4:12pm yes, it is very satisfying! Remembering the days of the Glam Nation Tour. I was up so close to the stage at a very small venue and Adam seemed like a 10 foot glorious giant of wonderfulness.

I wanted to throw my two cents in about NOT feeding the trolls. I understand it takes a lot of discipline, for me too :), but it really is better not to. (and beyond that, from a more kind hearted perspective, I really think some of these people are not altogether well).

On a tangent, I NEVER mind when a poster jumps in and comments about the fact that we Adam fans are inflating Adam's little successes in to way too much of a monumentous thing, I think we probably do that sometimes :), but this one (or few) D-bags who tries to downplay Adam's legit positive steps in his career is just totally exhibiting some sort of ax to grind against Adam... and we will never know further or deeper about that... and really, who cares!! Ive been hanging around hoping JAK would come back...I know this sounds crazy...but I am a little crazy....I love her in my own special way....she seems to be the kinda of mom I wished I had.., and the kind of mom I hope I'm am..,,she's the kinda grandma my children would have looked forward to seeing....and someone who would portect her family at any cost .... I'm still hoping she will come back or let me know if she's on a different site....our resident what ever u want to call them ...has succeed... at least for me .... In punching a big old hole in the fun , that once radiated from 24/7....I'll keep watching and hoping for JAK return ....in the mean time guess I'll take a look in heart and see if the and see if I can find a needle and thread.... I had dinner with some Glamberts last night and we drank to Adam's 32nd birthday, with all best wishes for 2014 - Glee, Queen and new music, which he has been hinting at for a while.

JMO but the recent upswing in negativity is most likely due to a fan of some other Idol whose anger has been aroused by Adam's ranking on the Forbes earnings list. It will die down eventually.

Oh gosh folks, I hate to rehash something that was apparently not a happy event, but I missed the whole "cropped crotch" scenario... I am not a pot-stirrer, I am a really long time fan who doesn't often post in the comments section any longer, and certainly not with a tag, because it is too taxing to weed through that trouble maker person(s) ... I always still hit this site and read the headlines, I just don't open the comments sections much... anyway, could someone tell me, briefly, what was the big deal about the crotch shot. I have to say, I am NO pearl clutcher, but I mean, I have a good sense of decency and decorum, and I sorta of think, having followed Adam for a very long time now, that there's not too much he would mind and not get a giggle out of in the world of "cropped crotch" shots. I am not being snarky, I am being totally serious. I think he is cheeky with his acknowledgement of his physical attractiveness to his fans, and I think he has fun with it. I don't want to be mean to JAK or any other poster here, but I really feel Adam wouldn't want a fan leaving a fansite just for what they perceive as vulgarity reasons. I understand JAK has to do what feels best to her, but was this cropped pic really that vulgar? And even the reaction to it, what is so vulgar and terrible? Adam is very openly expressive, purposefully expressive with his sexuality and sensuality, afterall, he's the one who PUTS ON the tight pants... was this cropped shot scenario a big deal and that vulgar? My opinion to 11:26 is you saying Adam put on the tight pants so what is the big deal about making a cropped dick pic out of it is like saying a woman wore a short skirt so what is the big deal of someone taking an up skirt photo of her or sexually harassing her. Wearing those clothes does not permit the other behavior.

Adam Lambert chose to put a mic in his mouth in a certain manner at a certain show and then said he was inspired. it was a silly and spicy and naughty little brief moment at a concert with a decidedly mature feel that night ... the YT vid exists still; There was the chance that many a still photograph would be created and widely circulated. Many a fan could have been, perhaps were, offended by the frozen image of this event, but I do not believe Adam would have felt objectified in the event of that image being circulated on Twitter. If asked directly, Adam very well may have admitted, when pressed, that the mic/mouth movement was vulgar, but I do not believe he would say he felt objectified. Yes, he made that mic/mouth movement willingly, & one could argue that Adam did not wear the blue pants to willingly be photographed in the manner of the cropped shot, but I do believe he understood, especially at the time of those concerts when he wore the blue pants, knowing his fandom by then, that the possibility of being portrayed photographically in that manner was possible. There was an element of choice and consequences there. His wearing the tight blue pants did not give permission for anyone to touch him, sexually or physically harass him, or put out a false image of his likeness/person in a libelous manner ... but he was not a random young lady wearing a tight skirt (which of course would not warrant illegal activity against her likeness or person), but he is an entertainer who will be widely photographed and videotaped while on stage and he is very smart and therefore well aware of his concert images being manipulated, inevitably not always favorably for him, and so I also believe, tho I have no dog in this fight , that he might not be appalled at someone manipulating an image of his body in this way, & he might not want a good fan leaving a fan site for only that reason, as perhaps he himself would not feel badly, overly upset or disgusted or blindsided by such a photographic image being circulated. It was never indicated that he was "asking for it", for anything , as a result of a long ago clothing choice, what was inquired about was whether or not we fans who post here really felt that HE HIMSELF would be so offended by such an image' circulaton that HE would want a good fan to depart a fan site because of that questionable image being posted here!!!

