Brian May, is so taken with Adam, and you can see the joy in Brian's face when he listens to Adam singing. I t looks like he feels the same honor it is to work with Adam, as Adam does to work with Queen. What a concert it will be. Love them all.

So true. Love Brian's comment about Adam. Such love and admiration for Adam from Brian and Roger. Their shows this summer are going to be spectacular.

Waiting for the concert makes my summer. Actually, can scarcely wait. Best wishes to Brian and Roger and crew and the astounding Adam Lambert.

I am glad they are so fond of each other. They have work and pleasure which makes for the ideal concert. Adam probably makes them feel young again. He respects them so much. He said he just soaks up as much knowledge from them as possible. How lucky are all three of them. This was just meant to be; and all involved know it!!

I think this quote is one of the best ever said. I've watched Freddie and Adam perform the same song, back to back, and I have to say I think Adam's voice is better than Freddie's...and that's saying a lot! Adam's showmanship is better than Freddie's...and THAT'S saying a lot.

Being the true artist that Freddie was, I think he WOULD be in awe of Adam ...
and proud. Adam does Queen justice.

Sorry xo laura, I have to disagree. Freddie's voice was fantastic, just not as polished as Adams and No One has ever been the completely own the stage outrageous as Freddie. Jaws dropped at his showmanship. He was worshipped, that's why some of his fans cling so fiercely
to his memory. It's wrenching to give those songs up, even to someone as talented as Adam. They feel they are being disloyal.

Hopefully that attitude will wear away. But I think it would happen sooner if Queen and Adam performed some new music they created together. I have my fingers crossed hoping they do so.

I disagree with xo laura too. There's not a performer in the world then and/or now who can perform like Freddie Mercury but everyone is entitled to their opinion .... and I'm NOT a troll. Both Adam and Freddie give their own fabulous and very distinctive interpretations of Queen's songs.

I guess watching the two of them perform the same songs, I think Adam's got the one up. Freddie was everything ... and a musical genus. But Adam, backed by Queen, has taken his songs to another level. Mesmerizing.

Your darn right he would have been! One genius is incredible but to find two leaves us all gobsmacked!

Oh, and I do hope lots of Queen fans will get a chance to see Adam perform with them. I think they'll be converted and not feel like they're being disloyal...hopefully... Freddie would want the music to go on, too.
