I'm in Auburn Hills right now, too. Hope the weather holds out. Chance of late rain. Fingers crossed!

It bothers me how little Adams name looks next to queen. It should of been a little larger don't you think? I should be happy it is there in the first place.

No, I dont. Think the size is perfect.

As long as it is there, nothing to complain about. Great advertising.

I know David Bowie has a residence in upper New York State

David . . could you make it to Mohegan Sun to sing "Under Pressure" with Queen and Adam!

I hope Margarita Lady sees this. Hey Glenda Renard, hope I got it right. I read your heartfelt LV review...very touching. I left to have my usual cuppa and crispy toasts thinking I would return to respond; but couldn't locate the thread again.
I like all the superlatives many of which I use rigorously. lol! Only, one thing, when you said Adam almost brought you to tears and I know what you are saying because even on screen I've often felt that hard work and power at the same time to convince, reach out to the very souls of his audience. So I was thinking elaborate on which portions touched you that much. Not a critique...I will never critique you...you know exactly! what you are doing...not groping in the dark or fuzzy wuzzy. lwl!
Oh I also re-read your Supine poem, yes, I saved that rather controversial thread. So it would be your second Supine encounter of the 8th kind... the first being at GNT; which I entitled 'Broken Open" as he lay all sprawled out on the stage floor; the only difference, this time he is smiling happily; the first Supine was as if he was having an orgasm; I don't often use this kind of words but if you don't believe, take another closer look. lwl!
An in-depth recount of your LV adventure and Renard sounds pretty aristocratic. Have you checked if you descended from some long lost dynasty. lwl!

The name Queen is way too big and bold against 'Adam Lambert' on the truck. Graphically not so aesthetic and Adam being the Frontman should have his name bigger and bolder as it would give the impression...he was merely hired to sing but as we can see, he practically lifted Queen out of the doldrums in more ways than one...that is from the art point as well as the spirit of original Queen which is largely reinstated.

4:03, Actually, I'm not going to the concert. I'm in Detroit for a different reason. Just happy to be so close to You-Know-Who.

I think the size is just right. He's a guest singer and not really part of Queen.

On a related note, did anyone going to any of the concerts have others think Queen and Adam were performing separately, like one was opening for the other? Several people I know thought that....

Truck-n-Roll rumbles on, dusk to dawn
How about giving 'Adam Lambert' a bolder font lwl!
You're doing a profound job
Making sure everything is tip-top
The sound, the lasers and most of all Adam's voice
As he lobs it right to the back
Wailing the vintage Queen tracks
QueenBert has taken on a life of their own
The original Queen spirit has come home
To the gratification and satisfaction
Embraced by the last two remaining Queen memebers
Who address him as, our new Boy
Humble Boy looks so coy
Don't be mistaken, he is all-out to foil
Any unbeliever as he rolls out the fun like a decoy
His ethereal voice sails through the ether
Captures Brian's heart with Who Wants To Live Forever...
Brian thrusts his fist into the air
As Adam hails...the last note flares...

During this particular Tour; Adam is not just a guest; he is the Front man of Queen; a very important part. On this tour; Queen would not be whole without Adam. A Queen by any other name would still need Adam M. Lambert. A rose by any other name is still an Adam!!

No, it does not seem as though Brian and Roger are opening for Adam or vice versa. They seem to be a very cohesive group. That seems to be consensus of the majority of the concert goers.

Opinions may very; but one seemingly opening for the other is quite a stretch, and the first I have heard of such an opinion. Most who I spoke with and even read about, said it is the best concert they have ever attended!!

Apparently, there will always be someone looking for something to criticize; but the over all opinions from fans of Queen and Adam; and the majority of bloggers and music critics have been overwhelmingly positive about Adam in his role of the Front man of Queen for these concerts; and especially how well Adam fits in with the band.
