Hello again Adam...you're looking good and your vocals are soaring high and diving low as well; Your low tenor is pretty sexy and sounds a bit Elvis; like when you perform Crazy Little Thing called Love. Just heard a beautiful sound-check of a 'new' song for QueenBert; perhaps getting ready for the eastern leg of the tour. Yea that melody is in line with easterners, has an oriental lilt. When Adam comes east, he becomes the Star a wee bit more than Queen. But Queen will come through big time because there aren't many bands with that kind of Rock edge. There are excellent bands in this region but not many, Queen calibre...especially Brian's cosmic guitar...I like that a lot. Yea all the oriental gals will go...goo-goo-ga-ga over you, Adam. Adam loves the east; it shows in his expressions, one reason being we take him lock stock barrel, exactly as he is and because he's so handsome. lwl!

Great review:

Lambert-led Queen keeps Freddie alive

BOSTON — Is this the real life? Or is this just fantasy?

That's how Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody" begins, and it's a question one might ask regarding the 21st-century Queen. It's sort of both: Queen is on the road once again without its late singer Freddie Mercury, but with an able-voiced substitute, "American Idol" winner Adam Lambert, filling Mercury's not insubstantial glitter garb. (Not that Freddie was absent, mind you. More about that later.)

The 24-date tour stopped at TD Garden Tuesday night, opening with the sizzling, staccato riff-rock of "Now I'm Here" and a grand finale, more than two hours later, with the classic rock, stomp and glide of "We Will Rock You/We Are the Champions." This, officially, is billed as Queen + Adam Lambert, rather like the Queen 2005-2006 tour was Queen + Paul Rodgers, featuring the former Bad Company/Free singer. You have to admire Queen's truth in advertising. They're both Queen and a Queen tribute band wrapped into one package.

This year's unit boasts, as always, Queen co-founders guitarist-singer Brian May and drummer-singer Roger Taylor, plus touring members Rufus Tiger Taylor (Roger's son) on percussion and drums, Neil Fairclough on bass and Spike Edney on keys. Co-founding bassist John Deacon opted out long ago, last playing with the band in 1997. Mercury -—the flamboyant singer-songwriter with the multi-octave voice and the subject of an upcoming long-in-the-works biopic — died in 1991 at 45, an AIDS victim.

Lambert, of course, is the dashing young fella who sang Queen songs as a kid and now gets to do so on stage in hockey arenas in front of thousands. (His own solo career is presumably on hold.) He was clearly in awe of Queen's music and band members, noting how it all seemed "surreal." Though his patter sometimes went overboard on the giddy, he was mostly up to the task, as both singer and in-house cheerleader for the band he fronts. Lambert hit the highs and he hit the lows. He was as happy in tight black leather (the start) as he was wearing a crown and leopard print suit at the end. Flamboyance comes as naturally to him as it did Mercury, one difference being that Lambert is gay and out and Mercury remained in the closet, almost up until the bitter end. It wasn't the best-kept secret in the rock world, but it was Mercury's choice. And those were different times..............
