@Admin This is 2 days old video. Any latest news about Adam?

Anonymous said...

Thanks for posting I didn't get to see it yet.

Adam looks elegant in this fashionable hat. Well, at least he's still within the sweep of the Grammy radar; good sign, perhaps next year he'll be on stage...right now, not so magnetising, because the strongest magnet has yet to be used.

Right now there is no new news about Adam.... I'm sure we'll see it here when there's something to post :))

Anonymous said...

I'd rather there's no news than bad news like Bieber.

Anonymous said...

I'm a patient soul. Better no news than something that's not relevant. :)

Anonymous said...

Even if there is "no news" at the moment I keep checking this site regularly just in case!

Adam does look so elegant in this video. That hat adds class. He's a standout alright.

Who is the lady kissing Adam and his best buddy, Joey? Shoshanna? I know she tweeted that she'll be here in LA.

CAA is Adams booking agency

Anonymous said...

We are king are the backup singers used on Lay Me Down

Anonymous said...

I guest that is what it is. That booking agency is one if the biggest in LA. They have Katy Perry Britney Spears. And Adam and many more. Sure they are throwing a Grammy party for their clients. I thought Adam was suppose to perform at an event tonight. Guess I was wrong he was rehearsing to perform at an event I thought sat night that would be last night rather.any pictures of h at a Grammy event if it was a day or two or whatever I am happy for and any Grammy even like this is certainly relevant many celebs were there. I had not seen them before and neither had some others.
What u was saying is I thought he was performing at an equality award function in LA sat night? If so should get something about it.

@10:29
What a way to start a new thread!
If you've seen this before, why can't you just be quiet and think that there are plenty of others who haven't?

Not everybody is a Glamhopper constantly going through every Adam site or twitter post!

Suggestion:
Instead of complaining, why not bring some newer news yourself, as you're so uptodate. Much appreciated.

Anonymous said...

2:13 am, the Family Equality Award Dinner is Feb 8th. Adam and others are performing.

Anonymous said...

That was what I was saying not u. 2.13 sorry. I thought he rehearsed for that event the other day thought it was sat, don't know for sure some kind of equality award show. Probably mostly celebs there are whatever event he rehearsed for that JW song for. Whatever it is. Most likely a celebrity event so maybe no vids from it.

Anonymous said...

@2:09 Thanks for the reminder...I remember the name now from hearing about them in an interview (maybe with Nile Rodgers?).

Thanks @Glitzy for the pic.

OT, but the Featured Pic of Adam from Glam Nation tour is drop-dead sexy. The sweaty arms, the lips....THUD.

I just wanted to let the admin. here know that I appreciate all the work you do to bring any Adam news to his fans. I feel that some comments made in the last few threads have been disrespectful to you. You do not deserve some of the bashing posts I've read. I feel that you have created a great site that allows for freedom of expression. It is not you fault that some people cannot control the impulse to respond to negative posts. I just wanted you to know that I'm grateful for your site and the work you put into it.

Great Post.

I hadn't seen the vid yet either, thanks Admin. "Real Life" (as many in this fandom funnily refer to as their day to day living and obligations) has been very busy and I am just seeing a lot of this news now. I probably won't get through many previous threads even now, so thanks Admin for posting this vid! Really helpful. I am out living my life and fulfilling my obligations like I truly believe AML would want me to be doing... but I do love to grab some time to check in on him when I can, and 24/7 really helps, thanks to all your people who post great stuff as well, it's greatly appreciated by this Adam fan! It's very rare that I venture in to the comments sections, so I probably miss a lot of great links that are posted by you guys within the comments sections of each thread (sad huh, I shouldn't let pot-stirrers ruin the blog for me, but just can't get past it most times), but thanks nonetheless, I'm very grateful for everyone's efforts.

Sad to rhink in these 5 years that he has had virtually no recognition during any of these awards shows. Yet some 16 yr old from Austalia just breezes right in. Guess that proves what one popular song can do for one's career.

Thank You! to all bringing in new tweets and pics of Adam. <3

Anonymous said...

5:51, You said exactly what bothers me the most, too. It definitely shows how important it is to have one hit song. Just ONE can skyrocket someone to the top with no past credentials. We have to support Adam to the fullest ad promote his music, just as his new label, whoever it is, must do. He has more than paid his dues.

Wondering how fandom would react if Adam was dating Justin Tranter. Theoretically speaking of course.

Anonymous said...

That lady is so lucky kissing Adam on the cheek. He is so adorable and sexy. What's not to love about him.

Anonymous said...

@8:15am none of our business. As long as Adam is happy.

Anonymous said...

Are you speaking on behalf of fandom?

