Kudos to Brian May for shooting back! That piece of crap must have really bothered them for all the right reasons. Unfortunately, many of the people who read that stupid review won't get to read Brian's response.
Thanks Brian for speaking out. Sometimes I don't know if these critics even go to the shows. Saw you all in Maryland , and the show was amazing, especially for my kids who said they had never seen a show quite like that. Bravo!!
Mmm so I'm not the only person who is irate about some of the things said on QueenBert reviews. I did comment on Brian and Roger as being very good backup singers to blend in with Adam's singing/voice subtly so as not to override Adam's voice.
Some of these reviewers do not put their heart and mind on their reviews; they treat it as another piece of work and they just follow more or less what has already been stated, no originality. And worse, when they actually want to stand out to get people's attention, they go for negativity by hitting where it's sensitive, the subject concerned. That's not what writing is all about ! Probably to quote the above-mentioned reviewer...it's "canned" writing at best.
@Lamy-My: Haha! I loved your response - "canned" writing! One of your best comebacks! I love Brian and Roger's voices and I'm so happy they spoke up! I guess some people can't understand that perfection does exist in the form of Queen and Adam Lambert!......nancdruuu2
Brian and Roger are singers in their own right, just not back-up singers. There are many harmonies in Queen's catalogue.
Well, if you're going to be criticized, it might as the be for better too good. I love Roger and Brian's response to that guy. Hope at a few people see their response.

Hello Nancdruuu2...so nice to hear from you!
Brian and Roger have very good singing voices; I kind of like Roger's voice especially, quite ethereal. Actually Brian and Roger are Adam's best backing voices so far. I think honed from experience, they know how to weave them into Adam's voice and that leaves Adam with just a bit more force/energy to scale those extremely difficult high notes. Sometimes I feel a bit tense when Adam is hitting those terrible high notes; but he kills them dead. lol! Thanks!
I thought I was the only one that tensed up when Adam went for those high notes. . . .

Blu...I think a lot of Glamberts feel this way. lol!
