"I Was Born To Love You": QUEEN song added to Queen + Adam Lambert's performance  playlist for Super Sonic Festival in Seoul, South Korea 8-14-14

Two full vids (below), with different perspectives and sound quality.. AND Adam gets down off the stage briefly, much to the audience's delight! Everyone is singing along...they obviously love QUEEN & Adam!

And a little history of the song (via Wikipedia):

"I Was Born to Love You" is a 1985 song by Freddie Mercury, and was released as a single and on the Mr. Bad Guy album. After Mercury's death, Queen re-worked this song for their album Made in Heaven in 1995, by having the other members play their instrumental parts over the original track transforming the song from a disco number to a hard rocker.

Lovely song and lovely rendition. With Adam singing it's perfection. I can't believe how well the audience knows the song! It must make Adam and Queen so very happy!

Thanks for the history of song. I love how they are reinventing not so well known songs with Adam.

When Adam sings in his lower register, it is almost too much for my heart to handle. Adam was born to sing, "I WAS BORN TO LOVE YOU". Killer, just a killer! Margarita Lady

Oh, Adam, in Seoul,
You descended your throne!
Marched into that audience,
Chilled your fans through the bone!

I Was Born To Love You,
Enthralled hearts, tears to eyes,
Lyrics created just for you,
Did you hear Cupid's sighs?

Yes, Adam, an amazing feeling did come through!
Now, ascend back to your throne,
Fans melted hearts,
Meshed with you!

Love that song! I think Brian and Roger are loving being able to bring out so many other songs in their catalog that they know very well Adam can handle perfectly. He just nails every song every time.

Margarita Lady, great to see you back here! Love your poem AND your name!

Thank you DRG and Rose Petal. I have missed all of you as I have not been here for a few weeks. I was still up very late last night, and decided to check the threads for any news from Seoul. OMG, I almost had to be revived after I listened to Adam sing, I WAS BORN TO LOVE YOU". The lyrics to this particular song take me back to my teenage years when boyfriends were so romantic and would actually sit down and write cursive love letters to their girlfriends. I work with so many young people and I almost can't imagine young men today writing beautiful phrases as are written in this unique song. Romance such as this track dictates is almost unheard of in this electronic day and age where love affairs start and end with text messages. Thank you, QUEEN and Adam for the revival of this magnificient song. I cried. Margarita Lady

Thank you for "getting my angst & frustration" a few threads back, :) I just love Adam so much and ALWAYS wish that he would get the accolades and best publicity where ever he goes... Now I'm happy that everything seems to be "hunky-dory"...

This song, IWBTLY, is a fine example of "whatever Adam sings he makes it sound SOOOOO good" - and yes @Margarita Lady, it sounds like a teenage love song from some decades ago... Sung by anyone else, I probably would "turn off the radio", but Adam's voice...or the way he uses his voice, the tone, the nuances... it's like music in music, better-er than the notes that make this music...something inexplicable, oh I give up... Just wish I had seen him singing this song when he was in love with Sauli... summer 2012, during the European mini-tour...

Greetings All!