Anonymous said...

@8:15 AM Is this your life? Living theoretically in other peoples life? That's really pitiful.

IMO, Talent rewards you with longevity and variety. You don't have to be at the top and winning all the awards to be doing what you love and making a great living. By Adam's tweets, I'd say he is pretty darn happy and excited about what he is doing. Let's celebrate!

Anonymous said...

I agree Adam does seem to be very happy and excited about something...cannot wait to see what happens in 2014....love being a fan of this beautiful talented man

Anonymous said...

So people are begrudging a 16 year old girl success with a hit song just because Adam doesn't have as big of a hit yet. That is so petty. Why don't you try looking at the glass half full like Adam said. 5 years after Idol he has a great career, has an acting part in Glee and has respect and praise from everybody in the industry that meets him.

Anonymous said...

Adam has plenty Grammy worthy songs; they just have not gotten the exposure that is needed. But, we all know that. They sure make me happy though.[

Anonymous said...

I'm hoping Adam hasn't made some bad choices that can hurt him in the long term. The ama performance and leaving r c a. With some of the no talent out there getting recognized it makes me angry. Hopefully he will find his way this year before its to late. What a shame this handsome man with so much talent is still on the outside looking in. I can't help to think he has some flaws we all don't recognize. I hate being a Debbie downer but I need to express my worries about him. I am a big fan and will always route for his success.

Anonymous said...

@ 9:06 AM You're lying, you love being a Debbie downer. Shut up.

Anonymous said...

@9:01 true but there's nothing unique about his songs they all sound like every other crap on the radio.

Unique artists with unique songs
Adele
James Blake
Jessie j
Bruno mars
Beyonce
John legend etc...

Anonymous said...

@2:42 Very well said, and I wholeheartedly agree. Thanks Admin!! I hadn't seen this vid either so I appreciate it.

Anonymous said...

I agree with Carolynj who talked about longevity in the business. I think with Adam's amazing voice and mesmerizing stage presence, he will have success and longevity when so many of the performers we see today will be forgotten and left behind because they really are not very talented singers. And with lip synching and auto-tuning so prevalent now, when you hear a live performance on some of the entertainment/awards shows, that person sounds absolutely terrible. What frustrates me is that Adam who probably has one of the best voices in music today, can't seem to get his music played on the radio and is still looking for another hit single since WWFM. He has praises heaped upon him from Queen and so many of the critics who reviewed his last album Trespassing. Everyone who has worked with him always comments about what a nice person he is. I don't know if there are flaws in Adam that we don't see as @9:06 suggested, but for some reasons the stars are not aligned for him yet. Hopefully this year will bring him the recognition and success that he so deserves in the crazy world of music and that he finds love and happiness in his personal life.

Anonymous said...

9:06, you are worrying excessively about things that I doubt Adam worries about. Its excessive worrying about somebody else's career and about something out of your control. In all seriousness, if this is a common pattern for you, talk to your doctor.

Anonymous said...

I guess it's so true what one hit song can do for the career of an unknown performer. It seems today's tweens and teens support most new boy bands and any young singer with a new song. Many of them are talented and personable and have to do all they can at their highest point of popularity. Then there is the followup song/s that will determine continued success. I think that Adam may not have achieved the success that so many of his fans had wanted for him, but I feel that he will have longevity in the entertainment world in some capacity whether it is in music, tv, movies, design, fashion, etc. Obviously time will tell, but that is my wish for him.

Anonymous said...

He might going to Grammys tonight who knows

Anonymous said...

There are tons of artists that don't have any hit songs on radios and career wise they are doing great. I know bunch of them. As a matter a fact mu cousin is a great singer/performer and she travels all over the world. She isn't Lady Gaga or Katy Perry but she lives in a nice gated house and buys her designer cloths and jewelry. As long as artists have passion for their art and I see this in Adam they'll be successful.

Anonymous said...

9:38, Very well said. My earlier post came off as snarky, but I didn't mean it to be. Just my frustrations showing. Adam's AI fame came in his late twenties, already pretty old to try to capture the teen fanbase. I know he has teen fans, but I think he knows he has to concentrate on the long term. That means recording music that will appeal to more of a mid-range audience. This doesn't mean he has to be stodgy and not current or edgy. He just has to look at who will like his music for years to come. There are plenty of top singers in their thirties, forties and up who perform all the time to large, loyal audiences. They're not always in the biggest arenas, but they stay successful year after year. This is what I want for Adam. I know how different he is. He is hard for some to accept. But there are plenty of people out there who do respect an outstanding vocal talent. I love him as much as I ever did and hope he can break through with a hit song or two, expand the fanbase and keep riding a decent-sized wave. And he still has non-singing potential, too. Sorry about my inadvertent negativity.