No one is talking about whether or not Adam would find the cropped and zoomed photo vulgar. He probably wouldn't. Jak found it vulgar and disrespectful to Adam. A lotof us felt the same way, me for one.She gave her opinion and piled on top all the other crap we've been stepping over lately, choose to scoot. To be candid, if JAK found that image too unsavory to bear, she probably should limit her access to compartments of the fandom ... because a certain level of sexual playfulness, even down right raunchiness, within the fandom was grown from seed by Mr. Lambert himself from its infancy! I for one enjoy it, not more than Adam's vocal abilities, but Adam does NOT require me to choose one or the other, or one over the other, so I allow myself to thoroughly enjoy the sexual sassy/saucy aspect he brings with his performance quality. I do not know the man, but I have been a keen observer from the start, and he has knowingly and probably purposefully grown his sexual/sensual and outright suggestive allure right along with everything else. Anybody who can not see that, should probably tread cautiously into fandom waters, because it is rather likely that suggestive images and whatnot will be bandied about quite freely (& I would absolutely venture to guess that Adam would be utterly fine with it). JAK has chosen to give herself & the matter a rest, & I respectfully say that it was probably a good idea, because a certain level of lusty adoration will most likely always be a part of AML's fandom, because Adam has participated in evolving it as such ... and I say good for him.

As for saying "give it a rest..." We'll, if someone is going to misinterpret or oversimplify a post, and draw unflattering comparisons and conclusions, then I suppose they should be prepared for further discussion. Of course, there is always that matter of free will that allows anyone to move along.

I saw the beginning of the comments on that "deleted thread with the pic", then had to leave (RL duties) and after many hours came back, and the whole thread was gone, so I was not there to witness what was posted that was so horrible that the whole thread had to be deleted... I too have followed Adam from the beginning and been on this site almost from the start and I'm still gobsmacked why suddenly this one pic suddenly was soooo "objectifying and disrespectful" (not my words). Tells more about the vibe on this site nowadays than anything else (imo). I'm sure someone tells me off, too - even though this thread is dead already or 'bullied to give it a rest'... This misinformation goes on and on. JAK did not find Adams crotch vulgar. She found using a photo of it for a joke vulgar. Quite a different thing.

It is one thing for people like the commenter at 9:30 to enjoy what ever pics they like among similarly minded people by twitter or email. They can crop all the photos they want for personal use and sharing with friends. But it is another thing to put those images on a very public site with a wide variety of visitors with a wide variety of opinions on what is offensive, objectifying and disrespectful.

Nobody is saying you can't look at pics like that, just don't make everybody here look at them too.

A public fan site with a variety of visitors should probably err on the side of not posting potentially offensive pics.

Also for the record, at first I too did not particularly love the image/photo in question, it didn't bother me especially, but I wasn't framing it and putting it on my desk or anything either (a little levity here :))... but then when I realized how it was married to that "aint nobody got time for that..." internet and pop culture phenomena... I thought it was kind of funny to be honest. It's not that I am trolling the internet looking for such images of Adam's body... but when I really thought about the silliness of the "Well maybe I got a little time..." and the play on words of the whole thing, and the nod to that Sweet Brown internet sensation video, I did see the humor in it. If we are talking about a different image/photo, and if we have been talking about something different all along, I guess my own posts are invalid; I actually missed the whole thing here on 24/7 originally. One "idea" that does still ring true for me 'though, regardless of misinterpretations or misinformation etc, is the idea that has been brought up that Adam has fully participated in the developing of the sexy, sensual, sometimes lustful aspects in his fandom... There have been zoomed and cropped pics and vids of various body parts of Adam here during these years, including the GB, already from AmIdol Tour. And remember ROF Idol performance, those pants and the ZIP!!! etc etc. Why the totally over the top meltdown NOW, after 5+ years with Adam & his "boombox", just don't get it.
AND if in the future there are pics that 'hurt anyones's eyes or delicate souls', nobody is making you to LOOK & STARE, a quick glance will suffice to make a decision whether the pic is something for you or not.
