin Timberlake 29M and One Direction 16M on Twitter. Not fair.

Be that as it may; I believe that Adam is most intimately loved by his small band of bandits; than all the twitter followers than money can buy. All of the other artists, except One Direction has had a career since they were children and teens so the comparasion is unfair as far as exposure.

One Direction is Simon Cowell's group and a band boy group. Millions spent on them and are on Xfactor about every onther week; cannot be compared to a solo artist.

Everyone of those artist are played over and over again on radio & television. Also, booked on almost every award show.
E-News features them every chance they get; while Adam hardly gets a mention; even when he should.

The main thing they really have in common is that they are human
beings and they are singers.

They left out a lot of former contestants, Christina A., couple of others I think.

Adam is, and will become more sucessful in his own right; no need to compare.

JT and ONE D can't sing. Adam Lambert and Beyonce CAN. I still Think Adam can out sing all of them but some people are tone deaf.

I just looking forward to next year think it will be a good one. I not worried about all these other artist just Adam , the very best there is. Winning means little on Idol especially lately except a contract. Adam step by step now is building a solid career. Can't wait for Queen and much more next year. New music.
Adam is so smart to go all the way to china for this award show. Will be seen by millions and keep his popularity up in Asia and make it grow.

If we going by if's; if I were a gay male and 10 years younger; I would be in love with Adam Lambert; oh wait, I am in love with him!

Putting down other singers does not in any way raise Adam. It just makes you appear petty.

Is it impossible to imagine that some people prefer another voice? Because we like to hear him doesn't mean everyone will.
