Yes, it's way too hot in LA! Adam is much hotter!!!

It's his own fault it's hot where he is.

We has some snow crystals come down today and tonight low is 32 degrees. I'm from North Dakota, the Midwest. We have has such a cool spring.

I don't know about Adam, but a lot of people in LA do not have air conditioners. This is rare for it to be so hot.

I just saw all the wildfires in the San Diego area too. It's always something with the weather: tornadoes, hurricanes, blizzards, very high temps., flooding, etc. But you are right; it is always HOT wherever Adam is.

why is Adam sending brutal conditions? HOT comes with a price tag.

3:45 because of low pressure shift from north arctic to middle and east of US we are having this dense high pressure from south over the west of US. Intense dry heat for the past couple of months here in the west and crazy cold weather in the east of us. I can't wait until it's over.

Where Adam lives is part of IE and it's much hotter than 99. I live by the beach and right now is 95. Average temp. by the beach this time of the year is low 70s.

I was in LA/WeHo late last June, and it was hot, in the 90's and everyone I spoke with said that was unusual for LA... Highs in the low 80's more typical.. And it was very humid too... Really sticky..., which obviously makes it feel even hotter. But I still loved being there :))

Oh, and its 85 degrees F outside at my house just north of Seattle.. late afternoon.. Pretty warm for my part of the country this time of year right now too.. The whole west coast is having a heat wave!

Adam has a pool, so stop complaining Adam, and be thankful.

@Glitzylady we have easterly winds called Santa Ana winds. Right now is very dry, hot winds, high temp. above 90s. This will last until weekend. Hopefully no major fires or earthquake. We call this kind of weather earthquake weather.

Also Adam missed our other unusual heat wave. He was in Sweden at that time.

5:01 Adam has the right to say it's hot cause we never had this kind of heat for this long. Last time SoCal had this kind of heat was 200 years ago. Our farmers crops are hurting because of it. Food prices went up and will go up more. It effects our economy.

Adam has a right to say it's hot but I don't feel sorry for him, he has an air conditioned condo, and a swimming pool. Oh poor Adam.

Combine the record heat with the high winds associated with the Santa Anas, and the extreme drought conditions that have been occurring in the southwest, and in Southern California for the past few years, and you have a recipe for potential disaster.. and deaths...

There are some dangerous wildfires occurring in SoCal as we speak. I have one friend who has had to evacuate herself from her home because of a wildfire.. She has 5 pets to evacuate as well, and no one to help her..

Adam is most likely safe, and yes, he has a pool, and all that, but its still hotter than hell.. Those without air conditioning can die from that heat, particularly those who are older, young children, and those who are medically compromised.

I don't think Adam was so much complaining as expressing the fact that it's damn hot, even for LA..

Off topic: American Idol has already been on tv for 85 minutes tonight and nothing from that show has trended, nothing, not even jlo's dress code. Everybody is saying that despite the fact that AI will return next year, it's NEVER going to be like it was before. Am so happy that Adam has taken charge of his career the way he wants it to go and at the pace he wants to give to it.

@Glitzylady thanks for your well written comment. I evacutaded my house couple of times because of fire caused by extreme heat. It's a horrible experience. Knock on wood, we haven't had fire in couple of years in our area. Hope this heat wave ends soon.

7:22, Love your term "puny" when you talk about singers compared to Adam. His voice is so rich and full and resonant.

To add to Glitzylady's comment...one of the major economic factor of California which is fifth largest economical region in the world is our agriculture that this year got hurt badly because of drought and heat. A lot of manufactured food products are exported to other countries from California such as rice, corn, tomatoe, potatoe, onions, meat, etc. products. The prices of all of these goods will go up because of the bad weather in California. So a lot of people indirectly are affected by it.

I don't watch Idol, but I heard Caleb is a rocker type. I would only vote for someone if I had heard them for the whole season. I would need a full perspective to make my decision. For all of you who are voting, I hope your favorite wins. There are always good singers on Idol, but very few stars. Good luck to them all.

Just want to add that my prayers are with the people who have lost their homes due to the wildfires in California. The weather is really brutal right now and an adds to the danger of the fires as well. Hope people take care of themselves and stay safe.

Caleb isn't a sugarcoater. I like that. I just think he went a little over the line with the "retard" comment. Not necessary. Great singer and entertainer and has earned his place to be in the Finals. I think he will have a hard time with the press though and might break a few mic stands along the way.

I think Caleb just tried to get some rock and roll reputation. He also mentioned hookers and drugs. Trying too hard, imo.