Wow another flurry of a troll frenzy, Adam must be doing something right.

Whatever level of success Adam wants for himself, that is what I want. You don't have to be the Beatles or Madonna to be successful and happy.

9:13 so true lol

He should have focused on theater where his voice is noticed. He is a vocalist, not an artist.

Just to quote ADAM from E! True Hollywood Story ... "If I can keep doing what I am doing right now for the rest of my life I'll be a very HAPPY man" (in reference to being an entertainer) ... so I think ADAM is extremely satisfied with his life (living the American dream) and so should we be that he is!!

There are lots of "overnight sensations" too, like Goyte. Singers who have been in the business for over 10 years but with one song suddenly everybody has heard of them and thinks they are new when they have been performing for years.

Jadam NZ said...

Just a small point but Lorde is from New Zealand, not Australia. Big difference. The Grammys here have caused a small national uproar as TVNZ was not going to play them till 9,15pm tonight but because of public pressure are showing them live at 2pm.Living in a little country is great sometimes, usually we don't even get the actual award show.

OT - I just saw this on Twitter and it bothered me. Allison Iraheta was supposedly singing back-up for Lionel Ritchie at the Clive Davis party last night. Last I heard she had her own band. Wonder what happened. I really like Allison and am curious. Anyone know anything about this?

glitzylady said...

Allison still has her own band "Halo Circus" and is doing very well, from what I hear. Sounds like a very cool gig for her to be singing back-up for Lionel Richie at the huge Pre-Grammy Gala too. She's so talented and such a sweetheart. As far as I can see, it's all good!

Anonymous said...

@GlitzyLady Thanks for the reply. So glad Allison is doing well. After all, she is our "little sister" so I try to keep track of her.

Anonymous said...

I read Allison was going to be singing back up on America Idol this year too.

http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/idol-worship/american-idol-season-13-preview-670112
The judges and producers don’t necessarily disagree, and in an effort to appeal to the younger sect, have made one major change in updating the music. With musical director Rickey Minor returning to the fold after a two-year stint on The Tonight Show (and bringing along season eight finalist Allison Iraheta as a backup singer), season 13's Hollywood Week saw group numbers of songs like Lorde's "Royals" and Alex Clare's "Too Close," an EDM hit. "It was a concerted effort to get fresh music into the show," says Ignjatovic. "We want to reflect what’s popular today."

There's nothing wrong or substandard what Adam has achieved in just 5 years as a global superstar. His songs are top class, his voice and singing in a league of his own. I feel the crux of the matter, that is he's not in any of the Grammy shows and on constant radio play, is not because he's not good enough. The huge drawback is he is not pegged onto a niche of high connections. And Adam being gay, is a minority and all these other business connections are mainstream who might not want to bank on a minority market when they can earn many fold more, mainstream. This is natural and not necessary an animosity towards Adam, though there is obvious visibility of that. However, with Adam's disclosed, owning of a new business, it might set him in the right direction to join this lucrative big business connections who are behind all the fierce promotions and nominations for prestigious awards and voluminous album sales. Adam is well aware of this and that's why he attends various gatherings in the hope of making inroads into this wealthy business links and connections. Strange, that many still think Adam's songs are not hits; on the surface that may appear so. Songs like OOL, FYE, Fever, Runnin, Underneath, Kickin In, BTIKM, NCOE, Sleepwalker, LMD etc are all hit songs. If a big business person hypothetically wants to sell these songs as hits, they will certainly become hits, via their wealth and business monopoly. But I feel Adam is going to nip this problem; his self-owned or partnered company he has sounded out might give his somewhat dormant music a 360-degree turn, for greater visibility and success. Adam being the optimistic fighter with such a unique voice and years-honed singing techniques, will know how to grapple the bull by the horns and he'll soar. China might help give that special lift out the doldrums as well. So it's too early to paint such a dismal scenario for Adam. His voice/singing/talent is already a top winner in itself!

What's the new business that Adam supposedly owns? Did I miss something in not reading all the comments from every single posting? I guess Adam will be at some post Grammy party. He has lots of friends in the business and it is a great way to network, to make connection and just to be seen. Hopefully next year Adam will be on the Grammy stage accepting an award for his new album. By the way I watched the opening number of the show withBeyonce and JayZ. I couldn't understand a word either one sang/rapped and her gyrations in that skimpy outfit just werent what I wanted to see for the first performance in this show. Although I am not a fan of Hunter Hayes, I liked his song much better because of the words and what it had to say. At least there was some meaning to it instead of "Drunk Love".
