I wish the tour would start tomorrow....I've been a 'brave soldier' about not going...truly happy for those who will, but suddenly I'm getting a bit green with envy. It's all so exciting.....my daughters offered to fly with me to any of the concert cities, but I said "do you really think I could handle the trip and concert?" Without hesitation, they both said ""NO!" I agree........sometimes you just have to "let it go." I'll have a few moments of 'pity party' then move on.......JAK

@JAK LOL! at 'brave soldier'. I haven't heard that in a long time but it applies to me, too. I was marginal for a trip until Mother's Day when I fell. I now have 2 broken bones in my left foot that the podiatrist sez do surgery. Surgery sounds ok, but recovery period sounds like hell. I'm still living alone and hobbling in a big black boot with no pain and have no intention of doing surgery unless it becomes life or death situation.

Also, I wish this tour would start. I'm excited for Adam, Queen and all who get to go. (in that order) Not jealous tho.

I know many Glamberts just hanging on in anticipation right now and getting little sleep.
(myself included!). Dream come true our Adam/Queen are both coming back.

Awww, JAK, you're such a strong person so I know you'll hang in there. Think of all the joyous hours to look forward to watching vids, reading posters loving comments, listening to Adam's glorious voice, and the list goes on.

JAK, I can't go either. No concert near me and I can't afford to travel to one. I too have bouts of envy when so many people here are going to multiple shows. Too bad I'm not in Florida or we could drown our sorrows in ice cream together :)

@9:59 AM....JAK here....What a great idea! A giant "Pity Party" for those of us who aren't able to go to a concert! We could play Adam's music and moan and wail and curse (if you are so inclined)
at our misfortune...just for a little while, then play Kickin In and Fever and Shady and dance (those who are able)...those who aren't could laugh at the ones who can!

@5:41 AM....JAK here....Sorry to hear about your foot, I'm hobbling too, same foot! Mine is from a 'bone bruise'...I didn't know you could break the inside of a bone!! Apparently that's what a bone bruise is. Mine hurts and I'm wearing 2 snug socks and one of my husbands over them, it's sort of like a cast.

I hobbled into hospital this morning for a shoulder x-ray. If it weren't for hospital and Dr. visits, I would have no social life at all!

I hope you feel better fast. We will have to content ourselves with video of the concert...can hardly wait! :-)

You know how I am, even suffering the effects of an obvious curse...
I can always be cheered by a clever verse!

Funny you should mention kale, my daughter and spouse were visiting from out of town for a couple days and they made a trip to Whole Foods. They returned with a variety of healthy stuff (which I avoid like the plague) green veggies, truffle oil, some hideous demonic looking mushrooms which she carmelized and served with a roasted chicken...I'll admit they were tasty.

Later in the evening she opened a bag of kale chips and encouraged her dad and I to try them. We each took a chip...he swallowed, I didn't. ooooo Yuk!

I've made it to 78 1/2 not eating healthy foods, I'm not about to start now.
